Hi ladies,

Kaycee - OMG! Welcome back!!!! (I was worried about you - check back at the mid-to late August threads!) Anyway, so glad your computer is all better. Weekends in the hills sound so nice. We don;t have horses out here in the boonies, but some of our neighbors do. They require daily care and can get expensive, but are so much fun.

Marti - I looked at all the sweet babies, too! Do you go to school everyday? So far I love the camera, and found out how to take and print pics but that's all.

Elle - Thanks for the kind words about Caylin. New babies look kind of like aliens until they fill out a little! Even the smallest clothes are too big for her.

My day has been spent so far goofing around withthe camera and trying to get pics sent to the baby's other grandma in Texas. Maybe I will just get a CD made at walmart since I know how to do that, lol.

Be good!
Jana

Talking Hi Ladies, I'm Baaaaack!

WOW, so much going on since last I posted, where to start?

CONGRATULATION'S Grandma Jana! Caylin is adorable! And what a pretty name. How do her big sisters like having a baby sister? WTG on getting the camera and have fun with it.

Angie, glad to hear your surgery went well and HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you and your family! Seems kind of odd saying that when ours is a little over a month away. I did a double take when I saw the mention of Thanksgiving. Also, CONGRAT'S on getting the job!

OMG Kaycee! So very glad to see you back and that is was indeed just a computer problem. We definitely have missed you.

Marti, sorry to hear about your friends mother, that is scary and it does make you think about things. Glad she pulled through and is fine. Your DD sounds very mature for 9, you must be so proud. I love her name Jhanai, such a pretty name. I know you will ace your next test. I always hated accounting and barely scraped by, so getting a tutor is a good idea. I almost had to take it last fall but they changed everything the second semester so I got away with that. I did take a business math class. Sending you some good vibes. : :

Well, as for me between the allergies, the back going out and my shoulder and arm I haven't done so well as far as keeping up with the exercise. I gained a few pounds but think I have lost a pound or two this week. I am slowing getting back on track. Not a lot I can or want to do when I am feeling like crap. My arm and shoulder were actually fine till I went to the dr to get that darn shot, it has been hurting since. Anyway, my body got used to exercising, went from 5-6 days a week to almost nothing and it is aching from not exercising. I am better and once I go back and get that ibuprofin (sp?) I will be better, that and another trip to the chiro.

Anyway I hope everyone has had a great day. DH took a day off from work today (a much needed break!) and we spent the whole day together. It was so nice. I can't remember the last time we did that. We had a date night once a week and I can't remember the last time we did that. Poor man works so hard. I better get off this thing before I get started again! I am going to see the babies again, they are all cuties!

Take care ladies and HI to Kat, Carree and anyone else I missed.

Hello girlies-

Jana- yes, I do go to school everyday. Two classes a day. Not too bad. Should be doing better than what I'm doing. But it's getting better. I got an A on my Business English Exam. And I'm feeling good about taking the Word 2000 exam tomorrow. It's just that Accounting class I worry about. I've already registered for next term. Looks more complicated than this!!

Kayecee- How you doing? So glad to see you're back. Horses.... I've never owned a horse. My friend back in high school had one though, it was the first and last time I rode on one. We went bareback riding up her road, I was behind her since I had no idea what to do.... and the horse got spooked and started bucking... just a little.. and we started laughing and laughing... we couldn't stop and the more we laughed the more the horse bucked, which didn't help any....then I slid right off the horses butt!!! I sat on the ground laughing when all of a sudden I bursted up and started running towards the house, my friend thought I was hurt and yelled for me.....I turned and said "I was laughing so hard I peed my pants, gotta change!!" She started laughing some more... that's my experience with a horse!!

Michelle-I hope you get caught up with everything. Like to hear how you're doing.

Angie- How are feeling?? Good I hope.

How is everyone doing with being OP? I don't feel like I'm doing well at all... I think with school, and my grandmother, and a bunch of other doodly going on in my life, I've been not concentrating on it very well!! I have got to pull my head out of the clouds and concentrate on me!!

Well, I've gotta to do some last minute studying for my exam tomorrow. You all take care

Marti

Cristie- You posted while I was typing!! Always good to hear from you!!!!

Talking Hey Y'all!

Well, I hope everyone had a good day. I had duty today and I am beat! Overall, though, no blood + no deaths = good day.

