wow Bonnie! excellent job! and I have news today too! 175.25 now! 1/4 lb until valentinies goal (and my wedding goal), but I'm going to go ahead and say I made it... (I had my shoes on)

YAY! :cheer: hope everyone else has some good news too! (and that Dena can come back to finish our challenge with us!)

KandiceS 02-10-2005 03:15 PM

:thanks: Bonnie :D

I thought about the Easter challenge too- if we didn't hear back from Dena- I was going to start it up- the "easter chickies"? got any other suggestions? Easter is 6 weeks away- enough time to lose 5 lbs! :balloons:

I said in another post 165 was the least I can remember weighing since 1994 (my freshmen yr of highschool) 11 years later, only 10 lbs higher- I am very pleased with that! so my birthday goal will be very challenging but I'm up for a challenge still- I like seeing my ticker moved over this much- just a little bit more to go!

everyone else- keep going! can't wait to hear from everyone on Monday to see how we all ended the challenge!

Hi Guys!

Sorry it's been so long since I posted, but my hubby has been on the computer day and night recently. He's taking a series of tests for his job, A+ training in electronics and computers. They told him he could work from home the last few days since he needs total concentration, and I was afraid to touch the computer until he finished these tests. I thought he was done, but he just called and said he's coming home early for more test work. He really is working hard lately between his hours there at his job and here at home.

Kandice, congrats to you for doing so well!!! We're all proud of you!

Bonnie, glad to hear that your trip went well. Welcome, back! We missed you!

It sounds like everyone else is doing great.

I'm still working out. And my knee still bothers me.
Thanks for keeping the thread alive and well.
Hugs,
Dena

I'm sorry I haven't been in this week; I've been sooooo busy! It's scary! LOL.

I just have time to say I made my goal for Valentinies! LOL. 1 inch off my chest waist and hips. I also checked my other measurements. Total inches in the last month Jan 16 til now, is 5 inches! Total for my journey is now 52.5 inches off! Size 28 to size 18.. yayyyy!!!!

Having ppl over tomorrow, gotta get sleep, uggh! Cooking for 12 ppl! It'll be fun, but lots to do! Hope to come in and reply to all of you soon! I'm in for an Easter challenge, definitely!

Oh and just bc I'm busy, I'm still here. I'm rooting for all of us! We can do this! :D

Okay, it’s official: I’ve hit a plateau. In fact, the scales show I actually gained ½ pound this week. So, the final tally for me is 5.5 pound lost during the Valentinies Challenge. That’s only about out half of what I aimed for, but every pound lost brings me closer to my goal, and I’m happy with the results. If I hadn’t joined the challenge, I probably would have gained weight.

I’m so proud of all of you for doing so well. :cp: Through the ups and downs of weight-loss, you are my inspiration!

And yes, I’m definitely up for an Easter Challenge. Let’s do it!

Happy Valentines Day, :balloons:

Hello, ladies

sorry I haven't checked in for a while. We've been trading off being sick at my house! Ugh. Anyway, I think we're all back on the road to recovery.

I did not meet my Valentine's challenge (to lose between 5-10 pounds) but I did lose 4.5 lbs so I won't complain!

Congrats to everyone who met their goal!

Those that didn't meet their goal, hang in there and join us in our Easter challenge! C-ya there.
