Hey Everyone
This morning I was down to 147.8 - almost my pre-ticker weight. Pretty happy with that considering the crazy weekend.

My centre suggests taking the s/b and f/b about a week before to about a week after a big meal. Idea is to get it into your system at a decent level. They also suggest Platoria, and I think that one works better (it's the one I took with this past weekend), but it's more expensive.

I usually like exercise, but I've had the lazy bug lately and only go about once a week - bit of cardio and weights.

Settling in to Biggest Loser tonight with a big cup of tea. Ah, perfect evening.

I had my weigh in and i am down 3lbs..

So officially i am now 255.4

10.2 lbs lost since i started HM. Whooo hooooo

My person at the centre suggested increasing my protein at breakfast or lunch to help curb the evening hunger pains...

What kind of veggies fill you up??

I keep track of my calories on sparkpeople and some days i am not even eating 1000cals but i am eating tons of good stuff... so i need more fill veggies..

Way to go Tricia!! Awesome!!!!

I keep starches in the morning/lunch, and then protein at breakfast, lunch, dinner (I have two proteins, so two of them are usually half servings). Yeah - 1000cals is too low!! You'll slow your metabolism! I'm getting used to raw veggies. My centre says keep carrots, peas and corn to no more than 2x/week, cause they are high starch. I'm loving brocolli (which I will never be able to spell in my lifetime) and asparagus.

BUT....I got your solution....sweet potatoes/yams/pumpkin are vegetables, not a starch, and very filling. I posted a recipe for pumpkin pie without the crust earlier, and it's great. Huge serving is only one veg, 1/4dairy, 1/4 protein. Let me know if you want it and I can send it.

Hi Everyone,
I got the recipe from a blog of a local radio morning show host. Here it is - yummy!

BAKED PUMPKIN PUDDING (basically Pumpkin Pie without the crust)
2 cups pumpkin puree
1 cup skim milk
2 eggs
5 tsp Splenda Brown Sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp ginger
½ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp pumpkin pie spice

Mix well and pour into pie plate. Bake for 45 minutes about 400F or until set. Serve warm or cold, top with berries or crumbled graham crackers. Makes 4 servings (massive) – counts as 1 Vegetable, ¼ dairy, ¼ protein! (if you add graham crackers or berries, add FRUIT and STARCH).

I had a GREAT day! First of all, I now weight 146.3 - finally starting to creep back down again, and I'm still amazed after last weekend's binge. I won't bother changing the ticker until I'm 145.

And I finally got my butt to the gym. Not a great workout, (and I think I pulled my back a bit) but at least it's something. Yay!

That recipe looks awesome! No problem with the veggies now! I did my WI this morning and after running the last three morning and dragging myself out of bed to do it I was rewarded with a 0.4 lb GAIN. WTH!!
Totally ruined my day............

Looks like an awesome recipe! I will definitely try that out.

One question - have you ladies found Splenda Brown Sugar that's not a blend with real brown sugar?

HM Junkie - no, I haven't found a brown sugar that isn't a blend. I pretend just not to see that on the package Actuallly I figure it's really not that much.

Kopytko - congrats - you probably just gained .4 pounds of muscle

Good luck with the philosophy Tricia - you've really motivated me to never take it!

It's funny you guys mention the brown sugar because I didn't realize it was a blend either. I used it for the Baked Berry French Toast Recipe and I questioned the center because it said packages and I have never seen it in a package. Apparently Sweet 'n' Low has a brown sugar but I haven't been able to find it. I just ignore the "blend" too LOL
