Well, today is Day One.. and I havent exercised yet. But last night I got the worse headache EVER!! So bad my husband went and brought me medicine and something to drink in the bed to me. I usually take care of my self.. but he takes care of me when it gets REAL bad! I couldnt move!! I know it isn't sugar withdrawl or anything like that.. but I did eat some of those no sugar added blue bunny crunch bars... and my headache kept getting worse and worse. Hmmm don't know.... Anyways I don't have much time today, those hurricanes in Florida are affecting the weather here.. It's supposed to rain the whole week. I'm glad I got my pool and beach time in! It wasnt as hard as I thought taking the kids to the pool by myself... only packing the stuff back in the truck! But... the beach.. that's another story!
Today is pay-day, which means Shopping for the weeks groceries and household items. I have to avoid the dollar items at Walmart... and I doubt I can do it.. I bought 2 pairs of shorts for my little sis,, come to find out they werent 3 bucks.. they were 1 !! So I need to go buy me some!! My daughter has started pulling my arms while I'm typing.. telling me it's her time.. but it's always her time! Boy... as bad as she is... I want another one so bad!!! Well in about 3 yrs... I wish I could hit the lottery or something, maybe my hubby would actually have another one. I LOVE kids.. I guess I should have thought about that before I married someone who doesnt! Anyways I need to start making my menu for the week and the shopping lists. I was supposed to do that yesterday, but that headache took over! Anyways I hope everyone is having a great day.. If I can get my butt in gear... I'll be back to comment later! ~ Jaymi

Leigh~ I do Denise Austin… most of the time her show that’s on Lifetime.. Or her Dvd’s. I also got an old Power 90 from years ago, and a Kathy Smith Weights tape, and WATP. I also have a printed sheet of exercises for certain areas like legs, abs.. Etc.

QOTD- When I was working workstudy in college.. actually it was where I was working and working with my best friends mom that was the fun part! Not the money! ha,ha

Get back to everyone later!!!… Gotta go!!! Really!!!

Ok, here is some pictures from the beach trip the other day. I hope you enjoy. Most of them are of the beautiful sky!

Well I only had to read through 1 page of posts so this should be pretty easy! Last night I watched 13 going on 30, I had seen it in the theatre and it was really cute and funny so I wanted my dh to see it. It has a lot of 80's music in it and it just all around a good movie. I liked it cause there is no sex, just a little kissing and no on really cusses which is a plus since movies these days are pretty bad. So you can watch it with your kids and don't have to worry so much. Baby woke up at 2, 6 and 7 so I'm a little tired but not too bad. I'm going to plan my meals and grocery shop today even though I have chosen Friday as my day but I have to work tomorrow so I would rather do it today. I also need to get one of those GO phones because our local telephone company is so expensive and we hardly use the landline (our cell phone is cheaper even with long distance) but since I always have the cell I dont want my dh to be without a phone at home in case the baby is home with him and I am out. The GO phones seem pretty cool cause you just pay as you need minutes and if you hardly ever use it you wouldn't have to put out very much money. Does anyone have one? If you do can you offer any info? Anyway thanks for listening to my day I have planned! First though I have to go to the gym, this will be my 3rd day in a row so I have to keep it up and turn it into a habit.

QOTD: My favorite job hands down is working for the Boys and Girls Club. I want to become a teacher so working there has given me a lot of experience and has shown me what age I want to work with. I had so much fun there. I mean where else can you work where you get paid to play tag and paint pictures?

Crystal I'm glad you got more sleep! That's great! Have fun working on mom's house.

Mel you only got woken up once too! That's not fair! I'm glad he is letting you sleep more. I bet that feels great!

Spryng sounds like we both have days in town today! I love those supper bakes too, it's nice to have on hand for those nights when you really dont want to do anything complicated. You can just pop one of those in the oven and open a can of green beans! There you go dinner is done! The show will be on at your place from 1-3 so if you can tune it that would be cool.

Leigh scary storms huh? Do you get nervous when he covers things like this? You sound very smart! What did you go to school for? Movie was great!

Michelle have fun today! How long will they be here again, I know like a million people have asked you that but I can't remember! I'll do some research too, that would be so fun if we could get together! Keep us posted on all the fun you guys are having. Talk to you soon!

Penny I missed talking with you last night. What were you up to? So I am guessing the boy's birthdays are close together. When are they? I bet you are a great party planner. Curtains huh? Are you a master seamstress? I couldn't make a curtain to save my life but I wish I could! Cool about the hobby lobby cups!

Krsitin good job on the walk! Good for you! Have fun with your company today!

