I haven't been on a scale in a bit. As the saying goes "denial ain't just a river in Egypt."

I'm having ex-husband stress, upcoming trip stress, houseguest stress, and husband needs to get a greencard already so they let him back in the country after vacation stress. All in all, I'm just worrying about everything except taking care of myself. I guess that's normal for women though, huh?

I'm not speaking to my scales either!!!! I have been eating really good and the sodding things still say 8stone 10lbs!!!

What do i have to do to make it say less???? ...and don't say RUN leanne!!!!!! lol

Oh morning Michellejy...I didn't see your post until after i'd posted mine.

I think the stress about everybody except ourselves is a women thing too...deal with all that you have to then TRY to spend some time dealing with your own stuff - it really does pay to spend some time on yourself!!

One of those nights last night...........one after another the kids were up and the baby was up almost all night...........I hope it is teething for the baby and the other 2 still getting used to being home.......aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah..............

Hey Leanne, you maybe on to something there....if the scales were to run away from me, i might just run after them...hey hey you may just have thought of a way to get me running!!!!

I'm off to my sisters for the weekend, leaving the scales at home as she is a superb cook! but i will start thinking of ways of making those darn things RUN!!!

Wow! I can't believe it's not just me that's addicted to scales. I just started my diet on sunday and have been on that scale non-stop! I've lost 5 pounds already and weigh myself wayyy too many times a day... probably 4-5 times. Today, I did really good and only weighed myself once when I woke up and then just now. I'm going to try and stay away from that thing until Sunday, the official weigh-in day!

Hello everyone! Do yall remember me? lol Probably not... it's been so long since I've posted last. I just wanted to let yall know that I have finally reached my goal weight as of January of this year. I've also made a huge move to the island of Hawaii with my family. It's nice to wear a bikini again Thank you guys for your support during the time I was struggling to loose weight! You guys are awesome and I couldn't have done it without you.

Michelle...I'm such a stress eater too...gained 10lbs in the last 2 weeks from stressing over moving etc....so it's back to the start for me

LOL TULIP- hey whatever works eh?? could be a real money maker , but I also thought what if you stepped on the scale and if we were up a little it would say " thats okay honey, you still look gorgeous", or something encouraging...that would be nice too...

HS- Yes, it sounds so funny but running is probably the ONLY time I think of ME ME ME ME ME ME ME. Plus, the way I think of it, is that I am "IN TRAINING" right now, and I have NO ONE to please or disappoint but myself, and I HATE it when I disappoint myself so that leaves me no choice but to try my hardest to please myself. AND like I said before, once before, once you TELL someone that you are going to do something, you dont want to have to explain to them and others why you didnt do it!

My dad is here for a few days, he brought his boat up, so I have been having some sunny, beach time with the kiddies...it is GREAT and who knew so MUCH fresh air would make them ALL sleep so well........maybe I should look into buying my own boat...hahahah

This summer if flying.......my baby girl is now 10 months old, and my youngest son will be 2 on saturday......wow....time certainly FLIES by when your not prego and counting down days...hahahah

AH, sorry to ramble on...

10 months old aready!! gees I remember when your little boy wasn't even a year old yet!! Busy mommy!! I'm not even going near a scale...been stress eating with all the OT i've been working and worrying about moving...I know it's excuses...BUT I did buy good groceries today!!

Had a huge storm today and water funnel clouds were seen near my house! Now the weather is soooooo humid again...it sucks...hard to breath for us asthmatics...ickyicky

Hello shelley...good to hear from you... congrats on reaching your goal weight..as you can see by my numbers, i haven't quite managed the last gew pounds...but it's as near as damn it!! So you moved to Hawaii....well your gunna have to post us a piccie of you in this ere bikini or we're ALL gunna have to come over there and take a look for ourselves! and having a holiday at the same time!! lol

Splashes - I'm gunna give you a smacked bottom no more stress eating, munch something healthy if your really have to...take this move as a positive one and change the way you do things (ok, you don't have to run if oyu don't want to!!) but NO SNACKING!!! We're all here to listen if you need us to...but keep away from the fridge!

Well i've finished the new Harry Potter book...wow it's great, don't know what i'm going to do for the rest of hte summer now! Still having visits to the osteopath (sp?) back still in pain, foot still has it's torn ligaments so i'm still off work, weather isn't too nice so we're all stuck in...luckily we're not driving each other barmy just yet!!! I'll keep you posted.

Tulip.. yeah I kinda fell off the face of the internet huh? LOL I have a feeling though I'll be trying to lose more weight soon though. I've decided to quit smoking. My quit date is August 10th. I'm gonna be going through some smoking cessation classes then. Wish me luck! I'm gonna need all I can get! LOL

Good luck with the no smoking lark...you've droppped all this weight so smoking will be a piece of cake (doh - not literally!!!) It's the same type of will power needed. I quit 16 years ago when my first DD was born. And even tho it isn't easy it is soooo worth it! and with the £££££££££ or $$$$$$$$$$$ (in your case) saved you can buy loads and loads of lovely bikini's!!!!

Well don't forget we're all here to support and encourage you if you need it!

I hope you all had a great weekend, we did...quite but got loads done around the house (well the family did as i am still on crutches!) visited friends on Saturday which was great as we hadn't seen them for a while.

...and now it's Monday morning and it's TOM and i ate pretty poorly over the weekend and i'm only 1lb up !!!! so i'm happy!

I got on the scale...I've gained 15lbs in a very short span of time and I hate myself...Hate the way I look...so what did i do? Ate like crap this weekend. So now I tossed out all the bad food and bought good food. Fresh veggies and fruits..lean meats....So no more crap....

It's been so hot here today it took all I could do to get outside and get stuff done..but I got alot accomplished and feel better about myself...so now it's off to walk the doggies and then have a hot shower and off to bed!!
