Star- Yeah, I know that's sad if he is on drugs, but that guy from Taxi was cracking me up...
I didn't think that the girl on the blue team looked almost 300, but she may be fairly tall and she looked more bottom heavy. I would be mad at Mike if he didn't try his best...lol. Although, at the end she was doing ok. Oh, and about your kids...I wish my MIL would try to distance herself from her daughter a little. She CONSTANTLY complains about her, but MIL is such an enabler.

Gina- I would sure like to try a desk job, though. Working with kids can be a real PITA...especially when you have to deal with diapering, behaviors, and VERY low pay...I gotta get outta here...

Kathy- Good luck with your son! I think that it would be hard to control a child when they don't live in your house. I think that teenagers would be terrible to control anyway!

2fru- I think that's so awesome that you jog on your lunch break!

It is a gorgeous day here, too! I can't wait to get home and go out for a walk. My lunch break is so hectic...I go home, take care of pets, straighten up a little, get caught by a train, go back to H-E-L-L (aka. work) and then I do the same thing as soon as I get home. Busy, busy!

The real Biggest Loser starts, I think, on January 19th or something....
I would too love to be on one of those shows, but it would have to be the Fit Club cuz I'm not big enuf for the other one. I think they should start a new one for people 15 - 30 pounds overweight......Actually I'm not real far off from Kelly LaBrock on Celibrity Fit Club and we are close to the same height. Shes' just alittle heavier than me.....But boy oh boy, what's up with that guy from Taxi? He must be into some serious drugs. Anyone see that?
I think i am now obsessed with the biggest loser LOL
yeah the blue girl is coming off spoiled and self-centered. she and her fiance both said that he gives her whatever she wants so that is just what she is used to i guess....and when she said something about the two of them not making it as a couple if they didn't do the show....bizarre (to me anyway)

I think there should be a 15-30lb show too!

yeah a bit out there. any attention is attention for a lot of folks....maybe he is trying to compete with bonaducci.
Hopefully he takes the help that the other celebs and panel are offering.

socal = antisocial.... instantly classic...

hottierockstar - I saw one of your posts in the Biggest Loser forum...I was checking out the avatar and thinking I've got to tell her about our biker chick forum.. But you were already over here, too!!

I don't have kids either - nephews is enough for me...

I think you might have gotten on email on the subscription way back when - but if you never logged in you wouldn't get more until you logged in again.

So - details - what weight loss plan are you using...what kinda bike are you riding...we are nosey...(I should speak for myself)

Are we due for introductions again? I don't know how much of the BL threads you went through (or this one for that matter - it'sa lot of reading)- but I'm kinda all over the place....what can I say? I love this place!

Hey hottie rockstar! I too ride like a girl (much to my dismay) But I'd rather ride like a girl than ride like a guy who has rocks in his head!

Gina, yeah I'm going by measurements/photos/clothes fitting. I'm just trying not to freak out about them!

I'm trashed after double kickboxing! I did some things really well though so it was a quality workout rather than a fast workout, but I'm still pooped!

Weather seems to have turned nice-ish today, so hopefully we won't be getting that cold snap they keep threatening!

Saw 2 more bikes on my way home yesterday, it was good to see them out again, but today it's only in the 30's again......I knew it was too good to be true.....
Went to jazzercise last night, it was good.....

Morning ladies!

Another busy Friday over here...LOL.

hottierockstar!!! It's great to see another girl rider here.

Well, I really need to check out the BL forum, too. I feel left out...

Dh came home later yesterday b/c they had a very quick Motorcycle Club meeting right after work for officers only. Since he works over 35 minutes away from home I chose not to go, even though I am Ms. Secretary...hehe. Anyhow, they have planned some really awesome rides for the season. I am so excited! I guess in February we'll start with a Polar Bear ride where you ride however many miles the temp is that day. But, since we live much further away then everyone else, I'm not sure that we'll do it. I mean if the temp os 40...I don't especially want to hop on the interstate on a motorcycle for 30 minutes THEN ride another 40 miles... Brrr... They do have some other great rides like museum trips, a sweetheart ride to OKC and stay on the Riverwalk, another trip to Oklahoma for the rattlesnake hunt. I am so excited and even more motivated to stick to my plan now!!!! I hate feeling so fat on the bike. Especially since Mike isnt a string bean either, I sometimes feel like we're shoved on it and it's really hot in the summer in such close quarters.

