And in the winter I fix it with a piece of bread in the oven with spray or light butter, cinnamon and splenda... It is so yum!! I am sooo sorry you aren't feeling well! Sending some good vibes your way :

Hey everyone! I guess no chat tonight which sucks because my husbands annoying friend is coming over and I need something to do and of course I want to chat too!

Leapfrog and Candy Store in Wal-Mart! My Wal-Mart must suck we just have a mediocre snack booth, we used to have McDonalds but it was really gross! I wish we had a leapfrog or candy store, no fair! Ok enough whining.

Penny did you guys have fun today? It sounded like fun , did you camp for the day? OR just go down the river? We were going to go to the lake today but by the time we got home with groceries the baby went down for a nap and we just wanted to veg. out. Hope you had a good day and are having a good night.

Michelle cool siggies, have you gotten everyone done now! LOL! Hope you are having a good night too!

Heidi welcome! Its good to have a new member. I just joined not too long ago and love it! Everyone here is so supportive and nice. Makes you get addicted real fast. I hope everything works out with your thyroid and weight loss. I wish you the best and welcome again!

Ok, I'll be on here for awhile hoping someone will chat with me If not I'll catch up with you all tomorrow!

Smile good morning

Coffee is almost ready.
Hi everyone, I never posted again yesterday, we had a get together at dh's family' house. Cooked out, danced, played ping pong, yadda, yadda, yadda. It was fun, I guess to get out of the house a bit and let the kids enjoy the nice weather.

I don't like whining, so I'll make this fast. I had a headache the entire night before last, all day yesterday with a couple of slow moments when I thought it was gone, but then it would come back. Had it all night again. Andrew slept, okay, I figured, though, when he woke up instead of us laying on the couch, I should just climb in the bed with him and I did. The first time he woke up I had such a terrible headache, down the back of my head on one side and down my neck. So bad I almost was in tears. I have no Tylenol which is all I can take, so I just found a comfortable position and managed to go back to sleep. When Andrew woke up again, I had already gone back to my bed and the headache was easing alittle but not totally, so I just did the same thing over and over again. I was thinking it was a migraine which I don't know that I've really had before, I know I hadn't had anything like that last night. My g-pa used to suffer from them so I know they are hereditary. So when I got up this morning, I researched them on the net and I had a few of the symptoms but not all of them. What really worried me, I use the word worry lightly because I'm not a worrier, is that the pain that goes down the back of my head and my neck is on the same side as this knot I have on the top of my head. It's a cyst of somekind, but one doc said not to worry until it gets bigger then they will take it out, but I don't like that doc so I think I'll ask my new doc. It wouldn't bother me if I wasn't having this pain on the same side. So after reading about migraines that led me to brain tumors. Doesn't really sound like one but still.
Okay enough of my whining.
Today I'm gonna take some laundry to my mom's and get some done. I have nothing to cook for dinner so I must go to the grocery store. I am so ready for school to start, I feel like I have nothing underway right now. I mean, I've got the house stuff going on, the school stuff, crochet stuff, but nothing is actually being done and I'm starting to feel so unuseful, does that make sense?
Okay, now enough whining.

Jill, sorry about your dh's annoying friend. I know about those. Hope you slept good last night.

Michelle, those websites that Cheri sent you are good. Enchantedlearning.com is one of my favorites. I know there are more if I can think of them. Keep me informed about how that is going.

Spryng, how are you? How is your cold?

Geri, hope the party was fun. What was it for, just because? Those are the best.

Hi to Cindi, Penny, Melinda, Mel, Jaymi, Kristin, and anyone I missed. I'm gonna go sit down, watch the news and drink my coffee.

Oh My Goodness, Ladies!!! I don't sign in for one day and we're already on #237!!!

Yesterday, DH, the kids, and the dogs and I were going to try to walk to the castle, needless to say we never made it to the top but we did walk for 3hours!! We couldn't find the right trail to get to the top so we just walked and walked..... and walked some more. I think we'll try again next weekend, after we drive by the castle and try to find the right trail.

Last night we drove to one of the military posts that's about 1.5 hours away and it was a pretty wasted trip. I'm looking to buy a bike and they had such a little selection. I bet its because summer's almost over but I don't really want to buy one from a German store because of the exchange rate. It'll cost so much more than its worth. We'll see what happens, I really want to get a bike and start riding with the kids on the trails. There's so many bike and walking trails here. They go from town to town and just all over!!

Not doing too much today, Took the dogs for a walk this morning and filled up the pool for the kids to play in. Today was my WI and I'm down .5lbs. Not much, but at least I didn't gain this week. Still have 6lbs to lose to meet my Labor Day goal. I know someone asked me what the Labor Day Challenge is and its a challenge that the 20-somethings started after Memorial Day. You set goals for yourself and try to reach them by Labor Day. Some of my goals were to do cardio at least 3x a week, stay OP with WW and to weigh 150 on Labor Day, which is still obtainable!!

