Quick one since I am flat stack busy. I'm feeling back to 100% again but that will change after 31st when the 3rd chemo is due. I have a to do list of about toilet roll proportions. I also have a runny nose and a sore throat. Nothing bad, just annoying. Taking remedies and soothing lollies to ease the symptoms. DS2 had it last week and it took two days to go away. Mine will also I guess
Still hot and humid here. I'm sweating profusely. I can just about see the grass growing but it is too wet to mow as yet. Might have to employ a horse to mow it down before taking to it with the mower. Top to bottom cleaning in the kitchen is done. Now onto the dining room, but before I do that, I have to finish the taxes which I will do next - before the accountant yells at me again. Forgive the no personals. I'll get back to that asap. 3 more things to take off todays list and then make a new one for tomorrow. Gotta hit it while I feel good, because after next Friday I won't be feeling so good for at least another week. See ya |
Morning all. TGIF.
Hi Shad. Glad to hear you’re back to 100%, except for now you have the cold symptoms. :( Hope they don’t develop into anything severe – don’t overdo on that toilet roll length to-do list! – Oh lawn mowing season, can’t wait. I don’t even do it but I get to live it vicariously through bf. Lucky me. Annie, don’t get sidetracked into doing anything today other than getting your rest and getting over that !@#$ crud going around the family. Hellos to the rest of you. Have a great weekend. :) == I did a BE workout yesterday. Bf went to the new Mariano’s grocery store yesterday and thought it was great. We had some pub burgers from there, cooked on the Griddler and they turned out great. It’s in the 60’s now and I’ll definitely get out at lunch as I have an errand to run. It’ll likely be very windy out there, since the wind will bring in the forecast temps in the 70’s. I’ll enjoy that warmth today. :sunny: It drops back down a bit tomorrow. No plans this weekend, but plenty to do around the house, as usual. |
Morning girls,
Nobody in yet? Is it Saturday and I missed a day? I don't think so. Today and Sunday I have no plans but I should not say that out loud. I have to get my act together as I am leaving in 10 days and with so much running around this week I have not gotten much done. Trying to avoid the usual oh man I am SO BEHIND syndrome. Just got a call, got to run out to the shelter and pick up some supplies for the shoe drive - told you I should not have said anything out loud. Went to the doctor yesterday. We had a good talk, I really like her as she takes the time to actually listen to your concerns. She said that there isn't much in the way of treatments for osteo arthritis but they wanted to first rule out other possibilities for my intense and constant body pain. They took xrays of my ankle, knee and both hands. They also took a ton of blood from me for various tests. I was not prepared for labs so I was rather dehydrated as I usually am. Took 3 pokes to get it all out of me. My body does not like to give up the red stuff. We will see what they have to say. From there I ran to the thrift shop to fix the afternoon worker's error. People are just ringing stuff up wrong on the cash register this week. Then I had to head back to bingo. We had fun last night - alot of laughing and joking among the volunteers and the participants. It was a good night and the jackpot did not go so we made a few dollars yesterday. It was just me and Dave since my partner is still recovering from the viral pneumonia so we had to work extra hard. I was really tired when I got home and ready to go to sleep at 10:15 after the weather report which is odd for me. I did stay up a bit later though. Today I need to organize myself and make sure I have everything marked on the calendar I need to deal with the next week. And mark down those things like enter the daily sales and make a poster for the shoe drive - stuff I keep forgetting about. DH found the cover for his new truck was ripped so he's at the dealer getting it fixed. He hasn't come back with a rental car so I guess he's waiting there for them to fix it. Gives me some time her by myself which is good - I'm always more productive alone. Shad - sounds like you are marching double time to catch up on things around