Hey Girls

I haven't been by much because it's been a hot/humid humm-drumm summer. When the heat is soo energy-draining, the summer is a sad bust; fun & food/exercise-activity wise. It's just so much easier to b active & have fun when we're in the 70*-low 80* outdoors
Carri & Susie, both of you have kept motoring your bodies through the torrid weather

I'm betting on you both losing 6 pds - +8 pds a month till Thanksgiving dinner girls. Then just make maintaining Your Project/Priority until after New Year's Day. Just think of the gorgeous holiday clothes you can wear this year, in Smaller sizes

Merry Christmas!
Well, my garden is going to have less than half the usual harvest

from the 100* weeks we've had this summer; even though we water it weekly. Veggies just can't take those hot soil temps day & night. We're eating fresh grape tomatos, tomatos, peppers, red onions, chives, peas, cucumbers daily; but the heat killed some of my root veggies that need a cooler soil temp to grow.
So happy to see Jef & Emily together last night night on the Bachelorette. I was disappointed to see Arie be a such a *ss for not being picked. Bachelore Pad is on tonight, but I'm going to go watch BB after I finish posting, I taped it while watching the Bachelorette. So nice to have something different to watch on tv during these hot evenings.
I've been making lots of cold, fruity soups the last month & yes I hear ya scolding me about the sugar/carbs :

But it's so yummy & refreshing while the prices r low @ the fruit stands, soo happy that the fruit is enjoying the hot temps. Plus making/eating grilled veggies & battered onion rings almost every night. So at least I'm not caving into eating homemade ice cream, milk shakes or beer, etc weekly. Instead I'm doing alcohol & non-alcohol granita's & slushies.
We're going camping on Lake Michigan next week to play, fish & drive the sand dunes
ps: me Luv soda-pop, 'Dr.Pepper' & especially from the 'small business-brewers' that make their own root beer & ginger ale. 3-5 pops weekly don't kill people, or-else I am a ghost posting this

because I've average 3 sodas weekly since I was about 10 yr as my weekly treats w a banana flip whipped-cream center snack-cake

or chocolate cake covered w coconut covered snowballs & creamcheese center snackcake 2x weekly, very yummy.
