good evening ladies.Sorry i've been such a slacker posting lately.Anyhow, got the first day of school over with.I like all the kids teachers and so do the kids so that's a good start.Last year I had a problem with one of my kids teachers. She just seemed very detached from the kids.Katlynn my 7 year old loved her first grade teacher and she went to say hey to her at open house and the teacher basically ignored her.Stuff like that burns me up. I don't think you should teach unless you love what you do.Anyhow enough on that.
Well i'm starting over once again now that TOM has left for awhile. That week just really is hard for me.

QOTD yesterda;i'm 6ft even
QOTD today:My favorite job was Carowinds when I was 16 I worked in the pool area catching kids at the bottom of the slides. And during the day I worked at Little Ceasors. That was back when I had enough energy to make it through the day.

Penny -those cups you were talking about are cute my kids done that for bible school this year.

Meltin-You don't live far from me I live in between Greenville and Spartangburg. That's pretty cool

I've been meaning to tell you girls that I can't post any Pictures.I want to but DH says it's to dangerous because of perverts and things like that.I can see his point so I respect what he asked me not to do.

Where is all the sparkle names coming from.I want one.My siggy left me.She's MIA still.
Well i've got to get off here and start getting the kids ready for school tomorrow.ttyl

I'm exhausted! The cold is now in my chest - never fun, but always what happens with me. More tea and aspirin for me tonight I guess. I've been way off plan today and have consumed 3,000 points LOL!

Lori- not to worry - I don't get any scrapbooking done since Liam's birth - or very little. Do you enjoy living in Germany? Sorry if that's a repeat question you've already answered . . .

Hi Melinda! We miss you, but glad you're doing well.

Jill- I haven't used my PhD yet because I got married and got pregnant But I use the PhD to put together strollers and such I was in school and focused on myself for a very long time, so I decided it was time to focus on someone else (i.e., I really wanted a baby).

Michelle- sorry about the comforter. I've gotten upset over some of Liam's destructiveness, but like you say, they don't do it on purpose. But just today I passed by this nice furniture store and thought to myself: "Oh - our couch used to be nice. Our rug used to be nice . . . " No new stuff until he's 21!!!

Hey, Angel How did it feel to start over today?

Okay, Liam's waking up

Good Evening Girls

Leigh, you poor thing....I also drink tea once in awhile. It really helps to break up chest congestion. I usually drink black, green, or peppermint tea, when I get a chance for a "tea break" but anyway take a hot shower or bath right before bed, it always makes it better. Lots of liquids and rest. I have seen CSI a few times. But I love watching the late night "real" crime shows on Court TV. You must think I am creepy or something, lol !! But if I could do it over again I would be a criminologist or a police officer. And yes I love to cook. I love to make up my own recipes and experiment. It is kind of theraputic. Well take care. I know we moms are not suppose to get sick but its life and we are human and we do! Its hard but hang in there. Hugs

Spyng the what I meant by the Van Dam was the trial of David Westerfield who was convicted of her murder. Her name was Danielle Van Dam. It happened in the San Diego area. I watched the who trial, nothing else to do while breastfeeding , two years ago!! Anyway she was the cutest little girl and it was so so sad. We really have to watch our kids. I always tell hus to watch the kids like a hawk when he takes them anywhere! I would just die if anything ever happened to my kids.

Penny I love your ideas for your party's. Sounds fun. I am since Monday watching my carb intake. I have not had a piece of bread all week. How long were you on it? What are you doing now, WW, watching cals? Anyway great job you have come along way! Go girl

How are you Jaymi? What did you have for supper?

Hi everyone else. Have a great night if I don't pop in again. Julie

Hi Everyone. Well, it's been a nutty day here. I lost power with the storm for about 1 hour this morning and it just threw my whole day off. Couldn't do my WOTP video and couldn't vacuume or run the dish washer. Then I was watching my friends daughter, so that took care of doing those things again. I will be taking a walk outside soon though, so at least I get some exercise in.

Michelle, I hope you in-laws are there by now. The girls are going to have a blast and so are you that your MIL is doing the cleaning....YES! I wish someone wanted to do mine.

SPryng and Jill, cool you got to chat while listening to that show. I will have to catch it sometime too. Good luck with the "saving dinner" Also, what is the 27 Fling that Flylady talks about. I think I missed it.

Penny, I'm glad you got some time today with just Andrew and maybe some alone time too. It's great DH took the boys to work. You should take a pic of them in there work shirts. I bet it's adorable.!!

Angel, you are tall! I bet it's nice Do you like it or wish you were shorter. I know I wish I was about 2 inches taller.

Leigh, I hope you feel better soon. Don't forget to call me if you need. How's Dh? Is he covering the hurricanes?

Jaymi, hello. Hope your doing ok today.;

Have a good night all. I have to get out for my walk, it's starting to get dark here.

Hey everyone! Just got back from Wal-Mart and the grocery store (yes I know, I don't have a super Wal-Mart!!) It was good, got in and out without too much hassle, didn't buy anything I didn't need so that is always a plus! Got myself a Crock Pot since mine burnt up on me last year. It will just be really great to have when school starts (for me) I want to be as prepared as possible so I can stay organized! So I am not being political here but John Kerry is in my town at this very second so if you watch the news and you see him that's my home town!! I just though it was cool cause you all could see my town not that I support or don't supports Kerry, just wanted to make that clear.

Angel your tall! I think you take the record out of all of us. 6 foot and 170 is good! I bet you don't have that much more to lose to be where you want. Good luck being on plan!

Leigh I am so sorry about your cold That stinks. I know what you mean about wanting a baby, I just wish I was done with school. That was my plan to start with but I was getting a lot of good experience with my job and school was on the back burner plus I get burnt out really quick. But I will be graduating with my Bachelors this Spring and will start Masters July 2005 and be done July 2006! I am excited cause it is finally starting to come together but I will confess that I would love to just stay home and have babies. I know some people think that is old school or whatever but I have found what I really love, I just wish we could afford it

Mel sorry about your power. How scary! Is the storm close to you? I sure hope not! Dont worry you have another day to get everything done! 27 fling boogie is going around the house and finding 27 things to throw away then you go through the house and find 27 things to give away or sell. Hope that helped!

Ok dh just got home so better start dinner. Hope you all had a good dinner. TTYL!

hello girls,I don't know what was up with the kids this evening but they did'nt want to mind at all.So I put them to bed at 7 instead of 8:30. It seems like they just decided to ignore me this evening for some reason.I gues it's because of school starting.

bayleysmom-yeah i'm not overweight.I just want to get toned up and get back down to the "before baby" weight. But I must say,I have'nt been tring to hard here lately.I need someone to kick me in the butt and get me started.

melmcc99- To answer your question-In school I hated being tall because I was always the tallest in class and got teased.but now I kind of enjoy it.Dh is taller than me.He's about 6'4 and weighs about 250 so he makes me feel nice and small when he hugs me.I like to feel small. All my boyfriends in school were shorter than me and it never was comfortable. But over all yes I like my height.I can see to clean on top of the frig and under it.lol

Leigh-I start over tomorrow.I should have started over yesterday.I'm hoping i'll wake up full of energy.I sure can tell a difference in my energy level since I have'nt exercised in awhile. If feels so good to exercise I don't know why I have such a hard time doing it.Once I get started I do good. The hard part is getting me started.lol

Is anyone going to tell me where to get the sparkly name or is that just for SPECIAL PEOPLE. lol.Well I'll probly post again before the night is out.DH started back to work and the kids to school so now i'll have alittle more free time.ttyl
Hey is anyone chatting tonight? If so,when?andwhere?ta ta
