Day 19 -done! Got my walk in before DH had to start hauling off yard debris to McFarlane's
Hey - I'm almost done with my challenge - wahoo
I'm going to take a break after this one until after the fourth, then I'm really going to get down to business. I'm contemplating trying to stick to a recommended calorie range for me. I did one of these online assessments that said I should be eating between 1350 and 1550 cals/day to lose 1-2 lbs a week. I've done it a few days on, a few days off, and, naturally, have been losing more slowly. So, I may do this as a challenge to jumpstart my summer. We'll have the celebrations out of the way for awhile, and we won't be going out of town 'til August... so we'll see.
Marti - Take it easy on the wood pile, girl. Remember, you have more trees coming down, so pace yourself. I can relate to this, though. I got so caught up in spreading mulch last year, my back just totally blew on me. I ended up in urgent care begging for hillbilly heroin, which they wouldn't give me because I was nursing. Made no sense since the first time I was prescribed Oxycontin was in the hospital after a c-section. Life's little mysteries.... I bet your family is having fun celebrating Jhanai's birthday!
Scuzin - yes, a Lion I was. The place has sure changed alot since I was there. What we used to call the "old school" is now condemned, but no one's done anything with it, so it's just locked up. The big remodel happened after I graduated to the place just looks totally different. I read an article some where about RW&B ( Trib, maybe?) and it brought back a wave of memories - think I'll be making a trip out there soon to get reacquainted with the place. Glad that cra**py Value Village hasn't put it out of business. I got a chuckle out of the article, it said the owners had to get rid of the dressing room because of peeping toms!
So now customers (men, too) go in there now wearing skirts so they can try on pants discreetly. Hee Hee - I'll do a skirt count when I go....
