As far as what we are doing this weekend, I am not sure. I am hoping that our friend comes over so that we can get a little further on her wedding plans, since she is getting married in May and only has her church, reception site, wedding party, and her photographer (no deposit yet) so far.
my DH decided to work in VA last night so he wont be home til this afternoon. he will still leave tom evening to go back. hes trying to earn extra money to buy a camper to live in down there. right now he is living in his friends camper and the friend wants it back. argh!!! he has 4 grown children who live on their own but they all have kids and he doesnt want to listen to kids scream all evening. his 5th son that lives down there lives with the mother. DH says thats not an option LOL. guess **** figure it out. right??
Jana- as for chat, 10pm thursday, my time, is perfect!!! i watch a show thursdays -big brother and then i can come to chat . yay!! thanks for the info. as for the fender bender-aka door ripper, LOL- that sucks!! glad your ok. when i go to walmart, i try to go early in the morning before anyone else is there. i also park as far away from the building as possible in fear some idiot will do to me what they did to you. as far as your insurance goes, thats what you pay them for. dumbies!!!

I lost 1/2 pound today, and I'm not complaining, mind you, but since I stayed POP all week, did my exercises and drank all the wadder, I was hoping for more. Soooooo .... it's time for me to lower my point range again. Actually should have already done that!
The wedding tonight will give Neal and me a chance to dance, so I'm wearing a dress to look like a girl. I had trouble finding a dress (with sleeves) that I like... this one is kind of dark, (dark grey with amythest, and pearl buttons) but it is feminine, and I am comfortable in it. The bride and I have been friends since we were 9, so I am especially glad to witness this. She has been married before, but never had a big wedding.
Jana~congrat's on the 1/2 pound-hey something is better than nothing right?! But I totally understand being OP and not losing much. I am kind of leary about WI on Monday. Hope you have a fun time at the wedding.

Not much going on here in my neck of the woods. Going to do a little bit of yard work, a couple loads of laundry, some reading and definitely some scrapbooking done today. Trying to keep busy to keep my mind off DS leaving. He had to go to KC today to start training someone. He is a manager at a conv. store and anytime they need to train someone he does it. But they usually come to his store. Anyway, he will be gone till next Friday and me being the worry wart that I am...I am going to be a mess when they move out. Anyway...

I really wish I had the right words to comfort you, just know that each and everyone of us girls here are here for you when you need to talk, ok?
Susan--James does have some RR buddies...some in their 40's...but married. Sorry. But you know, if you were to meet any if them....you'd probably see them more than I see James!!
Tj--I just started watching Big Brother a couple weeks ago. I was trying to find out what day "Amazing Race" is on and that happened to be on....I still have no idea what the show is about so it's not one that I "GOT" to see....but the "Amazing Race" really caught my eye! I keep telling James that we need to sign up for that!! It would be so cool to travel while competing!! Jana--1/2lb is 1/2 a lb!! It all adds up!! So congratulations!!! I'm not going to WI this week due to TOM being here. So next weekend. I always feel so bloated and icky around TOM and the idea of stepping on a scale just doesn't appeal to me!!
Cristi--Since you're in the process of doing your laundry and all.....mind if I drop mine off at your place?? It sure would take a load off my shoulders! My plans for the day sound similar to yours...get the house straightened up, do laundry and then off to scrapbooking. Or maybe grab a book and sit out on the swing....not sure. But housework first!

Jo, one of the hardest jobs is being a parent, the other is making a marriage work.
Two my closest friends are working on divorces, then I have a dear friend who after something liek 20 yrs is talking to her ex about getting back together.
TJ, about 8 years ago I was on antidepressants, what I went threw before the meds was a nightmare and gladly did what I had to to get my life back. I did gain alot of weight, with one kinda and with some research changed it and leveled out the weight gain.
Jana, sorry about the fender bender, as long as no one got hurt all is well. Thats crazy that this guy doesn't have to own up to responsibility of causing the accident in the first place.

Cristi, I have had the same pair of glasses for about 4 years, I only wear them first thing in the morning and night time. I wear contacts the rest of the time.

I had to work on the case a few times this week, with football practise every night and then working till the late nights of 1-2 am then working at the office at 8 I am tired! WAHHH
I went out with the girls last night,,,so much fun,,,we went to Kelsey's Not sure if thats Canadian. Anyways had girly drinks with lots of whipped cream and sprinkles..ya alcohol drinks..lol
Then we went shopping for makeup,,,I showed Becky how to apply makeup and not look like shes wearing any more or less...lol Just enhanced the beauty. The fun thou!
Slept alot today,,,then took the boys to the cheap theatre to see DodgeBall...ok I guess Im crazy but that kind of movie just cracks me up...cheap entertainment. No thought just stupid humour. I guess spending the last few nights watching drug deals and hookers in action makes me want stupid humour...lol
Football practise is going well, Im getting along with the other parents...lol Funny eh? I should get a t shirt that says doesn't play well with others...lol
Becky and Angelika come over and hang out with me,,,which is great.

