Good Morning Floozies!

For some strange reason, I thought I posted yesterday!

Talk about losing it!!! What a day it must have been. Truth is I have an awful sore throat and have lost most of my voice. I can't talk much above a whisper. That is probably a blessing to those around me!!

Debbie: My dear dear friend. I love you and I know you are just going through a rough patch right now. You will get through it. Just don't you dare give up!!! Whew.....I'm so tired from working fan fair last night! You would think with me walking a mile everyday that I couldn't OR shouldn't be outta shape...but I am!!! I wore my "mile clicker" and I walked a total of 7 miles! My legs, lower back & feet are killin' me! I couldn't even sleep good last night.

I was floor supervisor and had 2 suites to work.The CMA suite just had the snotty wifes & family members in it. Not as exciting as I thought it would be.But I did hand Alan Jackson a bottled water! That was exciting!!

As tired as I am, I dread working again tonight.

I always wear two pieces.I can't stand the one pieces! It just kinda "sticks" to you when they get wet. My tummy has never been big.It's my legs & hips where my weight is.Also, I was blessed with having no stretch marks, that's how I can get by with wearing a two piece.YES!! You'l be wearing one by NEXT SUMMER!!! You're doing awesome!!!

I have a diet question that I hope you can answer.

I'm trying to figure out if I'm correct about something.I understand about FAT GRAMS & CALORIES but what about FAT CALORIES??? Is this correct?

Since a gram of fat has 9 calories, Is 4 grams of fat 36 fat calories?

Ex: 4 grams of fat- 9x4= 36 fat calories

Two weeks from today we will be doing the hula! We will be gone for 8 days...I can't wait.
Thanks for all the responses to my "hungry horrors" question. I know I have slacked off on the water and should drink more. I'm back to diet Coke again. However, I'm still going strong with my spinning class. I went 3 days this week and it felt great.

Dee--what happened in Toronto? Were you exposed to SARS?

Debbie--I know what you mean about slumps. Not only is it hard for me to just get started on a plan, then I have trouble after a couple of months...I think it is boredom. Maybe there is a way to stir things up. A new exercise or food plan?

Hello??? Where is EVERYONE?????

Call me stupid, But today I went to Mom's and cleaned her outside kitchen cabinets.I also vacuumed & mopped.They are gone to the mountains and will be back tomorrow evening.I was sooooo tired frim working Fan Fair for two days but I wanted to surprise her. There isn't a part on my body that DOESN'T hurt!!!

Good news:

I lost 2 lbs.!!! I FINALLY reached my 20 lbs. loss mark!!!!
On March 17: 191
June 8th: 171

I'm going to lay down for awhile & rest. I'll check back later!!

Sherry-That's awesome!!

I have been lying around since about 2:00. Just plain tired, and I don't even clean! Becky's confirmation was yesterday, and it turned out beautiful. We were at the temple until 4:00 because the teacher wanted them to stay and make stepping stones for the outside. I sat there and ate CHOCOLATE!!! I can't believe I did it! I also ate 3 bagels yesterday!! I screwed up big time! I'm not weighing in this week on the challenge.

To all of my other Floozie friends, I hope life is treating you well!

I had a hard time this weekend staying op. Steve had a birthday and requested pie instead of cake. We invited the parents out, so I went ahead and bought a cake too. I sware I must be sabotaging (sp?) myself! On a good note, I went with Liz to another city Saturday morning that was conducting the EMT testing. She passed her practicals!!! Now we will wait and see how the written test went, she should probably know within the next two weeks.

Morning Floozies

Hope everyone is having a good morning. I got up at 10.30 this morning After working last night and getting home around 12.30, I couldn't go to sleep. Finally I went to sleep around 3.30 am, so I guess 10.30 doesn't sound so bad now...LOL.

Gayle.....The view from the suites I worked last night were awesome. When "ole Trace" sang I could have reached out and touched him. He is a hottie!! Keith Urban is HOT too!! The place was rocking!!!

Jennelle...Have a save trip! If you are in Nashville give me or Sherry a call.

Shelley....I'm sure Becky's confirmation was wonderful. She is so lucky to have a Mom like you!! Are you finished with school now?

Sherry.....Florida here we come!!! Hard to believe in 19 days we will be soaking up the sun In Panama City!! I was thinking this morning, even though I haven't lost all the weight I want to. I'm still smaller than last year on vacation!!
