:cheer: Oh Penn State games are fun...oh the memories I have...I started going to the games when I was in 7th grade...my best friend's family has season tickets and I'd go to all the home games...this went on for years...I think I stopped going when I was in college because my first year there I didn't have a car and there was so much going on at my school....but anyways, we'd stay at the Holiday Inn in Lewistown (now it's the Clarion Inn) the night before and then drive up 7 mountains to get to stadium and tailgate...I remember we'd be parked along the side of the road waiting to park and opening up a nice cold one...bright and early in the morning! :cheer:

We have decided to do a breakfast and lunch tailgate tomorrow. Even better! Got eggs, egg beaters, sausage, bacon, pancakes, hash browns, orange juice (and vodka, of course). Then...we have burgers, dogs, chips and dip, macaroni salad, and beer. Lots of beer. (SHOCKER!) OMG...I can't wait. I want to go now!!

That's actually a good idea VIVA, about staying in Lewistown. We always get a hotel room in State College, but it's getting pretty pricey. I'd like to go to more games, but the 4-hour drive up and back in one day would suck. I think you might be on to something there!

Yes, we used to do the breakfast thing too! And mimosas...oh I'm drooling now!! And my friend's Grandmother had this UTZ PENN STATE tin with a lid and she'd always bring UTZ chips from the factory in Hanover (where she lived) to every tailgate...yum! And rice krispie treats were a must every home game...

Staying in Lewistown wasn't bad at all. The drive in the morning wasn't bad...it's definitely better than doing the whole drive there and back in one day. We'd leave on Friday evening around dinner time and get there at a decent hour. Get up early and head up those mountains! Fun times for sure...they still have season tickets...I'm going to have to see about any games they can't go to next year and snag some tickets...DBF has never been to a PSU game and he loves football so he'd enjoy it.

You'll have to let me know! If it works out, we'll tailgate together up there! Hopefully we'll go to most games, but definitely the big ones, like Michigan. And if it doesn't work out, maybe you guys will want to take my tickets for a game. We'll see!
