I forgot, dinner tonight is leftovers. We still have some levtover ribs and the shrimp creole from last night. I'll have to post that recipe if anyone wants it. It was very good and works out to 5 points per serving. The serving sizes are pretty big too.

Welcome Brandi! I am Candy, sahm to Sean 4 and Kylie 2. I also work full-time from home doing medical billing. We have a lot of boys around here so some girls are a welcome addition!!! Hope you find out soon @ the pg. Nothing worse than not knowing, whether you want to be pg or not! Anyhows, hope we can give you a little encouragment! This is the sweetest bunch of gals on this thread!

Geri, isn't funny how things just aren't the same after kids? I didn't watch so I missed everything, but it sounds like I didn't miss much. My DH came home really excited. He wasn't really rooting for either team but he said it was still an exciting game. Ky spent the night at MIL's and Sean was with his dad so I had the evening all to myself.

Ginny, wow, you are something else with your walks. If I had 1/10th of your determination I would have been skinny months ago!!! My problem is consistency. I am not the least bit consistent.

Spryng, congrats on getting your workout in! I actually have a pilates arm workout. It about kills me!!! 1/2 of it is on the floor and then 1/2 is standing up and you can use weights or not. I do 2 lb weights. Anyhows, I think we are just having salad for dinner. I am on the mono-diet this week (raw food only) but I may cook a "chik" pattie to cut up on theirs. The kids aren't crazy about salad so I am taking it kind of slow but I am not fixing them a separate dinner. Eventually they will get hungry enough that they will eat it!!! Sounds mean but it is for their good. My poor son was completely broken out with eczema all over his face and has a terrible time with allergies. I've got to get him healthier so he doesn't end up like me!!!

Andrea, have fun at walmart!!! I hope it is a girl too! If and when I have a third, I have no preference. It is weird because all my life I wanted a girl but now that I have her, I could be happy either way. I just think it is neat to see what they look like, do they look like one of the others or do they have their own look? I'm sure mine wouldn't have blue eyes. Blue eyes was my only request and neither of my kids have them!!! Guess my genes aren't too strong! Well, at least my cat has blue eyes!!! Ha,ha

Well, I'm gonna get off here. Ricci, I am with you. Feels like a lazy day! I'm vegging after being up until 3am last night. Then I had to be up at 9am to make a couple calls to some dr's offices for surgery codes. Yuck! Got it done so maybe I have put off my being fired for one more month!

Hope everyone has a great day!!!

I had too much junk for Super Bowl. I think John Wesley is feeling it too, as he has been cranky all day.
Since I am breastfeeding, I have not had a period, is that the norm. I would love for my children to be close in age, but my husband thinks it would be a lot of work.
In December, I started the South Beach Diet with my husband. I lost about 8 pounds and kept it off. I have not continued with it b/c I feel restricting the carbs is bad for breastfeeding. Before I got pregnant, I was at LA Weight Loss. I still have a couple more weeks with them that are already paid up. They don't recommend that I come back until I finish breastfeeding.
I am going to look into Weight Watchers. I think they really have one of the best programs.
I made it to the gym today and John Wesley was good in the nursery. It is hard for me to leave him. He has not stayed with anyone except family, so it is a big transition for me.
This is a great support group! I feel motivated already.

Meltin, you are in Charleston??? Where do you live? I am in North Charleston. My kids are 25 months apart and I think that is a really good distance, at least for them being able to play together. It is a lot of work at first but ends up being less work as they get older because they start to entertain each other. How many kids are you planning on having?

Andrea, I have blonde hair and blue eyes, as do my siblings and my dad and my DH has hazel eyes and black hair. Both my kids got hazel eyes and Kylie has brown hair and Sean has dark blonde!!! Ugh! Oh well.

Sorry, I missed chat today. I was in bed snoozing. Still feel like yuck! I think this may be more fluey and less coldish. I'm drinking lots of fluids and eating a little. I don't have much appetite.

Hope everyone had a great day. TTYL!

Good evening all!
meltin, good for you for getting to the gym! And yes, some women never get a period until nursing is over. Be glad!! And my two oldest are 11 months apart. That is really close in age but now they are like twins. They are lost without each other. And someone was talking about eye color? My kids have 3 different colors. Ava has dark brown, Joseph has bright blue (like me) and Tanner has steel grey, it's so neat. I love that they are all unique.
Candy, I never make my kids different things for dinner either. They eat what I eat. But of course I could never mono diet, you are much more determined than myself, lol. But my kids would actually like it because they love that kind of stuff. I hope your nap helped you today. I got an hour in too... felt pretty good.
Geri I'll be doing some pilates for you too tonight ok? lol. I really love it. Believe me I am one who doesn't stick to exercise but these leave me feeling so refreshed afterwards. And it is so nice to find another survivor junkie, lol. Who did you say you are routing for? I forgot.
Andrea I hope you get a little girl too! But if not you are building a nice football team for your husband, lol. I bet while you were at walmart you had to cruise the baby section and oooohhh and ahhhhh all the sweet baby things huh? (I'm still guilty of doing that)
Well dinner was great and now I am ready to settle down for the night. It's bitter cold outside and summer in here! lol. I'm running around in shorts and tanktop because it just feels so good, lol. I know I'm nuts. But that is why we have heat in the house... so we can pretend it's SPRING!
ok, I'll chat with you all later!
