Hi everyone. I'm sorry to have been absent for so long. I think I'm just going through some type of delayed grieving. I just haven't wanted to talk to anybody. Sorry.

I've read through the posts and I wish I could post to each one of you, but I just don't seem to have the energy. Sorry.

I'm sorry for those who are hurt;(Carol!)
I'm weary for those who have so much work;(Sherry!)
I'm happy for those with pounds lost;(Everyone!)
I'm glad for those with trash you have tossed;(Debbie!)
I'm thrilled for those with celebrations;(Dee!)
I'm hurting for those who need chiropractic manipulations;(Shelley!)
I'm tickled for those who are back on track;(Gayle!)
I'm wishing you school workers didn't have to go back; (not yet anyway!)
I'm sending belated birthday wishes; (Jennelle and Vicki!)
I'm going now to do the dishes.

Good night everyone and happy dreams.

Ramona, sweetie, no need to apologize. It is perfectly normal for you to be feeling the way you are. Even though you knew you would lose your mom and had some time to prepare, it doesn't make the loss of her any easier. We all understand and are here when you need us. LOVE YOU!!!!!! I had a teary day today too... it's so sad to lose the people we hold dear to us.

Ramona-You deserve to do any kind of grieving that you need to. I can't imagine being able to handle everything you are going through right now.

Carol and Gayle-You can do it. I have all the confidence in the world in both of you. It may take a little butt-kicking, and some ups and downs, but you will both do it!!

Wow there sure is a lot of action here. Thank you everyone for posting. So much information my brain just can't process it all. I think I am having brain farts....lol

Today is a big day for Dez. She is having her Grad dinner and dance. She has a poofy periwinkle blue dress with a corset and crinalin (sp) blue gloves, blue sequence top hat (yes she has to be different and a large blue rinestone necklace. It is very stuningly shocking and beautiful. I am not sure if Larry and I will stay long at the dance but we see if most of the parents go home or not. It is hot here, around 90 out. It is a good thing that Dez keeps her silver hair short. Yes she dyed it silver to go with her attire.

Tomorrow I have a vestibular test. This is the test that makes most people sick for the day. The next day we go to the states for the MRI. I will be getting the results by monday.

I am confused and buzy. These drugs are pretty potent. I have decided toswitch them around a bit so that I can be minimaly stones some of the time and not all of the time. I know that it is ok to do that because when I was at the dr's he mentioned that I could devide up the pills to 3 times a day instead of just two. So forgive me if I don't make to much sense.

Love you all. Just wanted you to know what is up if I am not posting much in the next few days.

I am still hurting. I am going to try and walk today instead of run. Tomorrow I go back to work, and my house is still a disaster area! How depressing is that? I was able to do edging in the hallway, so at least that is done.

Gayle-I got the gallery glass stuff. I spent $40.00, and now I am thinking about chickening out. I just don't know what to do with it. I got a book with patterns. I also bought a can of some kind of spray that gives a frosted glass look. Have you seen it? It's made by Krylon. I can't decide whether to use it or do the other. I bought an 8oz bottle of crystal clear gallery glass also, along with a set of 5 2oz bottles in various colors. Do you think I should maybe just try swirling the crystal clear, rather than using the colors and making a design?? I really wish you were here to help me out! I am definitely not artistic!!

Hey everyone.....Sorry I've been a non-poster lately. I have been keeping up w/all of y'all though! My life is just very uninteresting at the moment. I've been doing awfully on the diet/exercise front (as you can tell if you read my sig line). No gumption at the present.

This week-end I am helping my best friend of 20 years to celebrate her 28th birthday--the closer to 30 she gets, the worse she gets--by going to Dallas. We're going on Saturday and, I think, spending the day at Six Flags over Texas, provided the water goes away. Then on Sunday, we're going to spend the day shopping. $$

Anyway, you ladies take care of yourselves. Don't do any(more) heavy lifting, heavy cleaning or heavy painting

I know this is only Wednesday, but "HAVE A GREAT WEEK-END!!!!!" In case I'm not around again between now and then.

Cheryl

Shelley, Krylon is an excellent brand, but it is also permanent. I use the crystal clear to seal with all of the time. I'm not quite sure how you would remove it if you wished, probably a razor blade or acetone. Here is a suggestion for practicing with the gallery glass, get a piece of glass from a photo frame and mask off the size of the window panes you are trying to cover. It can be placed flat and you can place a pattern directly underneath it to paint. Did the directions say if you could make your design, allow to dry and then place on the window? I know it use to be designed this way, then you wouldn't have drips or tired arms. Did you find any preformed shapes? They are nice because then you don't have to mess around with the leading. You could place a bird, flower etc, in the center of each pane and work out with color from there. I would just practce with the gallery glass, swirling color with crystal clear like you mentioned, you could then allow to dry and see if it is going to give you the coverage your looking for.

Cheryl, sorry you have been down, I think it's going around. :-) I hope you have fun with your friend and the two of you girls behave. Don't spend too much money shopping and hurry back to fill all of us old married gals in on your weekend as a wild and single young woman!!!! HAVE FUN!

Dee, post some pictures of Dez if you can. She sounds so cute! Hmmm... I think the last pic of her I seen, she had red hair? Don't over-do it today with the testing, I am also saying a prayer for you on Thursday, I hope you find out good news.

Well, I'm off to go mow the yard today, I'll check in later this afternoon.

LOVE YA!!!!!