Hope everyone had a very nice Sat. It was beautiful weather for us here in IN again. I tried to be a "good girl" all day. Went to an anniversary party for my ex in-laws and my ex was there. Sooo, I was good, for the sake of my daughters who did alot to put on the party. Actually, after all these years, there are no feelings there or any reason to not be good. My husband is, however, a saint because he went with me.
Came home and had veggie soup for dinner and walked 2 miles. For some reason I feel like I did nothing but eat today, when in truth I only had a few vegetables and crackers and a tiny piece of cake at the party. I had only 1 piece of wheat toast for breakfast and a tomato for lunch. Oh well, tomorrow is another day.
Made myself a pair of pj bottoms this morning. I have made so many of these for the granddaughters and daughters that I can almost sew them in my sleep. LOL. This was the first pair for myself.
RK..All this cervix talk was so funny to me. When I had my hysterectomy they left my cervix. My new Dr. read my medical history and said "why did they leave your cervix?" and I didn't know. Then he gets me up there for the exam and the nurse comes in...he loudly says "yep, you have a cervix alright." So last month I go to the gastroenterologist and HE reads my medical history..then he is going to do an exam and HE says "yep, I feel your cervix." I was like ..what the heck? have they never felt or seen a cervix before? Made me feel like I was a freak or something.
I really enjoyed chat the other night and forgot to mention it...
This computer is going to kick me off in 15 minutes so I need to hurry.
We are having a slumber party!! YAY we have pizza, brownies, and wadder melon.....$7 dollar whadder melon. Does that seem like lot of $$ , it is to me.

He is 42, 2 children, 8 years divorce. He attends a church close by that does joint ventures with my churches singles group and he has been to my church. The next joint venture is later this month and we might meet there, though I would prefer earlier in a more quiet setting....
Anyway, he works for the cable company - was in the Air Force before that and he is super, super funny.
Oh- CS...........came in a state check for 50 Nothing from the money orders Mike said he had sent last Wednesday.
I guess that is it. I better get back to the party and I am going to get kicked off!!
Weighed in at 146, so that is a relief, though a pain........a painful relief....lol

my funny exam story is,,,my Dr. was warming up the jaws of life in the sink,,,with hot water! And no he didn't check to see if it was too warm,,,(could of tapped it on his writst like checking a baby bottle...lol) anyways he inserts and I literally jumped off the table, pulling it out and yelling wooooooo I don't know who was more red,,,him or me...lol

Susan - yep, even where you live, 7 bucks is too high for a melon. And to think I have them 50 feet out my back door... they have already harvested about 4000-5000 of them, but there're still some out there... No, you can't call him the Cable Man, it has to be the Cable Guy. Don't you watch Comedy Central and laugh at Larry the Cable Guy? Anyhoo, glad he has a good sense of humor, that is a necessity to me. Btw, next time you go to counseling w/Mike, mention to the therapist what a big ol' liar he is! No wonder you have issues! Well, the wedding was just beautiful. This is the same woman who lost her brother 2 weeks ago, and she cried about that, but all in all, she looked radiant. I did real well with the food, and spent my time focusing on the people I hadn't seen for awhile, and dancing with Neal.
The whole family's coming for dinner today and I'm glad of that. We'll play in the yard with the grandkids and soak up the fresh air.
How is everyone this fine Sunday morning?? James is heading south this evening so I should see him. (not so bad once we get used to this) It's the being on call and never knowing when he's leaving that get's to be a pain in the butt!
Yesterday I decided to NOT do housework or laundry I was going to call my sister and see what she was doing for the day and she ended up calling me!! So I went up there and spent some time with her and my niece. We went to Target and OMG!!! I am so glad that Jhanai is 10!! I gave my sister a look and said "And you're having another one??" Of coarse I said it with a smile! That little one sure wore me out!!
Jana--I pay Jhanai now for doing the things she can do. During the school year, if she comes home with an occurance.....she gets money deducted from her allowance. Bad behavior in school is not a good thing! I remember being called into the pricipals office when she was in the first grade!! Can you believe that? Well....I guess I can....she had just moved away from my town and to a bigger school and she had a little trouble adjusting. Long Story!
Angie--I too had to laugh at your post!! Are you sure you wouldn't cover a cervix search?? And WHAT was your doctor thinking about putting something HOT in there!! Sometime you just got to wonder.....especially a male doctor...I mean...do they even have an idea what we go through??
Susan--A $7 watermelon?? Where did you find this golden watermelon at?? That is spendy. Although I don't buy watermelon, I think that is pretty spendy.