the house. Don't wear yourself out. Do I need to send the scythe to mow the tall grass? That's the downside of getting the rain you so desperately needed. Hope it doesn't wake up the mossies too. Laura - yep, it sounds like you have the makings of restless syndrome at work. Is there another area you could possibly transition to rather than leave the company outright? Seems like you have great benefits and there are the seniority perks which are the hardest to give up. I've been at several companies in my career for almost 10 years and I also transferred to different positions by either choice or solicitation. I found a renewed energy getting something different - although their is always the high risk of getting a dud for a boss. I'm sure you wil carefully consider your options before you make a move. Based on your comment about the snapper - I too have noticed the last few times I made it, it was not as good as years back. Not a good thing to remove the flesh before you cook it - it aids in flavor and protects the flesh as you cook it. Coming from a person who used to ask the fish monger to remove the skin from the salmon before she bought it. I know better now. I also read an article where unscrupulous places sometimes substitute a lesser quality fish for the more expensive snapper :rollpin: My favorite recipe for any baked whitefish is to put a bit of butter & lemon juice, salt and pepper and paprika if desired. In a separate glass measuring cup melt 2 tablespoons of butter, mix in 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs and a generous amount of parmesan cheese. Mix together and top the fish with that. Bake at 350 for a thinner fillet or 400 degrees for a thicker chunk like cod for 15 - 25 minutes - just until the fish is glossy and starts to flake. It's baked fish but with the slight crunch of the breadcrumbs it feels decadent. Everyone loves it. I hope Margaret Richards can get her BE program going again though I wonder what the new updated version would be like. Anne - hope you can rest this weekend and let your meds do the good work of making you healthy for vacation. Hellos to Susie, Ceejay and Dee. Have a good weekend everyone. |
Morning
Mowed the backyard yesterday afternoon which took about an hour. Opted not to go to the gym this afternoon as thunderstorms are moving in this afternoon. Kind of like Laura in that I'm a bit blue for some unknown reason. Being outside yesterday really helped. But now I'm cooped up inside again. Happy I'm curious as to what your doctor finds out about the arthritis and how she will treat it. Going to talk to my doctor about it Tuesday. Susie You definitely deserve some down time. Laura Hang in there. Maybe you can transfer out of this department soon. Sounds like you are read for that cruise. More later. I'm getting hungry! |
Last one out and first one in.
Not much on the agenda today. Going to eat lunch with sis and bil in around noon at Braum's, my favorite place. After this I'm not sure what I will do.--may go to the gym. Haven't been in over a week. Woke up this morning to pea sized hail hitting the window. We've needed the rain. Enjoy your Saturday. |
Afternoon all.
Happy - Did you get your calendar all set for the coming week? == Congrats on your raffle win!! How fun. == Thanks for the fish recipe. I like light flaky white fish, but I just read that most of the tilapia comes from China & who knows about anything coming from there. Have to be careful. Wonder if we just have to buy our fish from the local fishmonger- unless we can see the country of origin on the stuff at the grocery, both the "fresh" (previously frozen and then thawed) & the frozen. Ceejay - Nice you got some outdoor time the other day. But plenty of rain too - same here. Kind of dreary lately. == Did you get an ice cream treat from Braum's? :D. I haven't had any ice cream in a while, trying not to keep it in the house. The local place wasn't open during the winter but I think it's open now... Did two BE workouts yesterday and one today. Some laundry. That's about all aside from reading & tv. My federal tax refund was deposited in my bank account, yay for that. That's about it for me. Gonna rustle up some lunch. Enjoy the rest of you day. |
Monday Morning is Here. 5 days til vacay!! HAPPY, HEALTHY-getting there, GRATEFUL and BLESSED!