I just had to share my exciting biker news!

Star- When I lose a little more weight, I think that I'll take an aerobics/dance or kickboxing class. I'm a little too self conscious right now, but I think that it would be fun. I love to go out dancing, but I would love to take a class.

Last night I went out for a fast paced walk even though it was super cold, windy, and getting dark. Mike was at the meeting and I knew that I just needed to do it. I felt so accomplished with myself. I know its just walk when all of you are doing majorly intense workouts, but I guess I have to start somewhere.

2fru, Gina, hottierockstar, Kathy, Star and Harley (wherever she is!) have a FANTASTIC Friday!!!!!

hey hotties
Let's see where to start....oh i know! thanks for the welcome!

weight loss plan:
Up until this morning I have been a weightloss/fitness book junky. This morning i pulled 90% of them off the bookshelf to get rid of them as enough is enough already. The last one I purchased was Jillian Michael's book but haven't read enough of it to say "i am doing this".
After spending all this time and money on the latest and greatest my perception shifted to "stop with what you don't know and DO what you do know...calories in, calories out" I am trying to eat more whole foods within those calories in and get myself back into having a high activity level that isn't just doing chores. In other words, planned use of my muscles and energy for the benefit of my muscles and energy
I need to get back into my leathers. The past year brought a lot to my attention and i am in a place where i am "getting it" (i am sure the universe is saying "finally! yay!")
riding:
I have an '03 Honda cbr600rr. Star and all of you ladies will find this funny...it is too cold for me to ride (i am a wusssss) so i haven't been lately. I was going to ride tomorrow and we are supposed to get rain throughout the weekend

riding like a girl:
Can't ride like anything else, i am what i am
There is a huge long story (let me know if you want to hear it) behind it but it inspired me to make some shirts. http://www.hottierockstar.com

that sounds like a cool club! I should start thinking of "rides" and see if i can get any together around here. instead of "wanna ride? ok. where ya want to go? i dunno. anywhere? I don't care" LOL

peace, love, happiness, and hottiness to ya'll

hey hottierockstar - for some cool rides in CA - check out pashnit dot com - it has off freeway routes and cool places to ride (good curves and so on)...my bike is too slow for the freeway these days - gotta enjoy the scenic route. I googled yer bike - holy crap....that thing looks like it blazes.

Andrea - walking is great exercise! Doesn't it feel good once you talk yourself out the door and on the road? For me once the dog has his leash on - there's no going back.

I'm ready for this long weekend....on the 19th DH and I are off to Mexico - I have a lot of stuff to do to get ready. We are going to a little town called Dolores Hidalgo - think middle of nowhere about 4 hours north on Mexico City. His family is there...it should be fun.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Hey everyone~

Oh, was I a BAD girl last night!!! We went to a friday seafood frenzie buffet and lets just say I made a few visits to the bar. It's in a casino that's about 45 miles away, thankfully we don't go down there but every few years. So I ate 2 hunks of prime rib, crab legs, shrimp and then a sampling of about 4 of the yummiest desserts. Eclair, chocolate cake, cream puff, and a fruit tart. It was all about the meat and sweets. My husband, on the other hand, was all about the crab legs. 8 plates of them, yes 8 heaping plates. He ate for 2 HOURS!!! I had to sit with him for an hour after I was done (that's ok, I was too dang full to move anyway).

Hottie, I love those shirts!
Rebel, I know how you feel about feeling fat on the bike. I felt like a sausage in my riding gear towards the end of the season, so I need to get my but in gear so I don't feel so awful this year.
Chick, you have a long weekend and are going to Mexico? *in my best Napolean Dynamite voice* Luckyyyy..

Hi Star, and 2frustrated, and Harley!!!

Kathy
