My treadmill is being assembled as we speak! It seems to be a slow process..... but hey, it is free-- well, not really-- I fed them pizza and chinese before they started. (Bad for me).

Colleen, I am glad your family is on the road to recovery. I tend to agree with your DH, you sure don't want to be bouncing around after having teeth removed. And, I am glad the tax fairy was kind. You know the whole motorcycle deal, we bought 2 last year, but one was 2 weeks too early for the incintive Oh well, such is life. \

CC: You are doing great on your plan of eating! That is awesome! For you and DH! Mine does not know it, but he is putting together his own torture devise (lol).

Hey Holly, how are ya?

Tammy

Well, the treadmill is up..... but the belt is slipping. After 3.5 hours last night..... I told DH to just fix the belt today. It is walkable, but not okay for running just yet.

You know, yesterday I was thinking--- and that always gets the people around me in trouble. Lol. I really think my body is rebelling and it is staying sore most of the time. I think I am going to have to slow it down a little and just take the last 10 pounds in stride. I want them off...... but I am spinning my wheels. I will continue to do boot camp..... but ONLY once per day and running every other day. I am going to work on my calories (which I do pretty well during the week) and just go from there. I don't want to be a "failure", but this whole thing is getting to me. I am coming to terms if I don't lose anymore weight, I am not going to "die". My waist ratio is at a healthy size, even if the charts show I am slightly over my BMI. I am just a big ball of stress right now.......

So, how are y'all?

Default Stress

Well, I don't think that anyone needs any extra stress! I'm kind of glad you are taking it a little slower Tammy. You have come so far, and are doing so well. Those last few pounds must really be stubborn ones! You'll get there, no doubt. You must be all be made of pure muscle! Some day I would like to be disappointed that I can't RUN on a treadmill! I can't RUN to the bathroom without huffing and puffing at this point!!

DS has his 21st birthday today. I made him, to go along with his $, a labeled 21st Birthday Barf Bucket!! Filled with all of the goodies that he will need to tend to a hangover! Head ache remedy, eye drops, paper towels, 7-Up, an orange, chicken soup, Gatorade, mints, body wash... We're going out for supper, and I'm sure he and some friends will stay for a "few" celebration drinks.

Holly, hi, haven't heard from you.

CC, how's the plan going with DH helping?

Looks like another beautiful day out. Sun is bright. Really it's VERY cold out in reality.

Enjoy your day!

Colleen, that is freaking funny about the barf bucket. My son turns 21 on 12/21 but he will be in Kosovo then. I will send him something creative like that.

Thanks for all the compliments, you will get there. It has taken me longer than I wanted, but it is my fault.... however I am learning more about my body and hopefully it will help me keep it off and not yo yo this time.

Holly, hey girl....miss ya. What is going on in your world?

CC, You are lucky that DH is on the wagon with ya. Even though DH will eat what I cook, he is still not "on the wagon". Oh well.

I will gab at ya later.

Default Birthday idea

Tammy, for your DS's birthday you can send a highly decorated " birthday barf bag" and lots of remedies inside! It might be easier than sending a bucket to Kosovo!

It's been a crazy slow day at work. Just a few weirdos on the phone. Some people just don't get stuff, no matter how clear it is to the rest of the world! Drives me CRAZY!

For lack of something better to do at lunch, I drove home 7 miles, to eat a sandwich. Long drive for a salami and cheese sandwich! I took soup and an orange to work with me, but that just didn't sound good today.

ARRGH I just had a whole post and pooof gone

Tammy glad to hear treadmill is up but get that slipped fixed otherwise it could be dangerous
Tammy those last 10 pounds will come off but you have to quit stressing about it because that could be hindering it coming off.... possibly

Wow my oldest son turnes 21 June 6th and I love the barf bucket idea, if you don't mind I may have to do something like that for him as well

Hi Holly, hope all is well

Well things are going great, haven't eaten off plan at all not even a little morsel off - DH has already stayed right on plan as well. Already have supper ready to go for tonight however I will stay busy this afternoon so that I don't want to snack even though I don't have anything in the house to snack on ......

Well girls I will check back in later

Hello!!! sorry I've been MIA. Everything's good

Tammy, I agree, please don't stress about the last 10. You have accomplished sooo much already. Damn those charts, right, they say I am overweight and that's why i want to push for 151 or 152 instead of 156 or 157. You have a healthy ratio then that is great for now.

congrats on the treadmill but I hope the slipping belt is not a problem!

Hi Colleen, lol at the weird people on the phone. I am glad you grandma was moved to a diff facility. And YAY that the tax fairy was kind!

Reda, WAY TO GO that your eating is so on plan!!! and your exercise, even with the schedule from **** that you have.

We are getting DUMPED with snow!!! we've been so spoiled all winter, with hardly any storms. Now this one. Lost power for about 3 hours during the night but at least it was during the night, right. Well we woke up to 13 inches of snow; at least another 6 or so has come down since then; and it's still snowing. And I read heavy winds tomorrow. So I've stockpiled on jugs of water for flushing in bathroom. and we have bottled water for drinking and for coffee. ANd I vacuumed and used as much electricity today as I could

Oh and yes Colleen, I 'recovered' from my Saturday night in about 24 hours You know what made it so much worse? I didnt drink any water while I was drinking my beers; and I didn't drink water before I staggered to bed. Makes a big difference. LIve and learn!

well, this is totally out of routine for me but I haven't exercised yet (usually do it between 8 and 9 am) so I really need to do it now before all the troops come home

pretty sure I told you I did NOT exercise Sunday morning (because of hangover) but that was the first day I haven't worked out in Feb.!