Weigh in was the same as last wee. I will take it. I think maybe due to all the meds and crap I didn't have a chance to lose much. Especially with the codeine in the cough syrup, probably sugary and throwing me out of keto off and on. WHo knows, I am not stressing. I do know the closer you get to goal the harder it is to lose. So I am still 178.6. Hopefully I will do better this week and also no cough syrup altho I have the rest of the week for the augmentin antibiotic. Only thing I did on Friday was my banking then came home and paid bills on line. Just laid around and rested. Tried to sleep but I am not a napper nor can I sleep in the daytime however I rested. Saturday was a bit of running. I went to meeting as I GOT MY 18 MONTH TOKEN of sobriety. Proud of that one. Sometimes I think, I don't smoke, drink, or eat, what the h*ll is fun in life, well glad you asked, life itself and my gbabes. They do get on my nerves now and again so I just go to my room and shut/lock the door. Sunday was church, lunch at Blueberry Hill Pancake House. Home for the afternoon to rest. C worked on Sam's car then off to work. All is good. A friend of mine I work with and also went to HS with stopped by to meet Bruno. She will be taking care of him at her house while we are on vacation. Sass is going to my brother's/SILs house for the week. Work will be crazy this week. We have to migrate our Outlook contacts into Salesforce system for marketing purposes. A little bit of work on that part before migrating can be done. Hope to get mine done early so I can relax the rest of this week. Friday the 31st is the deadline for that. Working half day on the 31st to get last minute stuff done for vacation. SHADDIE...don't push yourself just because you are feeling better and 100%. Save your strength for the next go-round. So glad ODDU takes good care of you. :) LAURA...I get your rants girl. We are here for you. I always bake my fish, whatever the kind, white, salmon..etc. Similar to HAPPYs recipe. Sometimes panko crumbs sometimes not. It is so flakey and tasty, got my mouth watering for it now. We had great weather this past weekend also. We did get a lot of rain Saturday night and Sunday but at least it was warm. I have had several different types of bosses over the years at various work places. Most of the time it was politics. Who knows whom and their pull. It is all BS. Thank God, I am hopefully in my last job and the bosses have been great. Helps I am the only one in this office in this department. hehe. SUSIE...Even if no loss this week at TOPs, you have done amazingly well. Stay the course. How did you do? Hopefully you enjoyed your day off on Thursday even if it had some "to do" things on the list. HAPPY..had to laugh at the b**b ringing on the register. Sometimes I b**b type on my key board when I don't sit up correctly or am tired. LOL. WOW what a catch on the YETI cooler. I am jealous. That is one awesome cooler. You made out like a bandit on the prizes. Whew who! Your DH said we will most likely need that cooler at the commune. hahahahaha. LMBO. I will be curious to see what the xrays and blood works says about you. Especially the knee. Sam's x FIL is till having pain with his fake knee. He had his done in June 2015. CEEG...Hope your blues pass quickly. Are you one any type of anti-depressant? Maybe talk to the doc about that. Best get busy, bleh on this week of work. YEAH for 5 days til vacation! STERILIZED HUGS! |
Morning all. Happy Monday to you.
Annie – Congrats on your 18 month token! Good for you working that program! Yes, plenty to enjoy in life, even without that stuff, or maybe even especially without that stuff. You do sound like you enjoy what you eat on the keto plan, but what is it that you find you miss the most? == Yeh, the meds probably messed you up in the WL department, but you know that'll be temporary. == Good luck on the migration this week!! == I’m glad you're hopeful that this will be your last job – must be the work and the people as well as the benefits and a feeling of being valued and a bit secure (running a one person department)? I’m not happy with the thought of staying in my job for the long-term, even if 12 years ‘til pension and Medicare doesn’t sound all that far away now. I think it would energize me to take on another role in my field, or to maybe perform a similar/same role in another industry. I guess I just have to get past the fear of change, fear of the unknown. Hellos to the rest of you! :) Have a good week!! :flow1: == Nothing much to report since I posted yesterday. I will call my eye doc today to see if perhaps he could fix my eyeglass frame – the spring hinge on the one temple piece. Two other places have already