Wasn't done posting when DD hit the enter key a couple of times!!

Crystal- sorry to hear about the headaches, I think you should really see the doctor. I think worrying about them might cause more stress and may make the headache worse. I don't get them to often but DH and I both got them yesterday afternoon. I'm pretty sure it was because we were dehydrated after that long hike!!

Uhoh- DS just woke up from his nap and is asking for juice, I'll try to post again later!!

OH- QOTD- I think my favorite toy was my bike!! I just absolutely loved to ride it. It wasn't a special bike or anything, it was actually used, but since my mom didn't have a car it was my only way of transportation.

Good morning all!

So sorry I didn't post again last night but I had to choke down dinner (it was good but my stomach was still sour) and then what was left of my energy went out the window. I was sooo dead! I just laid on the couch forever. So by the time bedtime came I got all the kids down and I crashed! But that gave me a really good nights sleep so I feel much better today. Still a little congested but no more sour stomach. I hope to get alot done today.
Anyone watch Big Brother last night?? Looks like it will be an interesting week! I also watched about 30 min of Ron White on the comedy channel. That guy really cracks me up!! If anyone saw the Blue Collar Comedy Tour he was on there too... the drinker, lol. Tator Salad, lol.
OK, today I just plan on catching up on more flylady stuff... dinner tonight is... not sure yet. Maybe bbq chicken with corn on the cob and baked beans. That sounds really good. What is everyone's menu for today?
B- nutra grain muffin bar
L- lean pocket with baked chips
D- as written above
Oh I did have one of those ww cakes yesterday, it was very good! The chocolate hit the spot. And for 1 pt, it's a steal!!

Do we not have a question of the day for today?

Lori, what castle were you trying to get to? Sounds like you got a great workout in though with all that walking. Congrats on losing 1/2 lb!! That really is great!!

Crystal, I would worry too about that cyst and the headaches. Things like that scare me alot. Definitely talk to your new doc about it and let us know and in the mean time I hope that headache goes away for you!

Jill I hope you got to chat last night! LOL. You are one night owl, lol. Chatting too many nights in a row really tires me out sometimes. And my walmart is just like yours so don't feel bad, in fact the one in my town isn't even a super center! I have to drive to the next town for that one.

Penny, no I haven't put on the new foundation yet, I just didn't feel like it yesterday, but maybe today. But it was only 7 bucks... not too pricey for foundation, I have paid up to 15 bucks for it before... but it lasts a long time. Your day at the camp sounds like fun! I'm sure your kids love it too.

OK, I'm going to get off here and get my bed made and my morning routine going. Hope everyone has a great day!

As soon as I finished the last post my dh called... he is very upset. He found a dead body of a man this morning. He was driving and saw a person laying in the ditch on the side of the highway... so he stopped and walked over to see if he needed help or something and when he got up to the body he saw it was mangled and he was dead. He threw up. Poor guy. I'm feeling really bad for him right now. He called the police and he had to be questioned because they thought he may have had something to do with it. But it was a hit and run. Dh is on his way to Chicago now so he will get to stop here tonight to sleep! I'm excited about it. Plus I think he needs some quiet time fromthe day he is having so far.
Anyway.. just thought I'd share. I wouldn't know what to think if it was me. I would be totally freaked.

Crystal,
So sorry to hear about the migraines. That is terrible. Hope you find out something with them. Are you still taking those supplements? Hopefully they are nothing to do with it. Just checking.

Spryng,
That is horrofic about dh. It is bad to know that even though he stopped to help, we live in a world where he is questioned to be in on it. Poor guy. How long did it mess up his schedule? That is great that he comes in tonight, even if it is just to sleep OMG, my hubby has been watching the comedy guy. Tator salad... that is just so funny!!!! And btw, the foundation, I could have sworn it was $11.00 here but maybe it was the wrong one... hhhmmm makes me wonder now... no, $6.00 is great for foundation though

Lori,
Congrats on losing this week Hooray for you! Hey, A loss is a loss right. I know you will make it on the Labor Day Challenge!

Michelle,
I had a dream about you last night...... lol Keep you in suspense.. lol

Yesterday's qotd: I forgot to answer... I had lots of fav toys but I did have a pillow that my great aunt had made when I came home from the hospital.... it is green and white gingham and has feathers in it.... I still use it to this day... I brought it into labor with me for each of the boys

Ok Ladies, I am feeling great today... I have been on plan every day for about 5 days or so now and dh even called this morning to bring home donuts (which I don't eat) but he asked me if I wanted a sausage biscuit (which is my fav) and I said no thanks.... Food is not tasting as good as thin feels right now

Still don't have a qotd huh?