Ok I need to get my butt to the gym. Everyone have a good day! I will tune into the talk show thing today and let you all know if it is worth your time. By the way did anyone do flylady last night? I was bummed I was going to miss it! Let me know what happened. TTYL

Hey girls

Just a quick one here from me, I have not eaten yet and I am starving!! I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

Leigh, I love court TV, During the day when I get a second I try to get updates on the Scott Peterson trial. I just can not make myself to believe that someone could do that to another person. I am leaning on a guilty verdict?!? What do you think of Amber? I was kind of dissapointed in her character when she got pregnant and had a baby boy with all this trial stuff going on. But anywho love, love, the channel. I watched the Van Dam trial also. I wish there were cameras in the Peterson case courtroom. I have always wanted to be a police officer. But the way the world is today, I don't know. It would have to be a very small town ! I bet you miss hubby like crazy. Hang in there, okay? Your doing a great job.

Spyng, you are so talented. I love the blankets. Have fun doing your errands, I know they are pain ! I have no idea what to have for dinner tonight. Maybe I will go through my cookbooks. I love cookbooks, especially the beautiful pics.

Thanks Michelle, for the sbd info. I appreciate it!

Bye girls, Julie

Sorry to hear about the headache. That was sweet of your husband to take care of you. Well he should right, anyway I hope you are feeling better today. I can relate, I get migraines with my periods, YUK!! Julie

Hey Jill!

Have you picked out Bayley a theme? Are you having a small gathering?

I found Andrew's set birthdaypartiesbylori......

http://www.kidspartiesbylori.com/ind...s/page0013.htm

I went with a set that is not common. It was star shaped cake, plates and napkins and the whole party was done in stars.... Called First Birthday Star..... I believe..... I cut all the food and everything into stars with cookie cutters.....

I didn't make goody bags but I did do the personalized bubbles, personalized play doh and I bought clear plastic small bags and filled them with candy..... on cardstock paper I make Andrew his own tags..... It said ...... " Sweet Treats from the Star of the Party"........ on the back the ingredients were listed as One sweet birthday boy surround by his friends and family.. with nutrition values.... friends and family.... 100%.... love and laughter.......100% and such......

You get the pic.........lol

But they also have the cutiest little girl theme I adore too..... let me find it real quick...

http://www.kidspartiesbylori.com/ind...s/page0012.htm

but you can find most of the themes on ebay also....

Hope this helps

Sorry to ramble to everyone else.....

Good afternoon all!!

Well Jill and I listened in on that Mom Show on talk radio.. it was interesting. I really enjoyed Leanne Ely (the author of Saving Dinner) she had great advice to give! I was just going to do my own thing this week with dinner but she inspired me to do saving dinner this week, lol. Which is good because it takes the preperation out of the grocery list and all that. So that will be tomorrow.. grocery shopping!

Penny, that is so nice that dh takes his kids to work!! As soon as Bubba hits 5 yo he can go with Dh for a week at a time. he can't wait for that!

Julie, what is the Van Dam trial? Haven't heard that one. And I LOVE cook books too, I only buy healthy ones now and sold all my others but I love them all. Someday I really hope to be a great cook. I'm getting there.. hey believe me, I've come a LONG way since I first got married, lol.

Jill, so nice chatting with you while listening to that show! Can't wait to do it again. And now i really want to see 13 going on 30, sounds great! Did you find more recipes for this week? How was the gym??

jaymi hope your shopping went well and thanks for posting those pics! You can really pull of a two piece! You must have lots of muscle because you do not look as heavy as your siggy says.

Kristin, great job on your walk today!! And you'd have to be really quick to catch dh, lol.. he just passes through towns, fills up his truck and sometimes sleeps, but he's never there for long.. he's in Wyoming now! LOL. On his way to Olathe.. if everything goes well tomorrow I just might get to go eat lunch with him. He gets his new truck tonight and is on a load to Orlando FL! I'm so jealous! lol. But if he has extra time I will drive up to see him tomorrow. But it's very if-y right now.

Michelle, I hope you are having a wonderful visit!! Please check in when you can.

Leigh, if I was ever in FL i would definitely look you up!!! How is your day going?? Is your WI tomorrow??

Ok, I'm going to lay down for a nap now. TTYL!

Afternoon, gals! The nanny came earlier today, which was very nice. I'm still not feeling 100% better, so I just went and roamed around the bookstore and chilled out. If I were totally back to normal I would have gone to Target or run errands.

Michelle- Oh, I hope you have a wonderful time with the in-laws! I know you will. I love the web site . . . you should work in computers/internet technology.

Penny- thanks for the compliment! Those are pages for my various albums. I think Baton Rouge is closer to us than Boca LOL! Penny- I love those mugs - did any of you do those when you were in elementary school? Maybe I'm too old for you guys - but we made those once or twice for Mother's Day, etc. in elementary school and I loved doing it. How is Rubie doing? Your party plans sound awesome - you could be an event planner!

Kristin- great job on the walk! Awesome. Man, lots of you met your DH at work :;

Jaymi- I think artificial sweetner can give some people headaches. Hope you're feeling better today!

