Stupid bounce-up! An even two pounds up from last week but I know it's not real -- had two people, one of them my husband, saying that my weight loss was apparent.
Could be the muscles holding water again from a week back at hot yoga after having been away for a week. Whatever -- I had one of those moments walking past a mirror and thinking, holy smokes, where'd my tummy go? I feel like I've been on the go for the last week and a half straight. Today's the first day I didn't go biking after the gym and I REALLY wanted to and could of, but I'm so tired from my midnight bike ride last night. Bed soon! Gwen Don't be discouraged. Maintaining in a week is MUCH better than a gain. Arabella I pay more attention to how I feel in my clothes than anything. The scale fluctuates daily. I'm also noticing when I go out I tend to get more attention from guys than I did before. It's a nice reminder of my progress. natamars You're just about to your goal weight! How does it feel? |

I've given up on the scale... still says 193. Just too depressing for now. I'm staying OP and working out almost everyday. I'll give it a month before I go back to the scale. |
Yay Gwen! Thanks so much for the encouragement. You really deserve a lot of credit for sticking it through on this plateau. And that's all it is - a temporary plateau. I was soooo tired of bouncing up and down the same 1 dang pound. I finally got a hold of myself and realized if I just STICK WITH IT, eventually the scale has to budge. It will for you, too - I promise! Hang in there - we're here to cheer you on!! :hug:

I'm eating all my Points+ and all my weekly points and sometimes dipping into my activity points. Maybe I'm under reporting my exercise? I'm not complaining, losing so much weight when I'm doing so much with that goal in mind is awesome; I'm just more concerned I'm being unhealthy somehow. I feel like maybe WW largely overestimates how many points alcoholic beverages actually are worth, because just about all of my banked weekly points go towards booze (a lot of booze) on the weekend. We'll see. I'm not that willing to change the habits I've acquired just yet. Gwen Thank you! I know how hard it can be to have the scale not budge. I had that happen to me several years back during one of my many weight loss endeavours for a good month straight and it was incredibly disheartening. I wish I could send my weight loss juju to you! Don't give up! natamars Don't be too hard on yourself over a .5lb gain. That could easily be water retention, or a bowel movement (TMI? lol), etc, etc. I'm sure you'll have a loss next week. Still looking for that loss. I'm down from last week but last week was one of those undeserved bump-ups. I know I'm gaining muscle from hot yoga but I want to see the weight go DOWN.

So I lied. I couldn't resist the scale this morning and it blessed me with a reading of 192!!! Oh, so excited for such a small loss, but FINALLY!!! It's been over a month since I last saw that number it's back again. MAYBE, just MAYBE, I can keep the loss going... :?: I've been watching every bite and exercising almost daily, sometimes twice a day. WHY is this so hard?
