GIRLS!!!

Kinda slow here today!! where is everyone??

GOOD NEWS!!! DH GOT A JOB!!!!! He starts Monday, but is going for some training on his own with a friend tomorrow!!

MORE GOOD NEWS!!! HIS FRIEND FIXED OUR A/C!!!!!!! At least I hope so!! Looking good so far, but he just left, so we will see!!

I hope everyone is doing well. We had hotdogs for dinner since our air is messed up, so I hope I didn't completely blow it. But I couldn't cook in the heat and that's what I had. I did fine the rest of the day, and I drank water and will drink more. Wish me luck.

Back later!!

He is going to work for a Heating and Air Company. He didn't take the Home Depot job because it didn't pay enough and he wanted to work days instead of nights.

He is much happier and so am I because we can start to create a routine again and get a new normal going. Then of course there is the MONEY part of the whole deal, since we have had NONE in a while, that's icing on the cake.

Guess it's just me and you kid

Hi
This is my very first post on this site. I have been looking around and when I saw the sahm post, figured this was the place to be!! I have two girls who are currently 4, the older one will be 5 next month, and a 1 year old boy. CW is 212 and GW around 140. I think these sites are so encouraging, only problem is making time to get online without someone needing something. That is the hard part! I am trying so hard to get motivated and you are all helping so much. Thanks

I love your post about your 6 boys and 1 mean girl. My girls are making sure their brother is going to be one tough cookie. They can be so rough on him, but I know they will get there turn and they will deserve it.

How old are all of your kids?

Good evening all!

Welcome Tra!! (what is your real name if you don't mind me asking?) I am Spryng, mother of 3. Ava-4 Bubba-3 and Tanner 11 1/2 months old. My DH is an over the road truck driver so I don't get to see him much so I feel like a single mom most of the time. What diet plan are you on?? I look forward to getting to know you better!

Cindi, so glad to hear your dh got a job!! I know you are ready for your routines again. I get cranky if I'm off of mine for too long.

Michelle, did you say how you like body for life yet? (I might have missed it, lol) Turkey chili sounds great.

Well as you might have noticed I've been gone ALL day again. Spent the day with DH in Kansas City. It was fun. We took the kids to see Shrek 2... I laughed my butt off. It was soooo cute. Didn't realize Shrek was so HOT! LOL. But DH has one more load to deliver and then he will be home tomorrow. But it was nice to have today too even though he isn't here tonight.

ok, I think this instant message thing is a great idea, but I don't have AIM. I have yahoo messenger and ICQ. So for those of you that have one of these can you post your id's so I can add you to mine?? Michelle I think I had yours once before, can you post it again?? my yahoo id is spryngk and my ICQ id is sylvester

well, it's late. Didn't do too great this week with exercise or eating (was OP 75% of the time but went over a couple of the days) so I'm not expecting anything tomorrow at my WI... but I'll be sure to post it. Ok, getting in bed. TTYL!

Hi Ladies,

I was so exhausted tonight that I crashed.... but here it is .. what time ... 2 something.... So I figured I would pop in.

I had the kiddos at my moms new house today since my hubby relapsed on the stomach virus..... grrrrr...... so he has been in the bed since this morning... well actually yesterday morning since it is after midnight.......lol

Hunter had a bad dream so he came to find me... and I am on the couch b/c I don't want to catch hubby's bug.

Nicholas has an ear ache and just woke up b/c he pottied on himself. So I changed him and put him back down..... and then Andrew starts on a coughing fit. I felt so bad for him I had to go in there and pick him up. I gave him some cold and cough medicine and needless to say I woke him up......lol

I tell ya' what a night..... LOL

Spryng,
Is that not the funniest movie!!!!!! I love the part with the ladies underwear..LOL TOO FUNNY! I am so happy you got to spend some bonus time with dh! YAHHH!!!! Have fun this weekend!!!

