Daisy, could you talk ot your Dr. about it? Maybe he/she would be able to help oyu with that. I don't know anything about that. But WW encourages whole grains, and that is good for diabetes, as is portion sizing, eating friuts and veggies. Just a thought. Well, today was my first day back OP and I did it!! I'm rally happy, tomorrow I will do it again.

Default Happy thursday!

Wow, I feel like I have missed so much!
My hubby is back to work...yes, the army gives 9 months off, but I could tell he "needed" to go back to work, and after 7 months home, I "needed" him to go back too....ALTHOUGH, check this out, he can go back for 6 months and then get leave for 9 months again, which will work out perfectly for when I have the baby...so, we are deciding if he will or not...I can see him taking a month or two, but THATS IT...
ANywho, Diana 9 months already...wow, time is flying....Ryan is already 7 months and my oldest son is ALMOST 3-plus, I am now 11 weeks.... wow, I cant believe it.
I think WW is a GREAT way to get the weight off after a baby...it is normal eating that you can do anywhere and fits a busy lifestyle...
Anwho, Glad to hear everyone is doing well!

Cathy, grat to see you back!!! How was your trip? I was thinking about you yesterday when I was watching Coronation Street (it was a good one). and here you are, back from there!! Hope you have a good sleep.
Leanne, that sounds really good what the army gives him. Too bad other jobs don't. Wow leanne, Ryan is growing up too! And how are you feeling now that you're further along in the pregnancy?
Gotta go, have lots of packing to do and have to exercise first!

Morning Girls,

Diana, The trip was good had lots of fun with my little grand-daughter she has 10 teeth now and a little more hair quite the character too we were on a bus and she stands up and starts whispering in the ear of the woman in front of us who thought it was very amusing Coronation St was good was'nt it..that Tracy is a bad girl

Leanne, Wow what a lot of leave your hubby gets had to laugh about the part where he WON'T want to take all that time off with the newborn tho'

Daisy, I lost 30lbs+ on W.W. in '97 too..wish i'd stuck to it the thing i like about it was that no food is a bad food and if i wanted a choc bar i could have it..it just meant there was less pts for anything else

I've still got to unpack yet but a gals got to get her priorities right after all i have'nt been online for 2 weeks

So I am NOT the only Coronation street watcher?? ( I have to blame my mom for me watching it...) I love the story line...BUT, I went on their web site and I forgot that we are 6 months behind so I "accidentally" read what happens and of course 2 hours later I read all the episodes....
It is so weird with my hubby back to work....good though. He gets to come home for lunch so he is never gone too long, BUT he already found out that he has to go away for a few days and in April go away for a few weeks...I am trying not to get anxiety over it...but, it makes me somewhat nervous, but I keep reminding myself...woman do it ALL THE TIME...take care of 2 or more kids...so if they can do it, so can I- its just a matter of me getting used to it,right??
Okay, time for me to go get my son from school.....ugh, it is SNOWING here today.........yuck!

Hey Leanne, i always know the storyline too and it gets totally confusing when i go back home and see future episodes but i always figure it out

Managed to get quite a lot of cleaning done yesterday still got the top floor to do and of course lots of laundry, even though its clean i feel like i have to wash everything again before it can go back into my closet i make work

Currently drinking my first pint of water added some fresh squeezed lime juice so not so bad not as good as the pints of lager that i've got used to though

That's funny htat we all watch Coronation St betya that not all threads are so lucky!! Okay, I missed it or something, did Tracy and what's his name do anything that night? She's a little witch! I hadn't watched for a while but now I'm back into it.
Leanne, you will survive those few weeks! But it will be qutie an adjustment. My DH left me for 2 months but came home every weekend, not the same I know, but it was something to get used to as well, and then you have to get used to them being back. Weird.
Cathy, you're doing good with your water and the cleaning too. I did lots yesterday as well as I can't stand to come home to a dirty house. Seeing as we'll be gone 2 months, I'm sure there will be lots of dust, but at least I won't have left a mess.
well ladies, I'm down 1 pound this week. I've been the same for 3 weeks or so and now I'm finally down. That makes me happy, oh I can't forget to change my signature.
Well, I have more surfing to do and some last minute packing.

Don't think Roy's got it in him Diana i taped yesterdays episode and you've just reminded me about it so i'm watching it as we speak, so to speak Nothing happened but she's making it look as though it did and her Mum is giving her **** for playing such a rotten joke on Roy because they caught him trying to sneak out of the house and wanted to know from her what the heck was going on where are you going to Diana? i don't know if i've forgotten or if i missed you telling us if its any consolation the last time we were gone for 5 weeks the dust did'nt seem any worse than 2

Hi Ladies

I feel like I have had No time for myself the past few months, I can BARELY fit in time to workout, but that is okay seeing as I am busy busy busy all day long...I take the boys out for walks whenever I can BUT, I cant always find time to even get a shower...hmmm...I guess this is still pretty new to me, since my dh went back to work ( 2 days ago) I havent really developed my own routine yet, so I bet that will take another week or two to get in the swing of things...it is just kind of frustrating...
my baby has been waking in the night, crying so hard...and he never cries nor wakes up, I hope THAT changes QUICK...as you can see I am feeling somewhat stressed today.....it is SO cold out, I think I will go to the gym (if I can) and get rid of some anxiety...(it is SO COLD HERE..)
Okay, a small vent...sorry, but thanks!

Hi Ladies,
I've been away. I'm at my sisters now so I have access to the web again.

I've joined TOPS here and we'll see how that goes. I'm sure it will be good. I've been exercising here too.

Leanne, hope that baby gets back to normal soon. That kind of thing is not fun! Hope the weather gets better so that you can take your boys out again soon. You ahve to take time for yourself and it' won't be long until you'll get the routine going again.

Cathy, hope you've been working out lately!! and if not, get to it girl!!! I know how you feel with your addiction, I'm in some serious withdrawal

HI ladies

Well, FINALLY my baby slept through the night last night.....YAY!! I think the problem was that he was not feeling well AND hungry...SO, I started to give him cereal before bed and it seems to have dont the trick.........*fingers crossed*
We are going to the in-laws house on Friday and coming home monday which is just enough time to spend there before I go NUTS...although that means I have laundry and some packing to do the next 2 days!
Anyways, it is cold nut SUNNY here today so I am going to take the boys out for a walk a little later!
Diana- do you like TOPS?? Keep up the good work exercising!
Kathy- do you have fitness equipment at home??
Have a great day
Leanne
