I am home today. We are closed on Wednesday. I am still in a funky mood though. Joe and I are trying to plan a diet together but he keeps telling me that I need to eat as clean as I can. I am whinning the whole time and I think he is getting agravated by it. I just don't want to eat chicken breast and salad all day long. That just doesn't sound good to me.
Cherie I was young when i go my first bad burn too. It was no fun. I will never forget having to lay on the floor b/c everything else hurt. I was at the beach and I don't even think I have sunscreen. Did that have the back then? Take care of that cutie.

I was doing so well in March but fell off the wagon and got ran over by it and still not have recovered LOL!!!! I am not a big salad fan. And I always feel like I have to do something with the chicken breast. Like fancy it up like bbq sauce or chicken parmesan or something mexican. I want to eat clean to and try to cut back on SUGAR!! I know that I am not alone. It just comes so easily to Joe. He is an all or nothing kind of person and I am, well, just lazy. I know that Ihave to work at things to make them happen but it just isn't fair that I have to cut out so much. I am going to see if I can find some recipes that will help me get through this. I will give them to you if I find any. I know that you like to cook. I take that back, you may not like it but you are always cooking some great stuff. I am going outside to wash the truck. It is pretty nasty.

Hey girls.... busy today, just popping in to say hello. Julie I'm jealous!!! you're probably at home watching that darn AI finale. So what's the verdict? Did our beloved Bo win it? I have to take Michael to his karate class which gets out at 7 so i should be able to be home and all ready to watch it. This anticipation is bugging me!
Kempy, Rick is the same as Joe. Once he makes the decision to eat clean and exercise he goes all out and just does it. Me? I start out with him then fizzle out and end up right back where I was before. I just saw some pics taken yesterday at the graduation and boy do I feel really disappointed and disgusted w/myself. *sigh* Yeah, it's just laziness that's keeping me from doing what I need to do. I think I need to have Dr. Phil kick my @ss or something Can ya come over and wash my car too? The darn cats sleep on the hood and leave all their hair behind and footprints right up the glass and roof. This is really frustrating when ya get the car all clean and sparkling like you like it--makes me want to run them critters over sometimes!
Cherie you are awesome w/your willpower. That Kashi is good stuff, loaded w/fiber so it keeps you full. Do you stick with one flavor or do you like to mix things up? I like the Go-Lean Crunch, and the Cinna-Raisin Crunch. The regular Go-Lean kinda tastes like pressed wood? Not that I know what pressed wood tastes like but I do know how it smells anyway, good going on that healthy eating. Take care of that little girl of yours. That sun can be nasty. It only takes one mean burn to make them listen to you about putting sunscreen on and wearing a hat for protection.

Good Morning everyone... Yeah.. it's Thursday! Well.. because I was bored.. and nothing else was on TV.. I watched your American Idol. I think both finalist were outstanding, however based on the two songs they sang with their respective idols, Carrie sounded better. Bo, on the other hand... I think in the long run, he will do MUCH better sucess wise than Carrie. He just has that special something about him. Although I could see him easily as the lead singer for some nice alternative band more than I can as a solo artist... Carrie will do OK in the country field. Anyway.... I am glad I didn't have to decided, they were both outstanding. And what about the nice cars they got! Woo Hoo... I want one!
Later, after the girls went to bed... I started watching Poltergeist III. It freaked me out a bit... because it dealt with mirrors.. I am irrationally afraid of mirrors in the dark, and it stems back from my childhood of have a few re ocurring dreams where my mom would apprear in my mirror in my bedroom, and I would turn to talk to her, and she wasn't in the room, turn to the mirror and she was in the mirror. Ever since then... I hate mirrors. That was the exact premise in the movie last night where they would see something in the mirror that was not quite right .... brought back alot of anxiety for me. But stupid me.. continued to watch it... and when it address my other childhood re occurring nightmare... cars that start up on their own (headlights come one and it starts driving) well, I turned the movie off. So I had to face two of my most disturbing childhood memories... right before I had to go to bed, ALONE. Sucked! Anyway.. once I did fall asleep, I think I did ok.. had some dreams but I can't quite remember them.
OK.. I guess I need to get busy with work. I have a lot to do in the next few weeks, we are changing payroll systems.. and I have to make sure everything is right on track! Talk to you guys soon.

They have a spoiler thread where I got the info before the show aired here. Some radio stations broadcast the results as well. Man, Carrie was so emotional that that last song was really baaaaddd.... oh wait, maybe that was just, Carrie. Nah, she CAN sing but I just don't like that style of music. She's much too "shouty" and reminiscent of Kelly Clarkson (whose style I like a teeny-tiny bit better, but not much). Anyway, yesterday afternoon I had to re-wash the hood and roof of my car since those stinkin' cats slept on it and some sticky pawprints and cat hair was stuck all over it, I listened to my new AI4 CD (I know, I'm a dork). I really liked Vonzell's Best of My Love song, reminds me of when I was a little kid And surprisingly, Scott Savol actually sounded pretty good (at least I didn't have to see him). Anyway, I will wait with bated breath for Bo's rocking CD to come out.
Cherie, those movies make me freak out too. I don't have a fear of mirrors (other than looking at myself ) but I can relate to the car thing. Remember the movie Christine? or the other Stephen King one, the one with the big rig trucks? I forget what it's called, but those were frightening. The trucks held the people hostage in this rinky-dink diner and made them fuel them up but wouldn't let them leave. I think Emilio Estevez was in that one