said nope. If he also says that, I’ll confirm with him that there would be no issue putting my eyeglass lenses in a new frame (exact same model of my current ones). They do sell them relatively inexpensively online. I just don’t want to be worrying about these glasses for the next month+, especially on my vacay. Also, I’m thinking that when I get my new glasses in May – the no-lines/progressive bifocals – I will probably have days during the adjustment period where they are bugging the heck out of me and I won't want to wear them another second and will want to put on my old glasses. So I need a good backup. Not a loose on my head, falling apart backup. Nothing much else going on this week. Orthopedic appointment on Thursday. Will try to exercise each day this week. That’s all for now. Off to post. |
Hi kids,
Yep, much to my shock and awe I was a big winner at the Senior fashion show on Saturday. I also won a door prize with a nice T-Fal brand Stock pot, 3 packages of powdered soup - vegetable, chicken noodle and chili, a package of oyster crackers, a sturdy oven mitt and 2 dish towels. That was a nice surprise. I was also bidding on a number of silent auction items. I went to check just as they were getting ready to close the auction and I had the winning bids on 7 items. I was fretting a bit that I had maybe overspent - it came close to $500 :yikes: They were pulling the slips (ending the bidding) as I walked out of the room. When I went to go pay for my stuff, I was shocked that I only had one item - the one I was the only one to bid on. What happened to the other six items????? The payment lady just shrugged and said they had some "unscrupulous people" there. That meant that one or others placed a bid AFTER it was supposed to end which is dead on WRONG. So the good news is that I didn't spend a ton of money I didn't need to spend. I was pretty upset about it but went back to the table. They had a Cinderella them to the show and throughout the event they were working in a skit about Cinderella with the local high school kids, some youngsters dressed up as the mice and one brave and wonderful guy who dressed up as the ugly step sister  It was cute and at the end of the show all the men who participated grabbed a woman from the audience and they had to dance at the "Cinderella Ball". One of the guys (husband of one of the center workers and avid bingo player with his family) came up to me with his hand out. No, I don't dance!!!! I actually don't know how to slow dance. Really I don't. But I was stuck. We just did a simple bob and all the ladies at my table were telling me they were going to rat me out to DH. Which is ok because he knows him anyway - he was one of the guys who worked on our deck and siding replacement. He was on Security Detail. I asked why they had 6 security guys at the show with a bunch of old ladies and ha ha ha - he said that's because fights broke out in the past about the SILENT AUCTION ITEMS. So they know they have a problem. I am meeting with the center director on Thursday about bingo, I will mention to her about the auction - we run that all the time at the Humane Society and I think they have it down to a science. The thing is, some of those packages retail at $250 and people get nasty trying to nab them for $60. Anyway after the dance they called numbers for the 3 big raffle items - one was a nice furniture chest (hope chest type) that had a bunch of nice prizes in it (I wanted that). One of the site managers at one of the other centers won that. The second drawing was for this fancy cooler with 2 really nice lawn chairs and a bunch of prizes in the chest. I was looking at my 2 tickets and saying 342, 342, call 342. And the announcer says - the winning ticket is 583342. I swear this is true. I screamed and said "did you call 342?" and he said Yes I did. I said "thatsa ME, YAY" and I danced to the front of the venue to verify my ticket. I could NOT believe I won. When I was dancing with T earlier he said he hoped he would win the cooler, he was the one who convinced me to buy some tickets so I said there's no one in this room with worse luck than me or you so if I win by some bizarre twist of fate, I will give you the beer in the cooler. So I did. A 24 pack of Leinenkugel beer. There was a nice set of bbq tools, bbq sauce, several gift cards/certificates, some hard (alchohol enhanced) root beer and apple ale, a baseball type cap, a book by a local author about deer hunting. It was a nice prize. Yes DH said we can use the cooler at the commune - it will go nicely on the boat or in the truck. In fact he wants to take it when he goes in May to his photography class in North Dakota. I said that he's got a refrigerator