Thanks, SPILLIE and ROCKER for the gift, and thank you ROCKER for the cake! It was quite tasty, and I know you understand why I didn't eat much of it. You'll understand even better when I tell you........ I'm down another 1.5 pounds this week! Woo hoo!! I officially match my little stat bar down below now. Finally! I'm hoping to lose 4 more before Thanksgiving, but given that it's only 2 weeks away, not sure it's going to happen. But I'll try my hardest. Although I think I'm going to splurge on Chick-Fil-A for lunch today. I started thinking about it this morning, and I know it'll just bug me until I eat it, so... But then it's right back on the horse, no excuses. I actually have a bit of work to do today, but I'll try to check back in later on. Have a good one everyone!! |

Not good with the water....not feeling well today. On top of it I'm having a sad day too. Just not feeling myself. When I was coming back from an appt. this elderly man stopped me b/c he was lost. Unfortunately I wasn't able to help b/c of 73 being closed. I felt so bad for him...he kept saying all he wanted to do was to get home and he wasn't sure how. He had problems with his eyes....he told me all about his surgery and cancer. Every once in awhile a litle bit of drool fell out of his mouth. I directed him to go across the street to the nursing home b/c there are a lot of people that work there and SOMEONE should be able to help him. We ended up talking for almost 25 minutes. My heart was breaking for him. Made me really miss my grands. So now her I sit crying. :cry: I don't wanna be here anymore.
So, given that I too will sign off. I'm off tomorrow so I'll catch you Chickies on Monday. Have a good weekend. |
