I just got a call from school. WE ARE AN "A" SCHOOL!!! Would you believe we have gone from a D to an A in 5 years???

Cheryl-AYP= Academic Yearly Plan (I think.) I get up at 4:30, but today I slept in until 6:30! I just got through taking a bunch of junk down to the garbage. I hope Mike doesn't discover some of the stuff that I took down there. I took some organic seed that has been sitting in the garage for 15 years. I know he is going to get mad when he discovers it missing. But if he hasn't used it in 15 years, what makes him think he's going to?? It was 2 25lb. bags! You should have seen the dirt under it!

Guess I'd better get busy doing more stuff!

Shelley good luck. I wish I could be there to help. I love doing a clean sweep. Some of my friends and relatives has asked me to help them. I am ruthless. If I haven't used it in a year it is gone. For you I would say if you haven't used it in two years it goes. Your school has done wonderful. Be proud, you are a part of it.

Doni sorry to hear about the rough month that you have gone through.

Vicki how old is your neice? My nephew will be 10 in the summer and I know when I have him down he is non-stop. That is nice of you to look after your neice.

Gayle hang in there. I know that this is a chalenge for you. Watching someone suffer, so dear to you is difficult to cope with. I am sure that you are a blessing to Nancy's family. You always seem to know what to say when. You have a very special gift. I wish that you lived near I would give you a great big hug. How is your family coping with your absence?

Sherry all the work that you have done will pay off when you move into your house. I am sure this will be one of your last moves. If you were in your home now for 12 years you aren't a drifter and now moving back into your childhood home you are there to stay. Please send me your new mail address. I don't think that you have, my mind is not all there with the drugs. The board just isn't the same when you aren't posting. It is way to quiet. I can't wait til you are all done.

Debbie are you enjoying your pool. It has been one of the coolist springs for us on record. We have only used our pool twice. Tomorrow looks promising. You haven't posted in awhile is everything ok?

Ramona how are you liking your new job now that you have been working there for awhile? Do you miss your business? How is your Dad doing? You sure raked in some good money at your sale. Good for you. Enjoy Branson with it, you deserve a little r & r.

Cheryl you could send some summer over here. I don't mind if it isn't to hot just some sun would be nice. Are you enjoying your summer? I don't like having yard sales, either but I love going to them. I am a bargin hunter.

OMG I am laughing my head off. You know that you have seen everything when you look out the window and see a nerd carring a bouquet ot ballons waving at everyone as he passes by. It must be one of the places that rents a jerk. I don't know where he came from or where he is going. This is a residential street. Good laugh though.

Dez and Larry went to Brandon University yesterday. She is registered and has all her courses set for fall. It is a 2 1/2 hour ride. I am so happy. I really am looking forward to a quiet house. Jay will probably be moving out in september. I told Larry be happy we can have sex in the middle of the day, on the dining room table after they are gone lol

I went to a ear, nose and throat specialist yesterday to please my family doctor. He wanted my ears checked because of the dizziness that I have. I didn't expect them to find anything so I wasn't concerned about it. Well now I have to go for a bunch of tests for Vestubular disorder. They need to find out what it is from. Never even heard of it before. I called the doctor's office yesterday and requested a wheel chair. It really hit me when Larry said that he misses our evening walks. I can't go because it hurts my back to much. I thought about it and decided that it was worth swallowing my pride and letting Larry push me in a chair so that we could have our walks. I am also feeling so house bound. I miss my walks with the girls in the morning. This way I could still go. I haven't heard back from the doctor's office yet about it, I am hoping that I will be able to get one.

Well this is long winded and my back is tired. Love you all.

Dee, I am so worried about you girl. You just must get to the root of all these problems soon. And don't worry about riding in the wheel chair. Just let Larry push you around the neighborhood and enjoy the sights and sounds of summer. Hope you are better real soon.

Shelley, I don't blame you for getting rid of that stuff.....15 years! If he gets mad, just tell him it had mildewed (because it probably had!!!). Have fun cleaning and painting and congrats on the school grade!

Doni, I'm so sorry for all your troubles. Sometimes it seems like the world is against you. Things will be better from now on, I just know it. Take care.

Sherry, How much longer do you think you will be working on the house? I know you must be so ready for a break. Did you go to Debbie's to swim on Monday??

Cheryl, is it raining at your house? It is rainy here today, but we really need it. Rick worked in the garden Sunday afternoon and took his shirt off. BIG MISTAKE! He is beet red and in terrible pain from the burn. I kept telling him to put his shirt on but you know men, they just don't listen!

