I think I can do it now!! :strong: I was good on smoking though!! The price hike has been great for me! Eat fat-burning foods -- Day 7 completed 2 pauses taken No smoking -- Day 4 completed |

jolly, Congratulations on completing TWO challenges!!! :cp::cheer: :encore: :cp: :cheer: You have down something you have set out to do!! Good for you!
I can't say I was good on eating yesterday. Probably need to requalify this challenge...but will continue for now (even though I have no pauses left :^: ) Yesterday was absolute **** and I was sorely tempted to reach for cigarettes, but I held out by asking myself just what that would accomplish and would it really make me feel so much better? "Nothing" and "No" being the answers I was able to notch another day on the no-smoking challenge. The fact that I already had some days tallied helped a LOT too. Eat fat-burning foods -- Day 7 completed 3 pauses taken No smoking -- Day 5 completed |

But other days were good! My nice-to-haves: 5) Journalizing or Blogging - Done 6) 15-min Zone - not even home, so... |
Made it through another day. It was really hard not to smoke yesterday because of the especially difficult anger flareups....brought on by certain people....BUT I didn't smoke. I was not pleasant in the gym though, which is especially annoying with lots of novices on the weekend.
jolly, glad to see you're still with us. Sea, thanks. It has been tough but I'm still holding on. My complexion is vastly improved. You are almost through on some of your challenges. Great work! :cp: Eat fat-burning foods -- Day 9 completed 3 pauses taken No smoking -- Day 7 completed |
1) Get at least 7 hours of sleep on non school nights, and at least 6 on school nights - day 8, 1/3 pauses.
For yesterday Had a girls night yesterday. Was a fabulous time, but did me a little shy on sleep. Ah well. SeaWave, good to see you. You are doing great. Red, keep going one day at a time. Having a hard time typing today. Was chewing on my cuticle last night at movie, and ended up needing bandage. Maybe should have gotten the popcorn :?: Just did two mile jog. Pretty good overall, until the last hill. Had been going slow, because my friend's knee was hurting, so decided to see what I had left for the hill. Recent bad eating caught up to me about 2/3 of the way up. Guess I need to watch that fueling, eh? Later all  |
Yesterday and today...
1) Menu set/proper food available for tomorrow - 19/21 Days Actual: Overall happiness with my food choices while we were travelling. Stayed pretty much on track (luckily I love fruits/veg!) 2) Track my nutrition daily (via SparkPeople) - 19/21 Days Actual: Done for all the items I could. A couple of things I don't have info on, so couldn't track, but satisfied nonetheless. 3) Keep my sodium intake between 500-1500 mg/day - 4/21 days (-2) Actual: One day good, one day not so much. Substracting one day on this one! 4) 15 min of some form of exercise/activity every day - 11/21 Days (-2) Actual: Lots of walking, in lovely weather. My nice-to-haves: 5) Journalizing or Blogging 6) 15-min Zone - not even home, so... Jolly - nice to have a girls' night out once in a while - good for you! Also for the jogging; I haven't gotten to that point yet, but I hope by next spring I'll be able to jog or bike. Red - They say the first 21 days are the toughest in quitting smoking - you're a third of the way through! Way to go! All you lurkers out there - hope all is well, and you're able to meet your challenges with a smile! |
Got to run...just a tally...hello to all!
Eat fat-burning foods -- Day 11 completed 3 pauses taken No smoking -- Day 9 completed |
OK. I am ready. I am starting fresh. I am . . . quite probably insane, because this is really stretching my comfort zone.
1) Daily calories 2200 or less. 3/3 pauses 2) Follow workout plan. 3/3 pauses 3) 5 servings of fruit/vegetables per day. 3/3 pauses 4) 6 hours of sleep on school nights. At least 7 hours of sleep non school nights. 3/3 pauses. I will give myself an ok if I can't count calories at a meal, but made good choices at the meal and throughout the day. I also am still working out swimming, so will have to tweak that part of my workout plan a bit. I will do this! Have a good day all  |
Posting from class, even though Ishouldn't be online. I am having major sugar cravings, even though I am not hungry. Trying to squash it with gum and diet soda. Wish me luck, and hope everyone is having a good day.
