Oh my gosh!! Congrats Andrea!!!!! I'm very, very happy for you. I'm with Spryng, don't worry about the weight right now. Just continue to eat healthy during this pregnancy -- one thing I didn't do too well with both of mine .

Spryng, congrats on getting your pilates in last night. One of these days soon I'm going to get back to it. I like it too. Which DVD did you end up getting?

Ginny, hopefully your Dd will pick a college nice and close to you. I was an hour away from home and loved the fact that I could go home pretty much anytime I wanted to. And, if the weather was bad on a Sunday night we would just stay until Monday morning and leave early to get there before class.

Hey Candy, sorry about the cold. Hope you can get rid of it fast!! Will & I got outside today so hopefully the fresh air will help. It's not turned into a full fledged cold yet, so hopefully it wont.

Hi Ricci ... don't let one day get you down. YOu've been doing great

Welcome back Lori!

Hi Meltin. I'm Geri, mom to 2 boys ... Will 2 and Tony 8 months. They'll be 3 and 1 in May... only 3 months away. Hard to believe!!

We'll just be chillin' during the superbowl. I'll watch for the commercials, Dh will watch the game. I don't care to watch if we're not in it. Dh whipped up a Shrimp Creole recipe that was in the paper last weekend so nothing to bad in it. Should be yummy with a side salad. I didn't buy anything to much during the game .

Hope everyone has a good evening. Tomorrow's Monday and back to normal!! No TOPS meeting tomorrow ... boring quarterly meeting and since I'm the co-leader of our chapter I have to go. I'm just not feeling motivated by that group these days and like I said I'm the co-leader ..not good. We'll see where that goes. I may just start weighing myself at home like most of you do! You guys are a better support group for me anyway

Anyway, have a good one. TTYL!

Congrats again Andrea ..... what did Dh say??????

Hi Geri!
My pilates dvd is called Crunch Pilates, it has 3 workouts of 10 min each on it for abs, butt and thighs... so you can make it a 10 min workout or 30 minute one depending on how you feel. I would have done more last night but DH called just as the abs section was done and by the time I got off the phone I was too sleepy to do anymore. But tonight I plan on doing the abs again and one other one. I am glad tomorrow is monday too! And was it you who had a bet going at your TOPS meeting of who lost the most weight during a certain time period? How is that going? When is the dead line? or is it past already?
Well of course I'm not having anything to eat for the super bowl but we are having veggie riblets and fries for dinner. I've heard good things about the bbq riblets and they look great so I had to try some. Well the kids are waking up.. TTYL!

Andrea, I am soooo happy for you. I completely understand what you mean though. As much as I want another one, I am just not quite ready right now. Of course, I wasn't ready when I got pregnant with Kylie, I had just gotten off some of my weight and only had 10 lbs left to go but oh well, things always work out. I agree with what everyone else has said about resting and making sure you are getting all the nutrients you need. If you are interested, my herbal book does have a "miscarriage prevention tea." I will scan the pages in and either email or attach them to a pm if you want. The main thing seems to be keeping yourself strong and healthy so your body can take care of the baby.

Ok, well, I'm still feeling "coldish" but I have got to get this work done before tomorrow AM. Hope everyone has a good night. I am ready for Monday too!!!

Candy, yes I'm interested. I don't know much about herbs, but if you do and you think it would be o.k., I'll def. look at it. I think that is what my main concern is. I just don't want to go through the emotional loss of a baby, even at 5wks. I guess I just need to think positive!!! If it's meant to be it will be. Well, I'd better go, Alex is sick and Dh just gave him a breathing treatment. TTYL!

Morning!
Gotta be short, as I have yet to go to work......
Andrea- congrats! That is wonderful news, and I am just so happy for you!
Do yourself a favor and get in to see your Dr soon. I lost 3 pregnancies between Ds and Dd, what a gut wrenching experience. Dd is 8 now- so maybe this is "old technology"- but during her first trimester they monitored by hormone levels (weekly blood test) and had me on testosterone suppositories- both the specialist I was using (I ended up in a specialists office because of the 3 misses) and my regular OB/gyn said they were ok. I am no MD-and as I said things might have changed considerably in the past 8 years....but it can't hurt to ask. I will pray for you!

