Good Afternoon! We were supposed to have sunshine today but so far it's been cloudy and a tad warmer. Bob's group sang at church this morning; usually they sing two songs but today they sang three. After the children's sermon, our bell choir director invited the children to play small color coded bells along with a recorded Christmas carol. She held up cards so they would know which bell to play. A couple of tiny tots rang their bell through the whole song. It was cute but all in all the service ran over the usual hour. I didn't sleep very well last night for some reason. I think I looked at the clock every hour on the hour. A nap sounds very inviting right now. Sonny is asleep on Bob's lap, Bob's eyes are closed, and Ernie is sleeping under the Christmas tree.

"Gma," your pies sound wonderfully delicious! Yum, yum, yum! Since I don't make pies they are my first choice any time there is a selection of different desserts. I'll bet Jack looks sharp in his tux! When Jason was in the high school swing choir we bought his tux. I talked him into wearing it for one of his senior pictures, just for me. It turned out the lady photographer thought he was just so photogenic that she talked him into several more poses. Turned out his tux pictures were the ones the girls all chose too.

Susan, I sure hope your doctor can find a solution for your wrist. That sounds very painful. Do you have it in both wrists? I've been watching the newspaper and so far our days aren't any longer. I am so ready for spring! I am really kind of worried about our January weather; one opinion is mild and warm while the other is cold and wet. I'm not counting days until Maui but Maddy is. The grandkids are really excited except for the long plane ride. Last time they flew together but are going separately this time. Where we are staying doesn't have the big pool that they had fun in last time. We do have a nice beach though, as well as a smaller pool. This place has a lot of senior citizens who sit around the pool for cocktails in the afternoons.

I need to wrap some more gifts and make sure I have found everything I bought over time. My usual trick is to find something after the holiday is long over with, and I find it when looking for something else. Hope you all enjoy the rest of your day!
