TGIF!!!! Girls!!

Jeanne...You are such a sweetie!! : I send you an email with my address!

Gayle...I'm not fond of eggs either. Try scambled w/cheese or an omelet. You could add ham, {or any meat} cheese {any knd} bell peppers, onions. How about an egg salad, with mayo and pickles.

Friday's Menu..
Breakfast....Grilled boneless pork chops, 1 boiled egg
Luncheon for food service....I was good though..Pulled pork BBQ and coleslaw
Dinner...Big salad w/ Bacon ranch dressing

Whatever your doing Sher is working...keep it up!!!!

MENU 4/4 FRIDAY:

BREAKFAST: bacon & eggs

LUNCH: 2 deviled eggs made with pickle, mayo, mustard
beefstick

DINNER: Turkey, small salad with dressing

SNACKS: low carb chocolate bar ** Cheese cubes

Deb, thanks for the suggestions on the eggs! I try to boil some and keep in the fridge for when I'm to busy to fix a piece of meat. So far, if I add alot of mustard, I can handle the deviled the best!!! I can't stand the taste or the texture of the egg white.

BTW: Have any of you tried the TGIF buffalo wings in the frozen food section? The box which is two servings would be 2 carbs total. I microwaved them, but chickened (no pun intended) out. I am super picky on my meat, chicken for the most part. Just didn't look that appetizing. I tossed them in a bag and will let the teenager try them out!

Ramona: Your Jalapeno dressing sounds good!

Friday's Food

Breakfast: ribeye steak
Lunch: small filet mignon, celery with jalapeno ranch
Dinner: sugar free jello

I started taking 2000 mg of antibiotics yesterday and by dinner time, I couldn't eat. Those things really mess my stomach up! I got something stuck in my hand in the repair shop and now I have a staph infection. So, it's ten days of medicine! We keep our tetanus updated because you wouldn't believe what comes in on some of those boots that need repairing. Unfortunately, it is not as easy to avoid staph when we get a cut. My hubby and I have both had it from puncture wounds we got in the shop. YUCK!!!!!

Monday's food:

breakfast: chuck steak
Lunch: chuck steak
Dinner: Large salad with bacon, cheese, and ranch.

I went to Wal-mart after dinner to get a prescription filled and they had Dove Easter Egg Truffles. Truffles are my all time absolute favorite decadent treat. They were shouting my name, but I finally told them to just shut up and I walked away! It was a close call though!!!!!

My clothes are fitting really loose, but it is probably because I'm constantly in the bathroom. Antibiotics are so hard on my stomach and the bad part is that the infection isn't getting any better. Oh well, I'll go back to the Dr. tomorrow.

I'll have to get a new scale this weekend. Hubby went turkey hunting and got a big one. He carried my scale outside to weigh the bird and somehow sprung it. When I got on this morning it read that I had gained 12 pounds over night.......I DON'T THINK SO!!!!!!!

You are all doing great. Keep it up everyone!

Here is my menu for today:

b--2 fried eggs, canadian bacon, decaf coffee with 1/2 and 1/2
l--string cheese, tuna, mayo, lettuce, hard boiled egg, ranch dresssing
snack--Atkins bar
d-grilled chicken cobb salad, diet coke

I have two big challenges coming up--this weekend we are going camping with a bunch of people that also have pop-up campers (we all met on the internet) and have two pot lucks planned--breakfast and dinner on Saturday...some divine intervention is definitely requested for me to stay op.
Also, the following week we are flying up to my mom's house for 3 days (she lives close to San Francisco) ...I don't know about the rest of you, but something about being around mom makes me eat like a horse....I'm going to do it (I need some positive vibes from all of you!!!)
I have 4 lbs. to go on my Easter challenge...it certainly is a challenge.

Hi girls! Still here, just busy as ever!!!!

Jeanne: saying a special one for you!!! Good luck and have fun on the camping trip!!! Sounds like my Mom. Just as soon as she hears that I am trying to lose a few, here she comes with a special pie, cake or casserole!!! GOTTA LOVE UM!!!!

Monday:

BREAKFAST actually BRUNCH: Leftover roast

DINNER: Chicken breast

SNACKS: None (no desire?????)

Tuesday:

BREAKFAST: Chicken breast

LUNCH: 2 egg scrambled with diced chicken breast

DINNER: Ground beef patty with 1/2 cup cottage cheese

SNACKS: None

I am trying the Stillman plan. Similar to Atkins, just cutting out the full fat and going with low fat and lean cuts of meat. The menu might not look the most nutritionally sound to some, but I am giving it a try. I can not get the scales to budge!!! I lose two pounds and gain one back...

Ramona: I hope your feeling better!!!!

Tuesday's food:

Breakfast: chuck steak
Lunch: salad with diced steak and ranch dressing
Dinner: Taco salad with hot sauce and ranch dressing
water

Gayle, just be real careful cutting out fat. We need some of the good fats for healty hair and skin and to keep the metabolism going. I have to admire you for being able to do the Stillman plan. I don't have that much willpower!!!!! I am going to go and look it up on the internet. I'm not really familiar with it. Good Luck!!!!

Ramona: I am still getting my fat in with my meats and eggs. Actually, I am eating alot more fat than what I did on a low fat diet! You can check it out at
www.geocities.com/stillman_diet/index.html

You will find the basic plan plus some recipes. I just found a new way to eat eggs!!!! I tried the egg drop soup, and you can half-way believe your eating noodles!
