Good Morning!

Looks like everybody has been buys! Yesterday was the kids last day of school, so today marks the first day of summer vacation! Yeah! I don't know why I am so excited--it means I have less time to myself and have to drag the little darlings with me on errands--but I can't help feeling like a kid! Oh well...

Hope you both are doing well. Sandy, that is good news about your mom. Kevin, I hope things are going good for you. Are you walking and still working in the yard? Hopefully work hasn't been too crazy for either of you. When (or have they already) are all of your kids getting out? Kevin, did you have the graduation ceremony yet??

I was doing well on the diet front, and the last few days have been a detour. I have been so busy it has been hard to schedule some exercise in--and the food choices have not been too good. I hate getting thrown off track--but I am not disiplined enough to prevent it, I guess, when things get hectic and the planning goes out the window. I just found out the last few days that my neighbor has been diagnosed with Mutiple Myeloma ( a form of blood cancer)--so I have been doing alot of praying for her. She is pretty sick right now. I hope she responds to treatment.

Anyway, just thought I'd check in. Sandy--that avatar of Toby Keith is hot. Sorry, I am not much of a country music fan--that is why I did not know who he was. I like it! Well, hope to hear from you both soon. Take care!

Morning.

Just wanted to check in to say that I am alive.

Renee, so sorry to hear about you neighbor I will pray for her. It seems that in today's world there is much more cancer. Makes you wonder what and why. Keep up your hard work on the diet I know that you can do it.

I have been so busy. Last week was 60+ hrs and this week will be at 70. I just can't wait for vacation. Corey got out of school in May. Unfortantly we haven't gotten to spend too much time together yet. But vacation is comming up in a few weeks.

Kevin, hope that work hasn't gotten you too tied down.

Better run have to get Corey ready for summer school and then it is off to work

Sandy

Whew! Finally....I know it is a bit late--hope you did nice things on Sunday to celebrate!

Sandy, sorry to hear you have been so busy working. I hope you have found a few minutes for yourself. Thank you for the well wishes for my neighbor. She is status quo right now--some good news of improvement would be nice. Are you going anywhere on vacation this year? Sounds like you really need that vacation.

Things on the diet front are going really slowly. I really need to be more focused, but as usual, am having a difficult time with it. I really hate being fat. Somedays worse than others. I usually start the day off good, and then mess up and then the weekends have been really horrible. I know what I need to do, I just need to do it. I have only lost a total of 5 lbs since April. That is just pathetic. Well, I won't stop. But I really do need to stay more focused and not stray so much. I was thinking of doing some SBD phase one--to jump start the whole thing--but I don't know, the thought of no bread, cereal or potatoes sounds more difficult since I have done it once before. Cereal is what I missed the most. But then and again, it is only 2 weeks. I don't know. I will keep you posted.

Been working alot on the yard and thinking about you, Kevin. We would like to put the pool up, but have 2 big trees(one dead, one just in the way) to take down before that happens. A guy is coming to give us an estimate today. I wish we would have had them take more trees out when we built the house. As pretty as they are, they are a pain. I hate the leaves in the fall and mowing around each one is annoying. It will open up more space for sun onto the pool and hopefully make the water warmer. I think we are going to get a solar cover too.

Oh well, off to get some things done. The dance recital from **** week is this week and I will be glad when that is over!! Take care, my cyber-friends!

Good Morning Friends!

Gosh its been 2 weeks since I last signed in. Work has been ****, to say the least lol. The best thing is, I finally asked for some vacation time. I have tomorrow and Monday off. So it will be a 4 day weekend for me. My hubby cant believe I actually took time off. Last year I only had 1 vacation day off and 2 sick days lol. This very well may be the only 2 days off I take this year. Ill have to wait and see what kind of turmoil I return to on next Tuesday. I have to go in this morning and fix 122 tenant rents due to my co worker who decided to not pay attention during closeout yesterday and posted the next work day as June 10, "2005". So the computer posted extra months of rent. So now all the tenants look like they owe huge balances, when they dont. I have to go in and manually credit all these (#*$)@)$#* accounts now.

TOM worried me again this month. He was almost 2 weeks late. He arrived yesterday in the midst of the posting nightmare. Im beginning to wonder if it has anything to do with my female neighbor. She didnt have one from Dec to March. Mine left me Jan to March. I got mine 1 week after she got hers in March. Then she tells me last Tuesday that she had missed May and finally started. I told her about my missing May too and that watch and see, Ill start next Tuesday, 1 week after her. We laughed. Well low and behold, lol, I start Wednesday instead. Coincidence? She has had irregular ones all her life. She was taking birth control to make hers come regular. But she stopped taking the pill in November 2003. Could there be any link between us like that?

Renee, thanks for the Birthday wishes. . I have most definately been working in the yard. Hubby's mom bought me in the range of 500 dollars worth of flowers for my b-day and a gold fish pond. We have a digital camera now so Im gonna take lots of pics while Im off tomorrow and post them for yall! I couldnt believe she did that for me. I spent 2 days putting these little angels in the ground. I was permanently bent over lol. And I cant wait to get my goldfish put in tomorrow too! She has me a few yard "ornaments" as well, that I will go and pick up in Florida at her house on Saturday. And she has me some hyacinths for the pond and a Yucca tree. Im excited! And yes, I do still walk each afternoon Renee. Its become a way of life for me. I feel bad if I dont. Like Im cheating or something. My legs are ready to go at 7 to 7:30 each night. The boys loved their graduation. They both looked so handsome. Then we got home and they promptly disrobed and tossed the clothes in the drawer like rags lol. Oh well. They will never see the light of day again. My youngest is very excited to be going to the high school though. Even if he does have to see his brother there too lol.

Well I know this is short, I gotta get myself dressed for the last day of work before vacation! lol. Everyone have a great day. Take care and Ill check in again later on.

Hey girls!

Kevin, so glad to hear from you. Love the new avatar. I should change mine, huh? Since you and Sandy have new ones! Maybe, if I find just the right one...

Glad to hear your bday was good. Can't wait to see those pics of the pond and the yard. How cool that your mother in law did that!! Has your thumb turned green yet??

Too bad both you and Sandy have been so busy with work. You should take some time off and not feel bad about it at all. But I understand the dilemma, that one day off makes just that much more work for you upon your return. It is like that at home for me--the guys never clean up and I always come home to a mess that I have to take extra time to get back into order. Gotta love cleaning up after those co-workers!

For some silly reason, I thought your oldest was entering high school--but now two kids in highschool. EEks! Someday I will be there too--but not too soon I hope! Anyway, I am glad to hear graduation was a smash and that everybody is doing well.

Sorry that ole TOM is still giving you grief! You may have something about the neighbor thing. Never know. I think being irregular would freak me out to--as I am regular to the hour practically. But as long as everything checks out ok--I wouldn't worry too much.

Last night started the 4 days of dance recital. It was the tech rehearsal. It looks like it will be a really nice show. Of course, my daughter shined like the star she is! *proud mom smile* Tonight is the dress rehearsal and then two nights of shows. Then we can really start summer vacation! Not making any promises, as I am at a technological disadvantage with the digital camera downloading, but if I can, I will post some recital pics.

Well, it's a miserable rainy day today. We needed some rain though. My garden and the annuals I planted the other day are glad it is rainy today. Anyway...take care girls!
