Gayle.....I checked the carb count on the Blue Bunny Sweet freedom and it was a little high per serving. Around 15 or 18 grams but it would be great for mainatance. It was low in fat and calorie count for all of you low-fat and low calorie people!!

BUT... I did find a low carb frozen dessert!! It made by Goldenbrook, called Le Carb~~~ They have several favors, Strawberry {which I'm eating now} Choc almond and Vanilla. I plan on trying all of them with just 6 carbs per serving!!

hugs...deb

Debbie: I forgot to mention, yes, the BB ice cream has quite a few carbs. Check out the BB sweet Freedom selection of novelties such as bars, sandwiches etc. They have a lower carb count. There are even a few that are 2-3 carbs per bar.

SUNDAY MENU

BREAKFAST/BRUNCH: ground beef with scrambled egg

LUNCH/MID AFTERNOON: Cottage cheese sweetened with splenda and cinnamon

DINNER: Egg drop soup with chicken breat diced in it

SNACKS: None

Tomorrow is weigh-in day for me, wish me luck! BTW: Day 8 on the Stillman plan.

I'm not going to post my menus for the weekend since those are the days that I carbo load. I did finally buy the truffles on Saturday. Guess what? They really weren't all that good. I had one and put the rest in the freezer. I had some nice strawberries also.
I have a question for those of you who eat the Pur-delight bars. I was looking at them and read that they have 18 grams of carbs. Is this the same thing you were eating? Just curious.....

Yes Ramona, but you minus the fiber and sugar alcohol. For example: 1 bar says 17 carbs, fiber 1 gram, sugar alcohol 14 grams. Minus the fiber (1) and sugar alcohol (14) to make a total of 2 grams effective carbs. I hope this makes sense! I was like you, I couldn't believe all the carbs when everyone kept saying they were low carb!!! I have tried the pure de-lite and Atkins indulge bars, all are good. If you like peanut butter cups, give the Atkins cups a try.

Most of the bars will list the effective carbs on the front of the packaging.

Girls, I am happy to report a 10 pound loss towards the Easter challenge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will probably weigh again Saturday AM and take my measurments so I can list my Easter Sunday challenge results!!!!

How are you guys planning to eat on easter? I have "concerned" (nosey) relatives so I plan on eating Atkins plan but placing a few non-Atkins food on my plate, then mixing around so it looks like I ate some. I would prefer that no one knows in the family that I'm trying to lose weight (again )

MONDAY MENU

BREAKFAST: Cottage cheese with Splenda and cinnamon

LUNCH: Tuna

DINNER: Scrambled eggs with ground beef

SNACKS: None

This completes day 8 of the Stillmans plan.

Sherry just looking at what you ate today I added up 21 weight watcher points. I think that you should add a bit more calories to your daily intake. At least 150 to 200 calories. If you eat to lean your weight loss will slow down.
