Shelley if it makes it to 66 here for the day time high that would be above normal. Actually I think that it will be that today. I love to hear about the weather everyone is geting. The only temps that I have on my weather channel is for Tampa, Florida, Vegas and maybe a couple of other but the only one that I know someone living near is you Shelley. Your weather must be like Tampa, right. You are so close. I alway look to see what kind of weather Tampa has so I know what kind of a day you are going to have. I guess weather is important to me because I love to be outside and get gets darn cold here. We are just above freezing this morning.
Gayle I hope that you are learning and enjoying your course. I can't wait for you to post some of your new creations.

Vicki I know what you mean about losing your post it is a bummer when that happens.
Yesterday I went for my scheduled pedicure. It felt so good even though I didn't really feel like going. After that I went and bought new runners. My were badly worn and I needed a new pair. I am going to give them a shot this morning and see how they feel. I procrastenate when buying shoes because it is hard to find the right pair. I have a size 6 1/2 foot that is wide with a small heal. I go to a specialty shoe store that fits you. I took 1 1/2 hours to find the right shoe. Of course when you find the right shoe do you think that when it wears out you can just replace it. NO, they stopped making that one. Now I have to get going and find myself a polyester bathing suit for aqua fit. It is the only type of bathing suit that the clorine doesn't kill. I go to aqua fit right now with a bottom from one bathing suit and a top from another. They definitely do not match! I am just to lazy to go across the city to get a new one.

The weather here will be around 68 today and around 70 tomorrow. The nights are VERY cool. I'm glad that you got new running shoes and enjoyed the pedicure! BTW: Will you post your menus on the Challenge Thread please?

Are you ready for this? I had to interview a prospective clinic aide yesterday. The principal said that I am such a whiner and never satisfied, so it was my job to interview! We might be hiring her. I really wanted the one back that we had 2 years ago, but they put her in a classroom and won't take her out, even though she would rather work in the clinic. I really don't like this job!!
Did you all miss me????????? I MISSED you guys!!!!! We got back late last night, so I waited until this morning to check my messages. I had 189 in my home email and 34 in my yahoo email!!!!!!!! Looks like I'll be busy for awhile!
The class was fun and exhausting at the same time. We had two days from 8 in the morning until 9 at night, with most of it painting time. The last day, we went in at 8:30 and was handed a sealed envelope, inside contained 2 boards that we were to reproduce on our boards. I painted my test boards from 9:00am to 1:00pm, 4 straight hours!!!! This was not using a pattern for placement, everything was free hand. I did fair, not as good as I could of, I was nervous, it was freezing in there and my fingers were like icebergs, plus the test boards are very dry and porous and soak up all of the paint so one never gets the free flow with the stroke. All in all, I'm happy I went, not exactly what I expected, but I did learn alot. It will be 4-6 weeks before I know if I pass certification, at that time if I pass, I will be a OSCI (One stroke certified instructor)
I did meet up with a few ladies on the internet about two weeks before class time, it was fun putting a face with a name and helped with the first day jitters of being in a class with over 80 people! We met the night before and kinda got to know each other. I found a few new friends, but I must tell you, it is nothing like the friendship I have created here with you guys!

Shelley your principle does not seem easy to work for. Is it possible for you to find another job? It is such a waste to be unhappy for at least 40 hours a week. I feel for you. My house is my castle and I would have a hard time with having someone hang around when I didn't like him. Can you talk to Mike about it and maybe when they are done their buisness he can send him on his way. Tell him that he has plans now.
Sherry is that your average day temps? I thought that your temps were similar to mine in fall except a few degrees higher. I don't post my menus because I am too lazy and I don't know what I am eating til later. I guess I could post it the next day if I remember. I know that you asked before and I was going to but I kept putting it off. Besides that I don't always eat on program. I am in a sweet binge right now. Too much stress and if I am not thinking about one thing that is bothering me I am finding the food monster. By the way does Wayne work most saturdays? How does he like the job?
Carol are in away in the Bahamas? My girlfriend that I flew with to Jamaica has a friend that is working on construction there. His wife is finally moving there in two weeks. Cindy is going to fly down there with her when she moves. The wife has been there for the last few months, but she came home the other day to pack up everything and finalize the deal on the sale of their house. Larry is so jealous.
Ramona are you doing ok? Are you counting the days til Dan leaves and wishing you could turn back the clock? I am sure that I would be stressed to the max knowing that he is leaving. I think with anti-depressants it takes about two months before you know if it is working. Hang in there. Keep losing that weight you are doing great.
Vicki I would love to see some pics of some of your scrapbooking. I have done a few albums of some trips that I went on. It is so much fun.
I better run it is Jay's 20th birthday tomorrow and we are celabrating it today. I am cooking his fav's and I need to wrap his gifts. Last night we shopped with Dez and kept her busy and out of trouble as long as we could. Now I have the job of wrapping as she is at work and Larry is gone to get some work done on the car.

well im happy to report i got my 2 month evaluation,
ive lost a total of 26 pounds and 12 inches in 2 months!!!!
im so excited!
ive reached my 1st mini goal!!!!!
starting on anouther one.

so im starting to get myself caught up so i can do the christmas thang.

ive got to do some yardwork,spend sometime in the shed and move some rooms around!

Well, Mike's partner is over right now and I think they are discussing going out of business. I'm not sure what's going to happen next. As you know, he can't really get a regular job because of his back problems. I wish he would go back into the computer repair business and maybe open a store front. I really think that he could make it work, because he is an excellent computer tech. He can't really continue doing air conditioning by himself because he doesn't have the certifications necessary to do it. Keep me in your prayers. I'm not sure what is going on, but it would be great to have his partner not be around here!

Shelly: Could mike setup a computer repair business from your house? I know of a few around here that do it that way. Then they either repair in their home if it is going to take awhile or even do the repair in the persons home or office if it's going to be something fairly easy to do. He could also go out, get people setup with internet access, then give lessons??? I know for myself, it was really nice having a guy come out and explain everything to me when we first set everything up. Good luck to you two, on a good note, you might not have the buddy hanging around any longer.

Hi to everyone else and happy Monday.
Dan leaves in 13 days. There was a deployment ceremony last Friday and it was very nice. All of the soldiers signed a yellow ribbon and the it was tied around a tree at the Veterans' Park. When they return, the ribbon will be cut up and the section with that person's name will be given to the family. We found out that his group will be doing convoy escort duty. That is the most dangerous assignment. That is where most of the soldiers have been killed by land mines and rocket propelled grenades.
We are having a big cookout the night before he leaves with all of his friends and our family. It will be bittersweet.

Sherry that is a hot one for you today. Is that normal temps? I don't think so......right cause Debbie closed her pool. It has been warm here too. Aound 65- 70 and a few warmer days especially last week.
Today was a busy day. Barely home til supper time and then we went out again. I got a new pair of runners last week that gave me blisters os went back and got another pair. Took Dez to the docors today. She needed a few tests done. Rushed home to make dinner so we could go out and do aqua fit. When we got to the pool it was closed because of fouling. So we ended up mall walking. I walk this morning with my friend but was geared up to do something so that's what we did.
