Oh Vonni I hope they can get to the bottom of it soon!
Everything with me is crazy at the moment. I moved back into my mum's place during the weekend. The bloke has come too and we're hoping to save some money living there for a while. Work is insanely busy. I'm going to Nelson to work for a week from next Monday and am also about to start studying. I've got so much on I don't know if I'm coming or going!
Food has been pretty dismal. I did go for a run last night though so that's a good start to getting back on the right track.
Obviously I need to take this weight-loss thing one day at a time - and to get my mind back into a place where I am able to really focus on what is right.
Today has been good - less than 1700 calories. I am off work at the moment - I tore my achilles tendon just over a week ago and have been getting physio and stuff ever since. It is just a partial tear so I am hoping to go back to work, on light duties, later this week.
Ouchie that doesn't sound good Ani! Hope you get better soon. Glad to see you back anyway!
I'm going to be studying communication by correspondence. First time I've studied in over 10 years so I'm a bit nervous!
Went for another run last night. Well, a jog really because I'm very slow! At least I'm getting out there though Last night I did 5 mins walking, 15 mins jogging, 15 mins walking.
Tonight I'm going to my old flat to clean the bathroom ... the first of a long list of jobs before handing the keys back on Monday.

Hi all!
I thought I posted earlier, but it ain't here! Power was flickering at tad with a storm then so maybe it had an effect?
I'm still feeling pretty crappy - I am into my third week of an icky chest infection. Onto my third course of antibiotics and into my third week of sick leave from work!
Diet is out the window...exercise is non-existant! I can't even walk to my front gate without becoming short of breath!! I struggle to sit up here for any duration without feeling the room spinning!
I want to get on top of my chest infection and then seriously work on my weight-loss. I gave up the junkmail round, so now I have no (NO!!) excuse not to prepare healthy meals in the evening!

I'm not in hospital because I have made it very clear that will resist admission for as long as I possibly can!
So long as I can still look after myself I will stay at home! I have absolutely nobody here to look after Mista if I am unable to and I really, really do not want to put him in kennels!
After two doses of Augmentin Duo Forte, I can this morning say I think I feel a tad better. But, I did feel a little better after the first few doses of the previous antibiotic before going down again. Hoping this time I am going to get on top of it!!!
I'm taking Augmentin Duo forte too Lindor - rampant sinus infection. Maybe you needed a follow-up script or something, sometimes one lot isn't enough.
It's 42ºC today here in downtown Perth. Blurk! Yuk! Hideous!
I've set myself the goal that when I drop 10kg I will reward myself with 10 days in Bali. So it's totally up to me whether I get to go on holiday this year, or whether I continue to eat/gain weight/get annoyed/have two good days/reward myself with wrong food…
I've had two good days in a row and intend to keep going with it. I am hoping to drop SOME weight this week, and to get myself on the right track. At this rate, the way the temperature is rising outside, I will have sweated out 20kg by lunchtime
Anyway - off to the physio to have my achilles stretched and tortured again.
No running last night but I did 2 hours of vigorous cleaning and boy did I sweat. I'll be doing more of the same tonight. Can't wait until we hand the keys back! Unfortunately we've been renting thru a real estate agency and they're over the top picky with regards to house inspections so we're doing a total blitz to be sure to get our bond back.

Hi UpsyDaisy, welcome to Aussie Chicks. You aren't the first Aussie in the States to join us, so of course you can join.
I am off the wagon at the moment, and down with a chest infection, but hoping to get on board again soon. I don't follow any strict dieting, I want to allow myself to eat whatever I want...I just need to work on portion control and eating in moderation. When things get tough I turn to food - and lots of it! I need to work on that 'reaction'.
So, what are your objectives? Where are you in your weight-loss journey, and where do you want to be?
The ladies here are supportive, and chatty. I hope we can be of some help to you
hiya guys just a flying visit sitting dead on 100 kilos so 35 kilos lost here is a new piccy of me feeling pretty "HOT" lol
here is the old one if you are brave
sorrry to just fly in and out but im too busy to stop.. hope you are all ok.. will have my head out of my bum tommorrow and will be reading the latest.. ok bye
Welcome upsydaisy! Hope you find a nice home with us here
Amy you look absolutely incredible. You must be so proud!
I'm now all moved out of my flat and thank god that's done. The flatmate was supremely unhelpful and I ended up having to do almost all of the cleaning GRRRR.
Now I'm in another city for the week for work and I'm feeling exhausted and very stressed.
I've brought my gym gear with me and aim to go for a walk tomorrow after work now that I'm settled into my motel.

I'm just out of hospital after a three night admission - "Atypical Pneumonia with associated severe headache"
It was the skull cracking headache that had me at ED early Wednesday morning - CT showed a lesion suspicious of an arterial malformation with a clot. MRI later ruled that out and the focus became my four week chest infection. Doctors are baffled because so far all my pathology, lumbar puncture and chest xray have come back normal (apart from my Liver Function Tests that were slightly elevated - consistant with an infection). Further bloods have been sent away for investigation for more uncommon causitive agents for my infection - these results are still pending.
I was discharged today, feeling somewhat better than Wednesday but very exhausted.
Have eaten very little since Tuesday but was maintained with IV fluids...might have lost some weight huh?
Hope everyone else is doing ok here? Seems very quiet again.
