Default Happy Saturday Morning Ladies~

Sue~I am so sorry to hear about your DD. My friend in CA is going through a divorce, going on three years now. Everything was fine and almost settled till the ex got a girlfriend and the girlfriend is stirring up things. But why can't your DD move out of the state? My friend's ex did and they still share custody, of course it is not like the every other weekend thing like before but he still gets the kids. Divorce is hard on the mind, soul and body and I feel for your DD-(((HUGS))) to her and the kids. I do hope things work out for the best for your DD. Hope you can try and have a nice 3 day get-away with DH.

Mindee~check in when you can girly-know you will be busy today and tomorrow. I still haven't checked out your family's site. I ran out of time the other day but today...I have plenty of time so as soon as I am done...

Angie~sorry I missed chatting with you-I definitely would have had I seen your post! Maybe next time.

Marti~anymore peeking through the fence?!! Okay, I know that is not funny. When they were building the houses at the end of the cul-de-sac there was a guy that went on the other side of his truck, opened the door and I could see that he was zipping down his pants and then saw the urine going down the street. He was parked right across the street from our house and my door was open-I could see what he was doing. You wanna know what I did? I got the truck number and the phone number and called the company he worked for and told them I did not appreciate looking out my door and seeing some guy urinating in the street and gave them the truck #. I don't know if they did anything-I got an answering machine, not a live person so...I did not understand that though. I mean with all the cups laying around the site he could have taken a cup and went in the house in the basement where no one could see him, or to one of the 10 fast food places or gas station/stores that are in the area. I don't get guys.

DS got home about 8:45 last night-happy to be home. He brought me a T-shirt from the KC Zoo and some postcards-that turd! We had planned on going to the Zoo and the Botanical Gardens when we were there for the concert and it rained th whole time. I have yet to go to the KC Zoo darn it! I have gone up there twice with that in mind and it has rained both times, bummer. Just have to try again. Did I mention I love Zoo's! I laugh because I know I have, probably a zillion times. Well, I have nothing planned for the day. As soon as I get off here I am doing some much needed house cleaning. Mainly the bathrooms and vacuuming. I cleaned the kitchen and dining area last night after dinner, even mopped the floor. Has anyone tried the swiffer jet mops? I love it. Then I am going to work on DD scrapbook and hopefully finish that darn book I have been reading forever. And I think i already said this in my last post didn't I? Oh well...

HI to everyone!

Hope everyone has a great Saturday!

Angie--If I was online I would have come over and visited!

Sue--I feel for your DD. 110 is thin for 5'9"...I hope everything goes ok and she can get her life back on track. I have a friend who is going through a divorce and is having a rough time about the custody of her boys (she knew it would happen which is why she stayed married for so long) Divorce is a difficult thing to go through. I send hugs to your DD and GK's!!

Mindee--Don't feel obigated to post everyday, especially if you have tons to do! Pop in whenever you get the chance.

Cristi--This guy was hiding in the corner...and supposedly I shouldn't have been able to see him....but with a little dog running towards the fence I just happened to be in view. What bothers me is that the senior housing is just for that.....senior housing and when James and I moved in last year (wow....it's been a year already!) we spoke to her and she got all defensive telling us that her boys visit but none of them live with her. We didn't care....we had just move into the neighborhood and were thrilled with our new house. But as time went on...we DID notice that the son has been there and apparently lives with her. He makes such a mess around her area at times.....he looks to be in his 40's. And if I saw him with his mother more than I would think that he was truly helping her out...but he's just in and out with a bunch of people a lot of the time....I hope he's not taking advantage of her hospitality.

Not much planned for the day. Jhanai hasn't been feeling good so we decided not to go to the Scandanavian Festival. I hate knowing she feels bad. Her belly has been doing numbers on her. Being sick in the summer is never fun.

May head to grandpa's later to pick tomatoes and that's about it.

Jhanai's ready for breakfast.

Take Care and I will check in later

Marti~yep, it sounds like the guy is living with her. But what the heck was he doing urinating outside?! He sounds kind of shady to me, and creepy. Hope Jhanai gets to feeling better.
