Well, so much chatting has been going on and I have missed it! I hate being so busy!
Welcome laluna! I think you should be able to adapt SB to Asian foods without a problem! You will have to cut out rice--but other than that--fish is a big YES on this diet! Good luck with that! Wow! Singapore--that is a long way from here! Kevin has lost 55 # following her own plan--so I don't think a diet ceter is a must for a healthy lifestyle change. I think they just suck up your money anyway. Now, if they would come in and cook for me and shop for me--then that would be worth it!
Sharla, glad to see South Beach is working for ya! I went to phase two and just got crazy! I am still looking for that balance with the good carbs thing. My problem has been sweets (kevin is right--banana bread is all she likes, I have found

! Oh i can't even imagine not liking those sweets--and chocolate! ) I have managed to maintain--but no loss since phase one. Let me know if you find the answer! It sounds like you are doing great though! Wow! You are watching a baby so little! I have started helping my neighbor with her in-home day care--which has now turned into a full fledged job (not what I had intended--but I just keep reminding myself it is for our Disney Workd trip) It's always the same--like you forget how those little ones work! LOL! Sometimes I wonder what happened to all that knowlege I gained taking care of 3 of my own??!! Has that happened to you??
I don't even want to think of those teen years--my oldest is 11. Only four more years to the learners permit!! My dh and I joke that she is going to get a bright yellow hummer with a flashing red light to drive when she gets old enough! She just says, "daaaaad! sssttttooopp!" Its funny. My 6 year old even points the yellow hummers out on the road or on tv and exclaims, "there is Nicole's car!" Oh she gets so mad. But...it is a parents privilege right?
Kevin--i know exactly how you feel about the loss and the clothing size changing! You are right--it probably has to do with height. Look at it this way--at least you are looking better and feeling better and you didn't need to spend a fortune on a new wardrobe!! clothing size is such a crazy thing! I haven't wore a size 10 since high school and yet there are moms I know that say they wear a 10 and I swear they aren't much smaller than me now and I wear around a 16. ( but still fit into some 18's too) Anyway--it's not size that counts right? ha! ha!
Looks like the weather is going to be nice all week. Warm and sunny. Our pool is already down for the winter! Finished it yesterday. Well, better get going. I am going to try to stop back later! Make it a good one ladies!