Ok Let's see....

If you won a free cosmetic surgery.... what would you change if anything???

Ok the first thing...lol I would actually change a couple but the most prominent is a tummy tuck. From the kids and all the c sections... it is just horrible

Next would be the boob job but hey a girls gotta dream right... lol

Penny, no I'm not taking them simply because I kept forgetting and I was getting most of my energy back anyways. All I'm taking now are the prenatals.

Spryng, that is terrible. Sure hope your dh is okay. What a great guy, though, to stop and offer help. Most people would keep going.

My dh thinks my headache is all sinus related because he hears how stuffy I am and such. The pain down my neck is gone, it's now just a headache, but this makes the 2nd day in a row that I've had it. I've got to go to the store later and I'll get some Tylenol, maybe Tylenol Sinus.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Default G'morning Chicks :)

Hope everyone is having a great day so far. My coffee is almost ready so that's always a good thing. Hubby went to day shifts this morning. So while that his his least favorite shift and mine too, in a way I'm glad. I'll get to start walking in the evenings while he takes the boys to the pool or park, along with doing my pilates during the day.

Spryng--your poor hubby...how scary that must have been to have seen that. I'm anxious to hear about the make up too.

Michelle--thanks again for my signature...too cute. I have tons and tons of homeschooling links. The ones I sent were what seemed relavant for what you had in mind. There really is a wealth of stuff out there to assist you in home educating your child.

Crystal--sorry to hear you are stuffy headed and icky feeling. Its bad enough to feel like that whe you aren't preggo...I'm thinking of you today.

Lori--congrats on the loss...woo hoo.

Penny--your trip to camp sounds fun.

QOTD yesterday...favorite toy. Well that would be my baby beans. I got her for my first Christmas when I was 6 months old and I still have her.

HI Heidi...Welcome to a GREAT group of ladies.

Today's QOTD-- If you won a free cosmetic surgery.... what would you change if anything. Nothing. I would never chose to have an elective surgery.

Menu for today--haven't really thought about it.

B--ww toast with apricot preserves (sugar free)
L--grilled chicken with salsa and sour cream & asparagus
D--I'm wanting a salad from Quiznos.

Ok I'll start with QOTD I would have a tummy tuck!! Hands down. I have always had a little more around the middle, even when I weighed like 118 and it just got worse with age. Then I had a baby! I didnt think it could get worse but it did! So after I have all the babies I am going to have I would get a tummy tuck.

Well Bayley slept good last night she woke up at 6:30, ate and then went back to bed so I am feeling rested. Sounds like the rest of you are as well so that is good. Menu today is
B: Light in Fit Yogurt Smoothie
L: Some kind of sandwich on WW
D: Leftovers of the Chile Chicken Casserole (it was yummy by the way!)

I bought those 100 cal. packs yesterday and had like 3 of them! I guess their not 100 cal. if you eat 3 right?! I didn't eat 3 at once, but still. Don't have much planned for today except to do some flylady stuff. Need to get a headstart so I am not so overwhelmed during the week.

Crystal, sorry to hear about your headaches. I would worry too about a lump and a headache on the same side of your head. Definitley get it checked out and let us know how you are feeling today. I hope you can get to the store and get some Tylenol.

Lori sounds like you had fun yesterday and got some exercise in, thats the best kind! I hope you can find a bike you like for a good price. I don't ride mine very much anymore and I should be since it's still nice weather outside. I know what you mean about getting headaches when you are dehydrated, I get those too. Good job on the .5 pounds lost!

Spryng sooooooooooooooo scary! I couldn't believe what I was reading when I read your post! What state was he driving in? I would have freaked out! My cousin found a body while he was hunting in Montana not too long ago and it turned out to be a a woman who was murdered by an escaped convict! He is still having nightmares over it. I hope your husband can come home and have a good nights sleep and can try to forget about it. I do chat a lot at night but you have to remember when its midnight where you all are at it's only 10 here so I don't get too tired! I'm glad to hear you got some good sleep and are feeling better now. I'll be cleaning with ya today!

Penny good for you on passing on the junk food today, I would have probably caved but I told my dh what was up yesterday cause he kept scoffing at my diet food, so I gave it to him! I told him that I was trying to lose weight and not to make fun of my diet food and that it wasn't for him anyway then I told him not to tempt me with junk food and such so I think he gets it now! But good job staying OP! So..........what was your dream about? LOL! I hope it was a good one!

Hey Cheri, that will be nice to be able to work out at night while hubby is watching the kids. I do that sometimes too but most of the time I just take walks with my daughter cause she still rides good in a stroller and enjoys getting out. How is the Pilates working out?

Ok I have like 17 messages from flylady so I guess I better go sort through them! TTYL!