Got my cold 8 degree walk in- but it really woke me up!!!!!!!
Gotta go get ready for today........see ya later (sorry not to get personal with everyone, I will do so later when I get back)

Good morning all!!
I am so glad it's monday!!
Did everyone have a great evening last night? Anyone stay up to watch survivor?? I watched half of it and taped the rest because I was sooo tired. And I finished it this morning. It was very good! But if you missed it it will air again this tuesday, so I won't give anything away until then I did watch the pre-show to the super bowl and was dissapointed with aerosmith... but toby keith was great! And I watched the half time show and boy was I suprised to see Justin Timberlake groping Janet Jackson and then ripping part of her shirt off to bare a breast!!!!!! I about fell in the floor. Wasn't expecting that at all. (but she did have something covering her nipple in case anyone missed it, so it didn't show everything, just most of everything ) but still... shocking, but I guess that is what they were going for.
But now all that is over and life will get back to normal. What is everyone having for dinner tonight? I think I am either having chik sandwiches or stir fry.. maybe chicken tettrazini... haven't decided for sure.
Ginny, you are such a brave woman to walk in 8 degree weather!! It's snowing here right now and about 25 degrees and I don't even want to take my trash out, lol.
Candy I hope that cold doesn't do you under. Rest up!
Andrea how are you feeling today? You know when I got pregnant with my second baby, it was just 2 months after Ava was born and I was not wanting another baby. I cried when I saw that positive pregnancy test and when I showed it to my DH he laughed like your DH did Of course as soon as I saw an ultrasound of my baby I was really happy about another baby coming but it did take some getting used to since I still had a baby in my arms at the time. Ava was 11 months old when Joseph was born. Now I wouldn't have it any other way. And of course Tanner was planned so we were thrilled to see that postive pregnancy test.
Well I need to get off of here. I hope everyone will have a great OP monday!!!

I'm back! Got my monsters safely delivered to school this am.....they were pretty good for a Monday, and that I had a spare bus.

Candy- hope you are feeling better and got your work done last night. I remember those days well, up late on the computer. Drank a lot of coffee then too!!!!!!! Take care of yourself, and hopefully you can get some rest.

Geri- did you watch the Stuporbowl? Our TV blinked out (one of the kids messed with the remote) for the Janet Jackson thing.....I don't want to go there anyway..... and I did not see much of the second half. Got a nominee for the best commercial? Are you happy with the outcome.....or were you routing for the Panthers?

Ricci- what about you? A favorite commercial- or the biggest flop? I wish they would ban movie/TV show commercial and replace them with Bud light ads......which are gross but at least funny. (guess I gave my favorites away!)

Spryng- we are having pork chops- the recipe is from the WW magazine. OR- I will join you for dinner....Love chicken tetrazini!!But I am the only one here who does.

Andrea- hope you are feeling well today.....somehow you get thru this- and I am sure love this baby already, even if he/she was not really in your plans for this time. The weight that you wanted to lose will come off sooner or later- gosh, you are not obese or anything like that and should be fine. Just hang int there- both Spryng and Michele (aka Misty, who is MIA at the moment) went all the way thru pregnancies here- and it was refreshing for all of us to hear of a different phase of life.

Guess I'd better go. Mondays are major housework day. See ya later!

Its major housework day here too, ginny. I liked the bud light commericals, and remember the dancing pepsi bears a few years ago? They were hysterical, and I was glad pepsi brought the bears back. My boys loved the commercials with the monkeys in them, and the AOL/OCC commericials were pretty good. Oh, yeah, and the game wasn't bad either. I did see the half time show, and the end of it, I was going did that just really happen? The network wasn't expecting it, and there have already been lots of complaints this morning.
Its raining here right now, its supposed to snow later, and on wednesday and friday, and they are talking snow on sunday too. A fun week ahead for me. I know its the weather, but right now I am feeling sooooo lazy. Don't want to do anything, but if i don't, it won't get done. At least I don't have to clean my bathrooms today.

