VIVA: glad you liked INKED....I think that show rocks. Too bad it's only a half hour show but still! I watch it on Wednesdays b/c there's not much else on. You HAVE to go see it when you go to Vegas!!!! And tell Carey I love his shop and if I ever get back out to Vegas, I'm coming to get another tattoo to add to my collection! Hello everyone,
Thanks for the good luck wishes for the interview. Well, I had it yesterday and I must say I felt like it was the worse day of my life!! :( I did well the first half of the interview and the second half, I got really nervous and couldn't get a word out. I totally blanked. :?: How freaking crazy is that? I was so mad at myself for messing up. I don't know what came over me. So, I feel like the biggest dork right now. :mad: I have another interview today at 3,30pm in Bala Cynwyd where my dad works. This one is for an Administrative Assistant position at an Insurance Company. My dad loves where he works and says they really treat their employees well. I don't know why for the love of God I am going to where my Dad works, but I thought it would be good for interviewing skills. It's more money too, so we'll see. I say that about my Dad b/c my dad and I don't get along too well. He's an alcoholic and he's just a VERY difficult person to get along with. I was even shocked when he told me about this position. So, I don't know... we'll see. Other than that, nothing much new to report. I hope you all have fun at Twiddle's party. :) Have a good weekend all... See ya later! |
HAPPY, I have my :crossed: for you. And don't feel like a dork, we all get nervous and go through what you went through. If they are as good at interviewing they will notice that you were nervous and just overlook that part and go by your qualifications. :goodluck:

HAPPY: we all flub interviews. I remember the time I went for a teaching position...I walked into the room and there was this big azz table with about 15 people sitting all around it. I about passed out. I could not remember a thing about teaching after that. I tried to make out like I knew but I didn't. I was totally embarassed! :o Good luck with your interview and let us know how it goes!