Well today I HAVE to do laundry and clean up my house. NO more excuses. Not making phone calls to see how people are doing. Going to get it down and then relax before I go get James later tonight.
Jana~yeppers, I too will worry about my babies till the day I die. DS was saying that when he is out on his own and probably 30 I will be telling him to call me. I told him yep, even when your 40 etc. I said you will always be my babies no matter what the age and I will always worry so deal with it! LOL Glad the wedding was nice and you and Neal had a grand time. Did your friend happen to have a picture of her brother there to include him in the wedding? I have seen some people do that, even though I always feel our loved ones are always with us. That must have been so hard not having her brother there, (((hugs))) to your friend. About cleaning house, I too am getting to where I hate cleaning and cooking-been doing it for so long. I swear when I finally get a job I am going to have someone come in and clean every other week. Now if only I could get someone to do the cooking? LOL
Marti~bring your laundry on over and I will do it! I figure if anyone would really travel that far for me to do it they I definitely would. I did get some cleaning done and the laundry and some scrapbooking but no reading, figure I will do that today. Of course and some more scrapbooking. Got DD involved with it and she actually liked doing it. We kind of ran into a little glitch thou-I have no stickers or papers for a baby. I always walk right past it saying don't need that. But I did/do, not thinking about doing a few of their baby pictures. I found some cool papers that has stuff that happened the year they were born. You put a picture in the middle and then it's like a frame that goes around that with what happened in that year as far as who was president, the cost of housing, top songs, movies...anyway didn't get a lot done even thou we spent a lot of time on it.
Susan~hope you guys had a fun slumber party, and yes $7 for a watermelon is high! It must have been a HUGE one for that price! LOL Yeah, I agree with Jana about the "Cable Guy" cable man just sounds funny.

Angie~I don't think I could wear contacts, just don't cherish the thought of something on my eye. And I don't really mind wearing glasses. To me they are kinda like jewelry for the face! All this talk about the cervix...hmmm...all I have to say is I am glad they finally did away with the metal jaws of life and now have plastic!
Okay I guess that is about all I have for now. I am going to go and relax and read the newspaper, do some scrapbooking and watch tv-just be lazy! No cooking day for me so will probably throw in a lean cuisine in the micro later and just munch on some veggies for lunch. Take care ladies-TTFN

The Journey concert was ok. Really not my first choice, but it was "work" so what can I say? I think there were like 17000 people at the fair that night. Surprised me!
My haircut is pretty good. A little shorter than I planned on, but it really fluffed it out, and apparently, my hair is getting more waves to it. My dads side is very curly. I had 6 inches cut off. It's still a couple below my shoulders though. DBF thinks it's too short, but he doesn't have to live with it!
It seems we are all telling cervix stories, so here's mine. After one of my exams a few years ago, doc says to me "Everything looked fine from my end." Guess it's ok, since I'm on a much less formal patient/doc relationship with him since we worked together at the hospital. That's a little odd too!
I've got yard work to do. So hopefully, I'll get in here later to do individuals.
Guess what???!?!?! I wear BDUs for the last time ever on the 25th of August - thats right I will be out of the Army and into the classroom! The bad news is that my husband will be here for at least 5 more months I hate that - but I will be that much closer to my degree... and for the first time ever I will be my husbands dependant. I have been in the Army for 6 years now. This is going to be huge - and good and sad. But still I am excited. So - Yay me!!

I talked with Mike this afternoon because he was suppose to get Gabster. I didn't want her to go. One reason and the main one is I think every week is too much and I rarely see her myself.
Two is I think he lied. He said he mailed something Wednesday and Thursday.
Today I said I hadn't received anything. He said he mailed it though.
I asked if there was receipts??? It was a money order.......
He said he had a $30 dollar money order but not the $20 .......I reminded him that he said he mailed a $20??
Oh, no he said ........he didn't mail the $20 after all because he got a unemployment check and he knew I would get something.....
Just around and around we go.
I said "isn't it kind of weird I didn't get the money order?"
Just the mail he said.,....he had a reciept. I said "that doesn't mean much because it could be any $30 money order,,,,,
He has done some pretty good whopper lies, really hard to believe anything he says now.
Anyway, I lost it with him and asked that he not call me. He wanted to call tonight.