You guys are NOT going to believe this...... speaking of stress. Well, guess what...... here we go with the school and the motorcycle again. It is day 2 of him driving the Harley...... and they are harassing him again. Said he cannot park there even though he has a parking permit b/c he is in the 9th grade (even though he is a LEGAL driver with a motorcycle endorsement). They said they had a teacher go straight to the superintendent that is what prompted this. Wayne went up there in uniform and told them their handbook says nothing of the sort, their reply was "I know it is being changed now". I cannot tell you how flipping mad I am. So, DH is going to the superintendents office. My question is..... I wonder where that nosey teacher was last year when faculty was driving around my son while he was on the ground with his motorcycle on top of him? I soooo want to take off work and go up there. I don't care if they are changing the stupid handbook...... I will take it to the school board, the news paper, whatever I have to do! I am soooo mad.

Okay, I am going to calm down a bit... maybe. Thank you guys so much for helping me realize I need to de stress and not worry about the last 10.

Holly, when it rains it pours.... or snows. Lol. I hope you do not lose power. I know you will get right back on your exercise routine.

Reda, I am sooo proud of you and your eating. I know it is HARD!

Colleen, I am bad about bringing lunch and not wanting it...... but I don't think I have driven that far for a salami sandwhich. Lol.
It is sunny and COLD here too I knew last Friday it would not last as far as riding.

I have thought about riding my motorcycle to the school in the AM...... but I know better. I don't want Ms. Dyna to be towed.

I will gab at you more later.

Wow Tammy I would be throwing a fit and going to school board as well, that is jus plain ridiculous that they can not drive a motocycle but yet they can drive a car???? Never had a problem at all - shoot my youngest even had his permit while in 8th grade and they never said a word when he took his motocycle to school, again that is just stupid

Wow Holly so you are getting all the snow that missed us - I was just so happy it went around us but didn't pay any attention to where it was going, we are having super cold weather like below 0 again this week and I am having to get gas every 2 days lets just say brrrr

Well no snacks today and decided to have 97% lean hamburger with lettuce and tomato wrap and an orange, since cutting back on portions the only day I had a headache was Monday but I have been good since and haven't even had any hunger pangs, thank goodness the scale better be good to me this week but not getting on till Friday or Saturday

Oh ya I do the water thing when drinking beer a glass of water with a bottle of beer and it really does help

just to funny about using up alot of electricy today just in case but hey your are ready if the power would go out- and being stuck at home on your days off has to be the pits.....

Well I suppose I should go get my lunch together and packed for tomorrow
Have a great night

Holly, I am sorry there is a threat of you losing power. Trust me.... I empathize with you... after our time last year with no power, it is rough. But this year when we had that threat.... I am sure I looked like some kind of electricity maniac running through the house trying to soak it all up while I had it..... and it turned out to be okay.

CC, you are rocking that eating program! You and DH will be slim and trim by riding season!

Colleen, how are you today?

Well, I found out that it was not only DS they targeted this time.... there were a few 9th graders. I wanted to take it all the way to the supreme court.... lol, but DH is not as hot headed as I am He found him somewhere to park across the road on private property..... So, he will be back on the bike tomorrow. This was not prompted by the teacher btw, it was the superintendents granddaughter and she was telling on another "click" of girls she did not like..... so it was not the motorcycle target. Still stupid!

I am going to make it short today. Don't feel well.

Good afternoon, the snow stopped falling last night thank goodness! and no more today. I don't see those 60 mph winds that were predicted, also thank goodness...got out and did errands and some grocery shopping, laundry done (but not put away yet) today's exercise was The Biggest Loser Cardio, with Bob and Jillian (30 minutes)

Tammy, sorry you don't feel well today hope you feel better soon!!

Reda, WTG on staying on plan!! and yes I have heard that vodka is the 'lesser of evils' in the drink world, a few less carbs and sugar. Hope you get to have a little nap before going out.

Hey girls, just got home and yes I did have vodka and crystal light-surprising enough it was good, I am not a liquor drinker usually only beer acutally mich ultra- however I did go off plan I ate good but had 3 vodka and lemonades which each drink was only 10 calories so I should be fine but who knows......

Holly glad the snow stopped and your power stayed on and you got to get out and about today Oh and the wind glad you did not have to put up with that we have had a lot after our snow fall and it makes the roads trecherous(spelling)

Ok well girls I really should get off here and get to bed have to get up way to early in the morning

have a graet Friday- TGIF

good morning chicks today I did 30 Day Shred level 3; I have to say that, since I haven't done it in about 2 weeks, with doing other tapes, that I could feel a difference. It was still a supreme challenge, don't get me wrong, but cross-training is the way to go.

What is NOT the way to go is the way I've been eating, WHY have I been having bowls of cereal in the evening...no excuse except weak will, and that the cereal is actually in the house and its Lucky Charms. Sugary carby crap! so yet again I hopefully pack a sensible lunch and 2 snacks for work, let's see how I do today

I'm beating myself up today aren't it

TGIF to those who have the weekend off! hope we all have an in-control day.
