Hi Tillie this thread will still be here if you ever want to post. I will continue to post on this (dead) thread because it holds all of my stats and reminders that I can do what I need to do to get back to a healthy weight. Oh my I haven't posted here since the beginning of the year and it is now the end of the first half of 2013.

I was reading back on some of my old post and I was pretty determined to get healthy. This was all before I found out I have Type II diabetes and was put on two doses of Metformin a day. I have done really well eating wise following a cabbage soup plan and I plan to continue to do what I can to maintain this healthy way of eating. I have even decided to get back to exercising. I tried Leslie Samsone WATP and only got in 10 minutes before my thighs started to hurt. I'm really out of shape the good news is I weighed in today at 189.6 I don't know the last time I have seen the 180's.:crossed: that they will stay a little while then leave :)

Well as of today I am back in the 180's for the forth day now. I must say it feels really good. I am eating on point but it may be due to the lack of money and food at this time. But it still feels good. I didn't think I would ever see the 180's for more than a day because I would always mess up.

I am hoping to see 185 this month and possibly get out of the 180's also. I haven't been exercising just doing low carb as my fbs have been ridiculous. The lowest I've seen is 140 or 143 and that was a complete shock. Gotta figure out how to keep it low and get it lower.

well I only loss .4 for the month. I guess I can count that as a victory since I didn't do too much damage over the holiday. I found that I can't eat as much as I use to and with what I ate for two nights I woke up with a stomach ache. So it's not worth it to need to go to the bathroom and can't. Better luck in December ;)

5-6 miles on gym days in an hours time (trying to learn to run) <--- THIS ISN'T GOING TO HAPPEN

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I had an awesome time at church last night. My husband and I got to renew our vows, with every couple at church. This always makes me smile :) My daughter and her husband brought in the NEW YEAR with us renewing their vows also. Then the we went to Waffle House for breakfast. My weight was up today to 179.0. So starting off the year with a gain but still in the 170's just barely ;) I have today to eat the last of my junk. Tomorrow I'm cutting out breads, snacks, white potatoes, rice, pasta. Giving up those things for a month, may the blessings of Lord be with me.

I kept away from all of the stuff I said and lost a total of 10.2lbs in January. I hope that I have similar results for February. I am liking the way I look and and hoping to continue this downward trend :) I'm gonna continue to not eat all of the things that aren't good for me by following a modified 4-Hour Body diet. It's easy to follow and I like it. Will have my first cheat day on 2/8 :)

I ate a two Valentine's cupcakes and two Valentine's cookie so my 169 from today (2/14) will be gone tomorrow for sure. Oh I need to add I also enjoyed dinner with the family and had mashed potatoes and peas. smh. My calories were more than doubled for the day ... new day tomorrow (2/15), new challenge ... I'm not gonna sink so I've stay afloat and swimmmmm :)

How on earth do you blow your own birthday present? Tell me that isn't just plain stupid :mad: I am so disappointed in myself. :( I think I am actually losing control of the late afternoon/evenings, smh.

I wanted to be 160 on my birthday, instead I weighed 162.4 ... I was mad because on the 12th I weighed 161.2

today I reached a new low of 161.6 :carrot: it took me from 3/30 till 4/29 to lose 1lb ... how crazy is that?

EDIT: Nope I had it wrong this is not a new low I've been lower this month ... oh well I still like the 161 better than the 162 :D

Nope I had it wrong this is not a new low I've been lower this month ... oh well I still like the 161 better than the 162 :D

Congrats Rennie! I'm sorry it took a month! I keep hearing in my head "Rennie fought the pound and Rennie won"....lol!
