Hubby is finally feeling better. I have been waiting on him hand and foot. And the kids are getting better. I am opening my windows and doors today and tell the germs to GET OUT AND STAY OUT! GRRRRR !!!!! (think i scared them away?) LOL
Well I lost 1 of the 3 pounds I gained this week. Maybe if I would be eating 100 percent on plan it would be better. But this is a new week!
I need to get hubby's paperwork finished and get back in bed. He woke me up for some lovin and now I can't sleep. But you would know he is sleeping like a baby
I am! I've missed you gals this weekend. We had a nice time in Nashville, and a very nice Father's Day celebration. Once I get the photos developed, I'll have to post some so you can see me in the new dress, etc. I did pretty well this weekend - used my flexpoints as planned on Saturday night. Sunday I was sort of medium, but still stayed within my points range - I did a 30 minute video workout to balance everything out
Crystal - hope DH liked the cherry cheesecake! My DH had a chocolate mousse cheesecake at the restaurant. It was good, but I didn't eat very much of it.
Lori - Hooray on the loss!!!! Keep up the good work . . . hope DD is feeling better very soon
Cindi - on the pound gone, gone, gone. It sounds like your new plan is very sound- I know you'll do great with it. Hope you enjoy your brief break from DH during the day

Geri - don't beat yourself up for the poor choices - this happens to each of us at times. The important thing is that you're making good choices now with the walking and all.

Oh! While eating at the steakhouse, I noticed I only had an appetite for 1/2 of the portion they gave me - I guess my appetite and hunger/full signals have really changed! TTYL

This is a new week for me today and I am going back to Phase I for the week so get my weight loss kicked off again. I am hoping for a wonderful loss this week. But I'm not peeking until my weigh in on Sunday! I just got finished a 3 mile walk and now I feel energized and pumped up!

Morning All.
I didn't check in at all yesterday. I hope everyone had a wonderful father's day.
I made the cheesecake and took it to my dh's g-parents where we all ate and it was gone before dh got a peice. I felt bad, but I told him to go get a piece and he said maybe in a minute. I have to go grocery shopping today, I may get another one and surprise him.
Anyways, my nausea is gone. Now I'm dealing with being hungry and I mean HUNGRY every couple of hours. And when I get that way, I have to eat or I'll start to feel sick and I don't want just yogurt or a popsicle, I want FOOD like a whole meal, just a few hours after I ate a whole meal. Breakfast is the only meal that sometimes still makes me nauseaus so yesterday I didn't eat very much at all because I felt sick. Then I had to leave the house early and dh's g-parents always have us over to eat around 2pm, which is horrible, my kids usually eat lunch at noon or so but if I fed them they wouldn't be hungry there and like I said I had to leave early. So I took them to get a shake to tie them over until we ate there, but I was feeling sick because I was so hungry so I got a hamburger, which I hardly ever eat anymore, this was around 1145, then we ate lasagna around 2 pm, then we ate dinner at 7pm and dh got home and ate his dinner at 9pm and I ate alittle more then. I hate it, but I don't know how else to handle it. I've been drinking quite a bit of water though.
Well, this is one busy week for me. We leave for our romantic getaway on Friday, so Thursday is my Friday, I've got to clean my mom's. Today I've got to buy groceries, go to the bank, cleaners and etc. Tomorrow, I've got to take my car to the shop so maybe Wednesday will be a tad slower.
Well, Penny, congrats on the 1 lb. Good luck with starting at phase 1 today hope it goes well.

Sorry you are so hungry all the time. Just make sure when you do eat, it is a healthy meal, if at all possible. When is your next dr.s appt? In a month?

Crystal, Dh didn't get any cheesecake For some reason it struck me as funny! I would get hungry every couple of hours during the day and would try to snack on fruit and stuff. OK, the night time was the bad time for me...ice cream, ice cream, ice cream and second helpings on dinner . Hope you can figure something out.
Penny! Congrats on the 3 mi. I only got in 2 this morning. Just not in the mood for a long workout. I know it's because I know I have a gain this week...but I'll be back in grand form tomorrow morning . I did do 3 mi yesterday and then took the kids for a bikeride for about 1/2 hour pulling them in the bike trailer. I didn't eat much of my dinner because it wasn't all that good but I also didn't take any of my Mother's onion shreds...which I LOVE. So all in all dinner was good for me. And yes, my house looks much better. The money I made will pay for a new screen/storm door between our kitchen and garage. There's an old aluminum one there now with very scratched up plexiglass duck taped to the frame (left from the previous owners) that doesn't close on it's own so every time Will goes out the door is left open! Glad the family is getting better!
Leigh, glad you had a great time. I think Nashville is a very nice town. I was there about 15 yrs ago with my bf and we had a blast!