Michelle,
Thanks for starting the new thread! Ya'll have a push mower?? Listen to me, ya'll. Can tell I am from the south..LOL Yes, do tell...... how do you like BFL??? Sure hope the girls aren't giving you fits still.

Cindi,
That is wonderful! I have been worried about hubby's job! My hubby owns his own heat and a/c bus. and I know how hot that job is. I wish him the best of luck! Has he done that kind of work before?? How did everything go with Seth???

Welcome Tra,
I am Penny.... and actually are kids are about the same age but I have all boys! Hunter, 4 Nicholas, 3 and Andrew 1. I know how it is about having time but then again..... these ladies are addicting! LOL Hope you enjoy your stay here! We would love to have you! Tell us more about you and your way of life!

I went to Wal-Mart today and got my fil a 2 seater canopy glider for father's day. It is so neat b/c each seat reclines. My mil will enjoy it too. It was $99.00 and I didn't want to spend that much but fil has a blood disease and he is disabled. He doesn't have anywhere to sit outside b/c he can't be in direct sunlight. Anyhow, I thought this was wonderful for him to sit and relax.
I got to the register and it was on sale for $75.00 so it was a little better.

I hope you all enjoy this weekend and have a wonderful time with your families!

I will get the info on the self tanners tomorrow out my book and post it!

Have a great night, well I guess morning.... LOL

Oh BTW,
Spryng,
I don't remember my handler names..... LOL But under my name on the side it has the little icons for msn and yahoo. If you click on them.... I believe it will let you add me to your list.... And I will go ahead and add you too!

And that is ditto for all you other ladies too!

Default Leigh's Morning

Good morning! Sorry I've been MIA - my mother and sister are now in town and it's harder to check in since everyone is using my computer Everything is fine here . . . it's my offical WI day! and I'm now . . . 161 lbs So, I lost two pounds total this week When my mother saw me she was very impressed . . . she claims "You must have lost a lot more than 11 pounds." Of course, she also seems to think I weighed about 130 when I got pregnant, which I certainly did not Oh, the kind eyes of a mother.

Penny - I did buy stuff at the scrap store. Only 1/2 of which I actually needed! I definitely want to hear more about your college plans . . .

Spryng- Yeah, I've only seen turkey ham with deli meats - like with the Oscar Meyer type stuff. They make Turkey ham, turkey bologna, etc. I'm glad you had such a good time in KC.

Cindi- Ohh, for you and DH with the new job! Sounds like you're doing a wonderful job staying OP Hope you have a nice, air conditioned day . . .

Michelle- hope the girls are better behaved today . . . Liam had a very bad night - teething of course! - so I already know it won't be a great day. He's already had his first dose of Baby Tylenol!

Melinda- on the 1.2 loss!!! Way to go Well, have fun the next time you do come to Atlanta . . . we're going to Nashville for Father's Day.

Crystal - I'm glad your appointment went well and everything looks good. I had a very strong feeling Liam was a boy from the beginning. We didn't find out his gender ahead of time, I just had a feeling. But, as DH likes to point out, I had a 50/50 chance of being right The eventual calorie plan sounds good.

Lisa - glad everything is going well. You're right on top of those workouts!

TRA - what is your first name?? Welcome! I'm Leigh, SAHM mom to one 7-month-old named Liam. I've been happily married for two years and am currently losing post-pregnancy weight using Weight Watchers. What program/plan are you on?

Well, I need to get ready for our walk. Check in later!

Default Playdate

We were suppose to have a playdate at 915 this morning, but I could not find my keys. I thought I locked them in the car and then I called my dh to get the on-star # to unlock my car and he had the keys in his pocket. Anyway, he is about 20 min away and he is bringing my keys. I am just waiting and we will just be late to the playdate.

I did not get a workout in this morning bc we were going to be out. I sometimes feel that JW does not get enough interaction with kids bc I stay at home. Anyway, I change my schedule for playdates and I will get a workout this afternoon.

Nothing much else planned for today. Have a great on-program weekend!

Melinda
