Wow, you are so excited Miss P i'm glad that you are doing another thread cuz i did'nt want us to just "fade away" i won't have reached my 20lbs off goal but at least i'll be posting a loss so i'm happy about that i'll post a more realistic one for the next 'challenge' one that will allow the odd off day i might have to drop out before your birthday tho' cuz the relatives arrive on 12th August and i'm sure there won't be any dieting going on then but i'll still be around to gee you on and get back to it once they're gone

That's great Miss P! I think it is awesome that you are excited to see your parents... Just one more day and they will be there... We will understand you being MIA especially since you have to wait so long between visits! BTW, thank you for the encouragement!

Sorry that I have been MIA for the last two days.... I have been trying to fix my computer here at work because it had a virus... It seems to be fine now, but we'll see...

I will definitely join you two in the "Miss P's birthday Challenge" I'm not sure what I will set my goal at yet, but I have another week to think about it...I have set my August 1st Challenge goal at 185, so maybe 179.... Hmmmmm... If I don't get to post for the first week of the new thread, don't think I've abandoned y'all.... I will be on vaca from July 3rd to the 10th I promise to be good though and get lots of exercise...The food is no promise... I may cheat...

Awesome Ladies!! I'm so glad you will join me, you have both been extremely supportive and I'm happy to be a 'loser' with you, HA!

Wow, words cannot explain how excited I am but gosh am I tired! I have doing so much laundry and cleaning, I guess this will teach me to leave everything last minute! Kent (Fiance) and I are so busy with work and classes and we get his daughter every weekend pretty much, we never to do a BIG overhaul clean up. Good thing we have hardwood floors other wise we'd probably have to get carpets cleaned, etc. God Bless the Swifter wet mop, HA! I did not go to the gym yesterday as I had to blow $150 at Costco buying munchies and cases of pop and water. I tell ya, it's not hard to spend $$$$ at that place! Tonight I'm off to do groceries and pick up stuff from the dry cleaners. So, no gym AGAIN!! I am going to try to get to the gym tomorrow before work - and then my mom and dad will be here!! WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO. I will try not to go too long inbetween posts, good luck this last week of our challenge - I know I'll need it! HA!

Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee good girlies

Miss P, I am certain that you've been burning a lot of calories with all the running around and cleaning you've been doing in preparation for your parents arrival so I wouldn't worry about it! Have a great time with your parents!!!!

Yep I agree hope you have a fabulous time.

Not much to say my best friends Dad died yesterday so i was on the phone to England this morning to give my condolences she was doing much better than I imagined and we were able to hold a conversation without her breaking down so I was happy about that. I felt homesick when i came off the phone tho' cuz its "our" girlie night out tonight and i've been thinking about her and Chris out in the pubs I told her I might not make it back 'home' again this year (was there in Feb) but i'll definitely go next year and we'll have a holiday together

Have a Great Weekend whatever you do oh and down .5lb

Miss P - I'm glad to hear you are having a good time!

Today the challenge officially ends, and since I don't know if I'll be able to post later, I will post my re-cap and look forward to reading yours.

When I joined this challenge, I was at 212# and wanted to lose 15# by July 1st to reach 197....Well I weighed in yesterday at 189.5#, which brings me to 7.5# past my goal for a 22.5# total loss!

Wow Jenn thats fantastic Well Done!

I sneaked in with another .5lb loss which puts me at an even 10lbs total loss for the challenge so much for wanting 20! but never mind its better than gaining I have'nt treadmilled for ages so I clocked up 24.75 treadmill miles for the month and I think most of them are from the first few days I can do so much better but I kind of lost the plot after my birthday hopefully i'll do better on Miss P's birthday challenge

Miss P, glad you are having a blast with your parents i'll have the same problem in 5 weeks when hubbies family come over but I can live with going to restaurants and eating out ( much better than having to cook it for them )

Jenn and Cat I am SO SO SO SO proud of you both!! I weighed in this morning at 243 pds giving me a loss of 7 pounds for this challenge. It's about half of what I wanted but no worries because now that I'm in the right frame of mind, I plan on kicking butt for my birthday challenge - or losing butt as I dream, hehe. I hope you have a great weekend and I will be starting my new post sunday night, ready for monday morning!! Hope to lose more pounds with you!!

TGIF!!!!!