Hello everyone! I'm a new member-- my name is Brandi but I'm in Georgia hence the name. I am a stay at home mom to two little girls (2yrs old and 7mos old). I am currently down in the dumps about my unsuccessful weight loss attempts but not going to give up just yet! Congrats on the pregnancy by the way!! I am actually a little concerned that I may be pg as well-- with two still in diapers I think I would have a nervous breakdown if I am. Hopefully I am just PMS-ing right now. Sorry if TMI!! Anyway, just wanted to say hello!

Hello again!
Ok, I promise this is my last post until nap time. I need to get some major housework done too.
I didn't see any commercials this year during the SB... but I'm sure they had some good ones.
Ginny, I will save you a plate! LOL, come on over for dinner! I think I have decided on the chicken tetrazzini, just sounds really good. It is from my cookinglight magazine, I got it off their web site.
Well I did get in my ab workout last night and a tough weight workout. Since pilates doesn't really target upper body I have been doing alot of free weights. While I am watching tv I lift my weights. I got a good workout from that. Today I plan to do my ab workout again and something to go with it but haven't decided yet.
Well I guess I should get off of here now. Duty calls, lol. TTYL!

Welcome Brandi!! We were posting at the same time I am Spryng, mother to 3 (Ava, 4 Joseph 3, and Tanner 7 months, like your baby!!) What have you been trying to do to lose weight? Any specific plan?? I have been on weight watchers for the past 4 1/2 months and doing great on it. I was one of those who had tried everything out there to lose weight and even though I'd get some lbs off I hated the diets and the restrictions, etc. And WW has been the only diet where I can have all of my favorite foods and still lose on. Why do you think you are pregnant right now? Missed a period? I hope you find out soon and then if not you'll be able to find a weight loss plan that works for you! I can't wait to get to know you better and please feel free to post often, we all love to chat here

Good morning all

Welcome Brandi! I'm Geri, mom to 2 boys, Will 2 and Tony 8 months. I hear you about 3 in diapers!! I would go absolutely nuts too!! We won't be having 3 My Dh & I are both 40 now and he just had his vasectomy in December If you are PG, just stick around here and we'll try to keep you sane

Spryng, congrats on all the workouts!! Do some for me! Actually, I'm getting back OP starting today It's been about 2 weeks and I have to knock it off! I'm sure I'm probably up about 2-3 pounds, but now I'll just have to work that much harder to get it off. I've had about 40 oz of water already this morning plus my coffee ... so I've spent most of the moring in the potty .

Housework ... got the kitchen floor cleaned (majorly dirty ), my hair vac'd up from the bathroom floor, and some general straightening today.

The superbowl ... saw most of it but didn't really care about it. With the kids around, I don't get to pay too much attention to the tv anyway. I saw the halftime show but missed the Janet Jackson exposure. They were talking about it on The View this morning. Joy Behar actually had a fake boob over her clothes and someone exposed her It was pretty funny 'cause I had no idea what they were doing!! I thought it was her real boob The first half of the game was soooooooooooooooo boring. I just wanted it over because I'm a major Survivor junkie! I stayed up til the end Spryng. I thought for sure the vote was going to go the other way (no specifics in case anyone's waiting to watch it on Tuesday). Wonder who'll get the fire going first??? Isn't Sue just a ..... I can't even think of a name for her! She's from WI you know .... great role model! Idiot!!

Candy, how's your cold? Mine's pretty much gone. Guess the aromatherapy did the job!! I'm a believer now.

Andrea, Ginny, Ricci, Lori, MIssy ... anyone else I may have missed!! Have a great rest of the morning. I'm going to try to chat this afternoon!! See you there.