Jill- do you work for the Boys and Girls club now? That's a good organization. I don't get scared of hurricanes - but I definitely hate earthquakes and tornados. Woth hurricanes you know where they're going and what to expect . . . I have a masters in sociology and my PhD in communication

Julie- being a police officer would be fun - do you watch CSI? I love that show! I also think it's strange that Amber chose to have another baby because they keep saying she's this burdened single mother, but she decided to have a second child out of wedlock, so I'm thinking, what's up with that? Do you love to cook?

Spryng- what have you been up to today?

okay, I've got to go- it's taken me an hour to write this because Liam keeps trying to "help." TTYL.

Evening Ladies,
Thought I would chime in here before heading to bed. I don't know how you guys are able to read and write so many posts!! I barely have 10 mins to sit down in front of the computer throughout the day!!

Penny- the party sounds like its going to be a lot of fun!!
I'm planning DD's birthday party, which is next Saturday. I can't wait for it to be over so DD will find something else to talk about. Her birthday party and halloween is all she can talk about lately!!

Jaymi- Love your pics of the beautiful sunset and your family!!! You look good!! How much weight have you loss?

Jill- I have a phone similar to that here in Germany. I spend about 50 bucks every 6 months. Granted, I don't use my phone very often but you can't beat it. I was spending 50 bucks every month on our cell phone when we lived in the states.
I'm trying to talk DH into renting 13 going on 30 for tomorrow tonight. It looks cute!!

Leigh- your scrapbook pages look awesome!! One day I would like to sit down with my kids' photos and do some scrapbooking!! They'll probably be grown and out of the house before I get it done, though!

You guys have to fill me in on FLYLADY- what is it?

QOTD- My favorite job was working as a gardener after I graduated from college on a 500 acre estate. The best job and pretty good pay! Had great coworkers and was out in the sun all day.

DD just woke up, have to put her back to bed. Gotta go!!

Default I am still around!!

We have been on vacation most of July, so I have slipped out of the loop.

Not much change on the weight loss, but I feel like I am practicing a healthy lifestyle.

I posted a new pic of John Wesley. He will be 1 on the 22nd of August. It has been an amazing year.

I will try and caught up and get personal with each of you. I really missed you.

Hello to all! I hope to be back for awhile.

Hey everyone! Baby is down for a nap and I have some time before I have to head out into town for awhile.

Penny thanks for the great site! I checked it out and everything is so cute! I have a huge family (on my dh side) so buying enough for everyone would be too expensive. I like the ideas though and will probably make up my own with some of their themes in mind. I need to get on it though cause it will take some planning. I kind of want to do ladybugs since that is what I decorated her room in so we'll see what I can find.

Spryng it was fun chatting with you too! We'll have to do this every week! However next week is out cause of my school but you listen and give me an update, k? You should definatley watch 13 going on 30 it's super cute!

Lori thats great news about the phone! I was paying 46.00 a month for my landline and we didn't even have long distance!! It was rediculous! My cell gets long distance and its only 39.99 a month so I figured a go phone would be the best choice. I need to go investigate today. I think your dh would like the movie, mine did and he really isn't into chick flicks! Talk him into it.

Leigh I am on call with the BGC right now but I used to run my own club for about 3 years. I stopped when I was about 4 months pregnant and focused on getting some more school under my belt before the baby came. Guess what........ I am a communication major! I am going to get my masters in teaching but we can't major in education at my school so I had to pick something else to major in. So we have something else in common. PhD? that must have taken a long time! Have you used any of your schooling in a job yet?

Hi Melinda I'm Jill, I'm new here. Nice you meet you!

Ok need to get a couple of chores done before the little one awakes. TTYL!!

Melinda I think the avatars have to be 100 x 100 pixels someone please correct me if I"m wrong. Its funny Melinda just last night penny and I were talking about you wondering where you have been. Glad to see you posting again and glad to hear you are eating healthy

Inlaws haven't gotten here yet still waiting and we haven't been able to reach them on their cell phone. Taylor is just tickled that they are coming
I got so mad at Taylor today she cut 2 holes in my Ralph Lauren Down Comforter she didn't do it on purpose though, she had brought the scissors in so we could open her potty present and she tried cutting the package open and got the comforter I got some fabric tape and patched the hole thankfully they were small so the patch isn't that bad but I was disappointed. Oh well thats life with kids I suppose.

So I went to walmart and got fabric patch and new bed pillows and a new body pillow and a blanket to go under the comforter cuz its starting to get chilly at night again.

We're having pork chops for supper Maybe some potatoes with them, I dunno, I gotta work at 8pm til 1 and then I'm off for 10 days which will be nice.

Jill how has your day been? What do you do at work? Are you like me and only work a few hours a week to get out of the house?

Penny your parties always sound so neat!! I wish you could help me plan mine lol. I may have missed it but when are the boys birthdays so I can send them a lil somthin somthin.

Spryng so have you started a new crochet project? I can't wait to see the next one!!
I can't wait for your WI tomorrow!!!

Ok I'm off to find something to do, I will TTYL!!
Love to all