Debbie, how is your summer going? I bet you are enjoying lounging by the pool. How is your mother doing? Will she have her new knee soon??

Vicki and Carol, how are your mothers doing? I hope better. Thinking of you both....

Gayle, Let us hear from you when you feel like posting. I hate to think of you being so depressed. You know that we all love you very much!

Tina, so glad you had such a nice vacation. I remember those trips with the little ones. But, I always needed a vacation when we got through with the vacation!!!

We had young tender squash out of our garden a few days ago. I steamed them and they were so delicious. I just love fresh veggies out of the garden. We should have tomatoes and cucumbers in a few days. Our canteloupes and watermelons are growing well also. The diet is going pretty well. Rick is determined not to go on medicine so he is sticking with it like a trooper. I have lost 4 pounds so far so it's been good for me also.

We aren't going to Branson this weekend after all. My dad doesn't feel up to it and I'm not going to leave him alone on Father's Day. So, we are just going to get in the car Saturday and go to some surrounding towns and visit some stores and shops that I've been wanting to go to for years. We'll eat at a nice place and then stop in and visit some friends of ours. Just a nice a day trip, but at least it will be away from phones and housework!

Take care everyone!

Ramona--yup! Rain, rain and more rain. Luckily I mowed yesterday before all the drizzle started. It hasn't cooled down too much here yet, though. For some reason, I was thinking (Mistakenly) that LA would be cooler, or at least less humid than northern AR.

I want some canteloupe! Can I come up there and get me one? My dad let my uncle have part of our garden space this year, and I know he planted watermelons, but no canteloupes. Nothing like some good ole melon right out of the fridge w/just a little bit of salt on it! Yum!

Cheryl-I just realized AYP-Adequate Yearly Progress.

Dee-I am so worried about you. You just don't sound like yourself. I don't understand why all of the sudden you have gotten so ill. Does your heart have anything to do with it? Please know that I am here for you and I love you.

Hi Girls

Sorry I have been MIA for a while. It has been a busy summer for me already. Glad some of you missed me!! LOL

Dee...Hope you are feeling better. Can't believe it will take that long for you to have your MRI. Hopefully it can be scheduled sooner. We have had a mild summer so far here too. Besides a few hot days, it has been cool or rained.

Ramona....Your garden sounds wonderful!! We planted everything late this year, because of trying to finish the deck. Hopefully we will have tomatoes by the 4th. I even planted some cucumbers to make some bread and butter pickles this summer.

Doni....WTG!! On the weight lost. Seems it came the hard way though. Hope everyone is feeling better now.

Gayle....My heart goes out to you and your friend. Seems Nancy and her family would welcome you to come and help has much as you wanted to. I'm sure you will make the right decision. {{{HUGS}}}

Sherry...{ Miss Paint Queen...LOL} I know you are exhausted and I worry about you. But the end product will be well worth it!! Can't wait to see all you have done. Hoping the rain holds off for tomorrow.

Shelley.....Come do a clean sweep at my house!! I could have a yard full of stuff and never miss anything gone inside...LOL. I am not a pack rat but I do have too much stuff!!!

Cheryl....I love fresh fruit too. But watermelon and cantolope aren't low carb for me.

When I left the Y this morning, I went to clean Mom's house. She is doing so much better, she follows me from room to room showing me how she wants things done...LOL. Her spirits have made a complete turn around too. She is ready to get that new knee put in so she can get on with her life. I take her back to the doctor next week, so hopefully they will give her a date for the surgery.

Vicki, Carol, Tina and Jennelle...Hope you are doing OK and having some fun this summer.

Hugs...deb

Hello Friends....I didn't go to Debbie's yesterday. It was cloudy and looked like rain.I ended up painting. She wasn't able to come help me today because she had to go to her Moms. Hopefully if it's sunny tomorrow...I'll be by her pool RELAXING!!!

I had another "Poor Sherry" moment this morning . I was painting & just started crying. I never imagined it would be this much to do! I've been doing most of it by myself everyday until wayne gets off work.We are about halfway done with the kitchen then we can lay the floor, have carpets cleaned and start moving things in. My whole body hurts.

I'm so sorry I'm whinning when some of you have worse problems. I just had to get off my chest.

Gayle....Are you ok? I'm worried about you. I love you girlie!!!

Dee...PLEASE get well soon!! I'm so sorry you're still hurting. I wish I could get on the next flight out & come to Canada and help you. Love you.

Gotta go...going to start a new thread,

Hugs & I love you all.........