in his room, why take my cooler? :( If someone steals the cooler or camp chair I will be so MAD !!! Anyway it was a nice surprise. I think it was karma for doing nice stuff for the senior center and bingo. Yesterday sort of blew past me, I don't know where it went. I have my list made for all the appointments and things I need to get done this week which for sure will fly by. Anne - I am glad you are feeling a bit better. Get as much rest as you can, take your medicine and be super healthy for your vacation that you deserve so much. :congrats: on your 18 month pin :yay: That seems to have helped you in so many ways. Keep up the good work, very proud of you sister  As to the surgeries I am totally convinced and on board that they can sort of fix you but not bring you completely back to health so take what you can and don't expect the world to change. :^: When are you leaving on vacation? Saturday? Bummer that you have to work half a day DO NOT LET CRISISES at the last minute keep you at work past your half day committment!! Laura - I stopped eating tilapia totally when I found it was a garbage bottom feeding fish and they mostly come from waters where you would not want to ingest what they are feeding on. And I liked tilapia when it first came out. They are also overfishing it like so many other species. I also watch the cod - the cheap stuff on sale comes from China - I won't buy that either. Yikes, 12 years to retirement sounds like forever. Remember DH and I are on the 13 year plan - figure we have 13 good years left in us. If you want to come to the commune, you're going to have to figure out how to shorten up your retirement plan  :D I am bummed that the weather will cool down when I'm out by you - they are talking really rainy weather the whole week. :( Is the rain bothering your foot any? Ceejay -ugh on the hail. I hope it was a quick pass through. Are you feeling any better? Go outside and stick your face in the sunshine :D Hellos to Susie and Shad. I have to run out and go pick up my beef stroganoff lunch from the senior center. Been wanting to try that! Have a good one ladies. |
Hi folks
Yesterday was church and book club. We finished the book and I'm a little confused about what the author was trying to say. Other than that dealing with the Spring thunderstorms. It's supposed to be dry tomorrow and I'm going to mow the front yard. I did go to the gym this afternoon and did 20 minutes on the bike and 20 minutes on the bike. And up until today I've been doing well on counting my carbs. I don't think I went to over board on the pizza for dinner cause it was thin crust. I'm still practicing on the hymn that brother in law wants me to play and I did play it for him last week end. I'm going to devote more time on it. and he likes the organ version and so do I. No, I don't play the organ. I'm going to purchase a new key board. I'm doing okay with this one but a couple of the keys does not work and their is no pedal nor music holder. Bil got me a cord to where I could play it. All I had was the stand and key board. I probably shouldn't mention this cause it's kinda gross. Saturday night I went to get a bowl of cereal and milk for a snack and poured out ants with the cereal. I poured that in the garbage rinsed out the bowl and put it in the dish washer then started in on cleaning out the pantry. Good grief I did not realize that their was so many. I had to take out the whole shelves. I did have some spray and Sunday my bil gave me some ant hotels. I've seen a few today but not nearly the amount Saturday night. That sill turns my stomach. ------ Annie So glad to hear that you are feeling better. And I know that you are getting excited for that vacation. Good luck in getting all that migration done. Yes, I'm taking an anti depressant. I was going to try with out it but the little boys did me in and had to go back on it. Laura How are you feeling? We are supposed to have the same weather as you this week. How is your foot? Good for you in doing the BE work outs. Happy Wow, congratulations on you win. And what a great win it was. Have you heard back from you lab test? I'm curious. Think some of my problem is that I'm in pain from the back problem. I'm asking the doctor about getting something stronger than the Aleve. But I keep thinking about my bff in Jonesboro who has the same problems and I don't want to give in to take something stronger. I told my sis that it's time. Shad Did you get you to do list completed? Susie Hi  |
OH GOOD LORD....Outlook contact migration is not going smoothly. I may have to work Friday afternoon. Bleh. Hopefully I can get my BDOs to cooperate better. Is there ever a good time to be off work? um evidently no.