Hello to everyone else out there! Spryng, how was your weekend?????
I got a really great nights sleep we were in bed by 8pm and I didn't get up til 7 so I'm pretty well rested. We went shopping yesterday and I got some new clothes since my others are all falling off me lol. I even got some capris that usually I think they look funny on me but I just cuffed them once and they look fine, I just have short legs so if I didn't cuff them they just look wierd lol. I got to do my weight training today too upper body that is. And I'm also going to try and finish converting our home videos and editing them.

Crystal - I know how you feel being hungry all the time, I was that way with dd #1 I just couldn't seem to be full for any amount of time. So I did just like you and ate more frequent smaller meals.

It's been a hectic week and I've been kind of OP as you probably guessed by my lack of posts. LOL, but today is a fresh start and I feel very motivated to get losing again.
Sounds like everyone had a nice Father's Day. We did here as well. I had some problems with a couple of projects I was working on for Steve, but all in all he loved the things I did get done. I also printed him out a "menu" for the day and cooked all day. We had Beef Wellington w/ gorgonzola cheese, baked potatoes and asparagus for dinner and some ice cream cake for dessert. gee, no wonder I couldn't stay on program! LOL But I wanted to have a special weekend with him, he is leaving on a fishing trip Tuesday and I wont see him again till Sunday.
I'm actually excited to have the house to myself soon. I've rented some good movies that I'd been wanting to see, but I know Steve isn't particularly interested in: The House of Sand and Fog; The Girl With The Pearl Earring; and The Magdeline Sisters.
My boys will be turning 2 years old soon, so my next project is putting together their party and invitations. I really got to get cracking on this because we will be driving down to So. Cal (6 hours away) to spend it with family down there. It's hard to plan things long-distance as you can imagine. We are having their party a week earlier, on the 18th, instead of the 26th, so this adds to my ugency.
So, I'm counting points and cutting down on bad carbs/sugar today. Wish me luck, as there is still some ice cream cake left in the freezer. I hope Steve polishes it off tonight, otherwise I will have to throw it in the trash while I'm still strong and determined.

First, I am sorry for not being around lately I have been doing alot fo thinking, too much thinking and now my head hurts LMAO.
I have also been doing alot of dancing I absolutly love my dancing and it's an awesome workout lol.
I really considered giving up this whole weightloss thing and just going back to the way I was. I'm tired of counting every little fat gram and carb ect. SOOoo, I am not going to do anymore counting lol. I know what foods to eat and I what the portion sizes should be, so I am just going eat and forget the counting.
I am now dancing 30 minutes, twice a day and when the kids go back to school I am definetly hitting the gym, especially so I can use the weight machines. I am also going to Walmart today to get new tires for my car and while I am there I am going to pick up some handweights so I can at least start toning up my upper arms. I am also going to start doing some morning and evening crunches.
I just got done doing my first 30 mins of dancing and I need to jump in the shower before getting my new tires. I have been needing new tires but have been putting it off and yesterday I had a blowout on the freeway which scared the **** out me lol.

Penny, I understand about eating healthy if at all possible, and sometimes it is and sometimes it's not. It's just what sounds good at the moment.
I'm only 5 1/2 weeks. I'll be about 6 weeks on Thursday. I know I have a long ways to go, almost a year it seems.
Well, I'm gonna go eat something.

I say you do what works well for you! Before I got pregnant with my last son I was doing the exact same thing. I just ate the foods I was suppose to and exercised! And I did great. I went from 193.5 to 159.5 doing it that way then I decided to have another baby. And I just now got back down to that now. I hope you stick with the healthy eating. And I am so glad you are doing so well with the dancing! KEEP IT UP! KEEP MOVING!

I just wanted to tell you I emailed our area chapter to check into another chapter that is local. Like I had told you before, the one I used to belong to was never supportive. But I loved TOPS and think I wanna get back into it. I just love the fact of seeing and reporting my progress. Anyhow, CONGRATS! on getting in the 2 miles! Do you do the 2 mile walk or some of the 3 or 4? How hard is the 4 mi? I want to get it but I wasn't sure. Give me your review!