Janna- Are you gonna post some more pictures if you can figure it all out? BTW my little girl has the same name but we spell it Kayelin- it is a combo of my middle name (Kaye) and my BIL's middle name (Lin). Her first name is Vallory and that is what we call her. DH and I are big on family names. My daddy, brother, and father-in-law's first name was James so we hit all bases and Landon's (DS) first name is Jaymes. (We spelled it a little differently.) We got a lot of good gifts cuz we were able to tell each one that we named the kid after them. LOL I missed some of the threads, so is this your son's or daughter's baby?

Marti- I can feel for you. I got my BSE in education 15 years ago then went back to school a few years ago to get my certification in a reading program. Tough year! I was glad to get it over with, then, dumb me, I signed up last week to get my National Certification. I wouldn't go back next year, but this means a $5000 raise. I can kill myself for one measley year to get that kind of raise. (I won't have to pay for the training, so it is an even better deal!) How much longer do you have to go? BTW I loved the horse story! Too funny!

Angie- Hope you are feeling better. Yeah, the Thanksgiving day thing kinda wierded me out too! I thought I was looking at last year's thread or something and had to check the date four times.

Cristi- I'm jealous. What does your DH do? Mine finishes concrete.... his free time is in the winter and since I teach mine is in the summer. It is kind of tough for us to schedule vacations. What did y'all do- or should I ask? *snicker*

Hey to anyone else I missed. I'm glad you gals remembered me. I may not get to post for a couple of days. My Avon order will be in tomorrow and it will take me a while to sort everything out. I will also spend a while packing everything for the our excursion to the hills for the weekend. Hope everyone has a wonderful day tomorrow. Night all!

Hey ladies...

Hope everythings good for you all.

Angie...sounds like surgery went well. Im glad to hear your not in any pain.
And Happy Thanksgiving by the way! I wish I could be home to celebrate it with my family. But nooo....I have to wait until next month!
I know what you mean about the training. When I started my last job, I had to do tow weeks of training at the Seattle store, plus 4 days in California at the head office. I left with a butt load of paper and training material.
Its good that you get to enjoy the perks of the job. Im sure all those new clothes make it all worthwhile.

Jana...Yayyy! She got a digital camera. Hubby and I just bought a little cheapie one too. I needed it to get all my junk listed on ebay. But it has been used for one or two pics of the dogs too!
So, how's the baby doing? Is she home now? How are the twins settling into sisterhood? She is such a little cutie...but youre right..there were a few on there that looked like little aliens.

Marti...OP you ask??? Personally not doing that well. I havent been to the gym in ages. Eating has been ok. Im not perfect by far, but Im not gorging on junkfood. So Im kind of maintaining. I havent weighed myself in ages, and dont plan to! Not until I get back to the gym.
Im sorry to hear that you flunked the test. Getting a tutor is a great idea, and Im sure it will make a world of difference.
Good luck on the next one!!
Can I get Jhanai's autograph now, maybe I can sell it on ebay in 20 years and make a fortune!!!

Kaycee...good to see you!
No horse advice for you. The biggest animal I ever owned was a German Shepherd. Are you shopping around for one, or have you found one? Owning a horse sounds like alot of fun, but alot of work. Keep us updated.

Christie..nice to see you to! If it makes you feel any better, I havent been to the gym either, and I have no medical excuses. Are you able to go now? I just like to keep in mind that it not like Im NEVER going back....just not right this second.

Well, the hubby is still hurtin pretty bad, and making life rough around here. He gets mad when he cant do things fast enough, so his temper is flaring. I help him as much as I can, but just generally try to stay out of his way. I hope that doesnt sound bad. Im just getting frustrated with his temper tantrums. He finally has an appt with the doc that did his last surgery, and is getting an MRI tomorrow.

My little ebay and amazon business is running full force, and doing better than I expected. I listed a book for $3.99, and it sold for $41!!! I listed two other sets of books by the same author, one at $33.99 and the other ar $29.99. One went for $138, and the other for $178!!!!!! Also sold a box set of Beatles CDs for $225. So...cant say that Im not earning my keep this month!!!!
Im am definintely hooked.

Well ladies..gotta get some housecleaning done. Ive been neglecting it, and have to climb Mount Washmore once again. If Im not back soon, send in search and rescue!

Take care of yourselves....

Michelle