HAPPY, HEALTHY...., GRATEFUL AND BLESSED. Last night was leftover night as will tonight be LO night. Trying to clear out the fridge before blasting off to vacation. Yeeee. Tonight will be chicken quasadillas (sp). Sam, the boys and I went to watch a good friend of Sam's daughter at her gymnastic class. It was so cute. She is only 5 and the tiniest one in her class as she is so good they bumped her up to the 7-9 year old class. Too cute. Got home around 7, did a few chores then off to bed to watch the Voice. Fell asleep during the end of it. Probably a good thing since it wasn't over til ten. Will come back for personals....if there is time. Hugs |
Morning all. Another gray day. Fingers :crossed: that the forecast is right that the skies will turn partly sunny in the afternoon. :sunny:
Happy - Cooler, stock pot, foodstuffs, etc - what a great haul for you. :carrot: Nice of you to give the beer to your deck guy. But how disappointing and maddening to know that some silent auction bidders are breaking the rules. I have seen folks that hover possessively over "their" item until the very end to make sure they get it. Not sure if it went past the deadline though... == I don't know if the rain bothers my foot. I'm assuming the twinges and minor pain I have are still part of the healing process. Ceejay – I think authors can be intentionally vague in what they write – did it make for a better book club discussion? For classic books that I think I’ll find challenging, I’ve gotten the Cliff Notes from the library. I bet there are online book discussion forums too. == Good job with the physical activity! There’s no mowing going on around our neighborhood…yet. == Ugh, ants. Hope the spray & the ant houses get rid of them. == My foot’s so-so, not 100%. I’d say the pain is about 2 on a scale of 10. I do wonder if I’m doing too much walking. Annie – I hope things with the migration start speeding up. I’m sure you need that half day off on Friday!! Especially after this migration work!! == The little gymnast sounds cute. :) Hellos to the rest of you, I hope you’re all doing well. == Yesterday after work I did a Margaret Richard workout that wasn’t one of the Body Electric shows and was longer in length. This was 40 minutes and covered most major body parts, and the lengths of the routines were just long enough to get a good workout, but not overly long to become agonizing. I’ll have to remember that – it’s an oldie (made in 1992 but re-issued later with others in a “Classics” dvd), but a goody. I’ll probably take the night off exercise tonight, or do something short. I’m still tracking my eating on MFP. My weight isn’t moving – I go up and down the same 1-2 pounds. Maybe the exercise will help move the scale. More importantly, I need to stop with the sweets!! Bf bought pot roast/potatoes/carrots from Mariano’s for dinner last night and it was pretty good. I look forward to trying some of their other dishes, and their salad bar. I find making salads at home to be so tedious. I’m still tracking my cash spending using the app I found, been about 3 weeks & going well. Now I’ll be more motivated to track my finances since there won’t be a black hole as far as cash spending goes. I don’t like to watch Dancing with the Stars very often, but I tuned in last night right when Mr. T was dancing, and then after that was David “Grandpa” Ross (former Cubs catcher). Mr. T is stiff – maybe he’ll improve? Rossy looks like he’s having so much fun and I think he’s not a half-bad dancer. Okay, enough rambling. Off to post. |
Morning all,
Happy - Thank you so much for the lovely parcel. ODDU has indiItted that it passes the sniff test, so we are good to open it and go oooh aaah and woof ruff. Sorry I haven't been around much. I'm getting to the point like Happy when being retired means you have more to do than when you went to work. It's chemo week again and I want to get as much done as possible before Friday because I know that next week I won't be doing much at all. So I will be back probably after Friday. |
Hello Everyone,
