TinyTina, you may be at a plateau, just stick with it and your body will give in eventually!

Well I went camping this last weekend but I wasn't feeling all that well so the camp food wasn't too appealing. Since this is my first weigh in I knew I would be down quite a few pounds, water weight etc. I'm at 149.1, I'm going to round it down to 149, I'll keep track of fractional pounds later when I am not losing a lot. Which is usually what happens after I diet for awhile. Anyway, doing ok today, need to get to the gym tonight but it's dang hot here, hopefully I won't wilt before my hubby gets home to relieve me of my motherly duties so I can work out. Hope everyone has a great day. Check in more often so we can keep encouraging eachother!
Hello!! Sorry about the camping food, I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff, haha. I could eat hot dogs off the grill all day (not recommended though!!) Did you start at 153?? If so, I'll add you to our weight loss goal, yay! I've actually been at my parents for the last two days, it was their 30th wedding anniversary...I hope WE make it that far! I don't believe I've lost anything, but I'll weigh in forst thing tomorrow. Time to get back on the wagon. I saw pictures of myself two years ago at my bachelorette party and I was down to 140...I looked so good!!! That's my new motivation for this week. Have a good day ladies!

Hi everyone! I am really excited about weighing in Friday. I think my 0.6 was a fluke or I was retaining water or something, because if today's number holds out...let's just say it will be a good week. I tend to go up and down, so we shall see.

On a bright note, today was the last day of summer school, so I am free until August! Lots to do, though. We put a purchase agreement on a new house and land for the critters and we have to pack. I will be busy! Hope everyone is having a great week.

Yes TinyTina, I did start at 153. I also, have a picture of me at like 135 at my wedding and i want to be there again! The picture sits right next to my laptop so I am looking at it everytime I am on here!! I will get there again.

Can't wait for your weigh in HelloNurse, I'm sure it will be a good one!

Just for everyone's info, I'm sure you've already heard of this site but I use it to track my food and calories during the day www.thedailyplate.com it's really great and helps keep me on track. I have a hard time doing it during the school year but now that I'm home it has really helped me stay on the wagon. I've done really good since coming home from camping so I'm hoping to keep that up, even on the 4th. Good luck everyone! Stay strong during the holiday!

I lost 2 pounds. I am happy because 2 lbs/week is my goal, but a little bummed because at my mid-week check in I was down 4! I was hoping for at least 3.4 to make up for falling short last week, but I am still thrilled about 2 lbs. I am getting to that point where it is hard to lost 2 per week (hence the 0.6 last week), so I am thankful for whatever I get!

Congrats Skinnycow, that is one more pound gone forever! Hope everyone else had a good week.

Ladies I'm so proud of both of you!! I have been going through some rough stuff the past 3 weeks and I'm finally seeing the light. I think now that the emotional problems are being dealt with constructively I'll be able to get back on the wagon. You ladies give me hope that if you keep plugging away, we will reach our goals!

Hello Nurse, I'm so happy about your new house, etc! That's so exciting!

That's great!! I'll post it.

***********

So, today I started over. I had gained a few pounds back, stopped eating right, and stopped exercising for misc. reasons, but I'm going to try again! That's all we can do. I've eaten good so far, and I plan to go to the gym later this afternoon. I hope everyone is doing well

Sounds like everyone is doing a great job on the weight loss front! We must keep at it I am down to 130 but my progress is slowing as I get smaller. No more big drops for me.

Haven't had much time to post because the kids are involved in so many things. Fortunately things will slow down when August rolls around-atleast until school starts up again. I can hardly wait!

Sending will power dust to all! Keep up the fantastic work

233. I lost another pound.
We did VBS at our church this week. and for snack each day they had nachos and cheese, brownies, pizza bites, cookies, or ice cream. I resisted temptation and just drank water while my group had their snack. I am so proud of myself.

Congrats Skinnycow! 3 lbs is great.

I am down to the upper 120's but it changes all the time so I am just gonna be happy with that. I've discovered that just about any pair of size 4 jeans fits now and even some 2's. That is like a major thing for me considering I'm 44 and not getting any younger, LOL.

I'm not sure where everyone has been, probably really busy. Hopefully we'll see some posts in the near future. On the bright side, only 4 weeks until school starts. Obviously I have kids at home

We just got our invitation to our annual back to school meeting for bus drivers. There is an open route at the school my kids go to. I am considering bidding for it but am not sure if I want to. Its at our South Transporation location which is farther from my home and the middle school attached to the route is a notoriously bad place to drive out of. I am a bit spoiled at the North Transportation Center and have a nice bus up here. Atleast nice for my seniority level, LOL Its a 2004 Bluebird All American. I know that doesn't mean much to non bus drivers but its much better than a 2001 International which is probably what I would get out South.

Well keep up the great work Skinnycow! You should be proud of what you've accomplished so far
