Good Morning All the temps are on the way up...Yeah!!

HAPPY THOUGHT: The sunrise is absolutely beautiful and warmer temps are on the way!!

MELLIE...do not worry about the thread title, it is really no biggie...we are pretty much alike on the mornings going by so quickly, then from about 1:30 to 4:15 just bites. I think it lasts about 4 days long.

HAPPY...pausing at this moment for a prayer for you and DH. Hugs to you both, speedy recovery!

SHADDIE....hope things are running along smoothly for you this week.

LAURA...10 lbs down since Feb...Congrats sister!! Sorry to hear about the admins gain, probably too much Easter joy.

CEEG...glad you enjoyed your time off....roommates can be trying, even when you like them,. lol

CHELLE...fingers still crossed on that perfect CA job coming your way...glad you got some quality time with roomie.

Turkey manhattans night for dinner were quite yummy. I made mine without the bread part, just turkey, little mashed potatos and a bit of gravy. Quite Tasty.

My eyes didn't want to stay open on the drive in this morning. It was quite a challenge. I didn't get to sleep my PM all the way out. Gas prices went up about 35 cents over night here. SHould of gotten my gas on the way home last night, hoping I can hold out for a few days, maybe they will come back down a bit.

Not too much else going on this a.m. Got a handy man coming at 8 am today to install AED. That is about the excitement at work. lol.

Hi there, Sweet Worldlies. I'm just too darned busy to post regularly but I do snoop. The PM from Mel re title change gave me a push. Been busy as usual - bad time right now doing taxes for seniors.
Senior "Why can't I claim my veggie seeds as an expense?"
Ruth "Because you don't claim the income you get from selling them." Duh!

Anyhow it sounds like all is well here. I'm usually over in South Beach if you want to snoop. It's the usual Delta and Doggage talk.

Morning all.

Second day of no breakfast pre-weigh in. Today it's WW. Silly I guess, but today in particular I'd like to show a loss after my gain last week. The scale at home looked good this morning, and I know these dress pants weigh less than the jeans I wore last week. That should be good for a smidgen, haha.

Mel - I agree about keeping to a routine!!! Hope your morning goes by quickly (and mine!). Yay for getting our title changed!

Ruth - Nice to see you! Thanks for changing our title - we've got to commemorate this special event you know.

Michelle - Friends make everything better!

Annie - I love your happy thought today. We have a day or two of chilly days to get through, but milder temps are coming! The Turkey Manhattan sounds fab to me. Bah on the higher gas prices.

Nothing much to report. I didn't do much of anything last night after work except a load of laundry which I left in the dryer for the full cycle AND overnight. I usually just fluff for a few minutes and hang them to dry... Oh well, we've got wrinkles today. Let's see, hopefully I won't need to wear the sweater or the t-necks anymore and the wrinkles can be dealt with in the fall, LOL.

Feeling very uninspired at work and not as productive as I should be. I need a change.

Okay, off to the restroom to deal with the dribbled toothpaste on my blazer that I didn't notice til I was on the train.

After this past week end. I know that I can't have a room mate especially this friend. We've tried it before in our younger year. I keep thinking what will I do with my belongings--furniture etc. And you are right about needing my own space.

Hump Day....Yeah....sending healthy thoughts to HAPPY and DH...surgery day for him.

Happy Thought for today is really a good thing from yesterday...my Goddaughter had her baby yesterday...welcome to the world baby girl Cecilia Elizabeth, 7lbs 14 oz. She has lots of dark hair and just gorgeous!

MELLIE....my associate from work only lived with me for 3 weeks and it seemed like 3 years. It has taken me some time to get used to C, but at least I get rewards from him...wink wink. Sam was 23 when she moved out, but she was so much like me, I didn't notice her much being there. Baby boy a different story...but I missed them so much once they left. Kids just pull and pull at my heartstrings. Love the good morning coffee drinkers, looks like me and my bestie in St. Louis.

CEEG...I know what you mean about completing reports and finishing an assignment, it is like a huge weight being lifted from your shoulders..now at least you can relax a bit. Time off is great but when we come back it is a mess. hugs

Hi ladies,

Quick check in from the hospital. They have a computer here but here, like the hotel - the connection is SO SLOW AND HORRID. Took me 10 minutes just to get the page loaded! DH just went in for his procedure. I thank you all for the good thoughts, prayers and wishes. Poor guy has been stuck, pinched and shaved and they didn't even start the procedure yet

Laura - congrats on the weight loss!
Michelle - glad the room mate situation is working well. Good luck with your resume and interviews

Just going to have to say a quick hello to the rest of the girls. It takes too long to scroll the page and read posts. Hope all is well with everyone, I should be back in contact tomorrow.