It seems like forever since I posted. So let's see if I can give a condensed version of last week until now. Work is busy but I have not been working OT and if I do, I flex my time. It has been busy at home and a lot of running around this past weekend with things for my nieces. At home, I am trying to go through clothes and get things sorted out as to what is to big, what I should give away and maybe keep (maybe have it altered) and then there is so many other things to clean out in the garage. I'm planning that the whole month of April I will be working on these things. Saturday was crazy! Layna (she is 13)had a singing competition for State (her first one) it was at 8:50 a.m. at a school in our county, so we went to that. She did amazing! She got a Superior 1 rating! Then at 11:30 we were at Aidynne's (she is a twin and is 9 yrs old) last basketball game. It is in the same town we all live in, they won and we were out of there by 12:30. So we had some lunch (Subway), I dusted a room at home and got a load of laundry out of the dryer, then we left at 3:30 p.m. to go to Bryn's (she is a twin and is 9 yrs old) last gymnastics meet in Moraine Ohio, about 45 min away. She got 2nd on Beam and was 3rd all around. She was happy. I skipped church on Sunday so I could get laundry and regular housework done. DH did the grocery shopping. I did have a gain at TOPS last week...2.6 lbs. I think it was from lack of sleep and stress. I have gotten my stress down and my sleep in and the scales are down the 2.6 lbs plus one more, if I can show a 3.6 lb loss on Thursday I will be happy and feel back on track. Annie: I bet you are getting excited for your vacation! I hope you are feel well and can get out of the office for a half day on Friday. Congratulations of your 18 month token. That is a wonderful accomplishment. Well down Sister! Shad: I hope you get done what you want to before chemo day. I think after the upcoming one on Friday, you have one more? You are a warrior my friend! Laura: Good for you for getting some workouts back in and also for tracking your cash spending. I bet it is revealing...I know mine would be. Happy: I couldn't believe all that you won! Exciting for sure! Ceejay: I bet you had ants due to all the rain. In the spring we have to be careful with our pantry because we can get ants with the rain and wet weather. I have found if I go out and spray the outside wall with ant spray and use the ant traps, I don't have the issue in about a day. I use clips on everything to close up things I open and is in the pantry Time for me to head to bed. I'll try to post more often...I read and think I will post and then I don't get back to it....I love coming her and sharing and catching up. |
HAPPY HUMP DAY!.....Feeling a bit better.
NSV - Non-scale victory ~ Bought new bras this past weekend. Went from 44D to 38C Wahoooooooooooooo! Can now shop in the cute section instead of the big momma construction section. However will always get underwires. Pretty navy and a pretty pink one! Bathroom victory...antibiotics, cough syrup with codeine, iron pills = no movement. Stool softners = bathroom victory!! Just full of joy this morning. Grateful, blessed!! SHADDIE...my throughts, prayers, good mojo, are with you this week of chemo. Hope you bounce back quicker than before. Who is going with you this time? or did I miss that part? SUSIE...fingers crossed for a great WI tomorrow. Isn't it wondeful to purge your clothes and make room for smaller, cuter things. You are doing a terrific job with WL. Very proud of you to stick with this for so long and keep golng! Almost bikini time! Funny how work interferes with our lives so much. Busy to say the least. Wow you sure are busy with kids for not having any of your own. :) HAPPY...sadly the knee surgery did not work out completely as a pain free result. I will say my ankle surgery was a huge success. No more pain, mostly. A few twinges now and again but really I cannot complain. Plus eating KETO is helping in so many other areas of my health. Can't wait to get my blood work done in a few months to see what all my levels are. Somehow, unless it is a big corporation where accountants and lawyers are involved, I believe raffles and such can be rigged. Sad. I have seen it first hand. Just glad I didn't buy any tickets myself when I saw what was going on with the drawing. Probably should of reported it but truly didn't want to get involved and plus I had to live in that community. We will have none of that at the commune. bah. In answer to your question, we are leaving Saturday sometime after C gets home from work. Taking our time plus making a stop just over the boarder of Alabama to visit a HS friend of Sam's. Have not seen her since graduation, she is married with 3 littles now. Amy was one of the girls that used to hang at our house all the time. Her parents were truly weird. I am still loving the thoughts of your YETI cooler at the commune. :) LAURA...good on you for tracking your spending. Have you noticed anything you didn't see before? I know I probably would. Great job on exercising with your bum foot. When is doc appt and what will that reveal? hmmmm. CEEG...Glad you are not getting stagnant in your retirement. You sure are a gaddabout of sorts.
