I don't have a whole lot to report other than that I'm feeling exeptionally blah and ended up having half of Wednesday and all of Thursday off work sick so no gym for me. I have stuck to my points though and that's my main focus while I'm feeling like this.

Good to see so many people back Amy it sounds like you're really powering on ahead! Good on you.

Here's a photo of my latest tattoo, it's not finished yet but you'll get the idea ...

I had yesterday off work - took a sickie because I had lifted around 8 tons of fertiliser the day before, and I was stuffed.

I've decided to change my weigh-in days to Fridays. It just makes sense to me that I weigh in at the end of the week, when I am most likely to record a lower weight than after a weekend.

So I will weigh in next Friday, and I am very confident that I'll break that bloody 75kg hoodoo by then!

Good grief - I just heard on the news that "one in four Australians are obese" , and that another 25% are overweight.

Julia I wish my back looked like yours - I've still got a bit of really annoying back fat. Grrr!

Kel good to see you got home safe. Not surprised you picked up a lurgy - travel does that, and there are a lot of winter bugs in Perth this year.

Amy you're on fire ! I'm really proud of you.

Kylie are you a vegetarian?

Hey Gen are you following a plan? What are you up to?

Vonni - you're avoiding answering my question you cheeky bugger. Don't think I haven't noticed!!!

Harro Everyone!

That Tat is hot young lady! I love it.

Just another quick one (aren't they all). Ani, I'm definitely a carnivore, but haven't been able to afford meat. I just like lentils I guess

Finished my first week at work. There's a really strong coffee culture, so I'm going to switch to skinny milk and drop a sugar. I'll attempt coffee + no sugar a week later.

It turns out that I walk 15-17kms a week, just walking to and from work (and the post office). That's a **** of a lot more than I used to, so I think its a good start.

Running off again. Its 21st Birthday season, running around like a headless chook.

loves xx

Julia that tatt is amazing. he sure is a great artist huh?.. wow ... and you look amazing too..

Ani that means half of australia are over weight then.. omg that is alot more then you would think ..

Kel i hope you and jem feel better soon .

Ive had an interesting couple of day thursday I went for me swim again while Leah was at kindy 2 hours of laps.. but all the fun started that afternoon.. it was a reall sh*t i tell ya.. Cameron slipped on the concreete and slammed the car door shut on three of Leahs fingers .. 3 hours at the hospital later i foundout it has a small crack in it.. which was no suprise since wehn the door was opened it was completly the wrong shape.. the tip was pointing backwards on her index finger at the joint.. the crack is just above the joint.. they say it must have dislocated at the joint and cracked going back in.. ouch.. Cameron felt awful he cryed longer then she did and when the police brought an old drunk into the waiting room.. Cameron started bawling "there going to arrest me " he wailed lol..
So we left the hospital at 730.. the kids are hungry and we had to get John from the airport at nine so no time to cook.. i grabbed some noodles from the sushi shop in the way home.. we quickly ate and got changed and went out..
Driving to the airport both me and Leah developed a rash... omg.. what a day .. by the ime we got to the airport Leah was having an asthma attack.. and her rash was red hot.. she was starting to swell up.. OMG just once can i not f*ckign cook.... NO!! lol / Luckily i had her allergy meds in the car.. i gave her th phenergen and ventolin and we went in to pick up Daddy .. She was miserable.. the phenergen makes her feel like crap.. i loked like crap Cameron was still upset and the stupid plane came in 25 minutes late..

Leah spent the whole 25 minutes crying.. and laying on my lap.. her face hurt her hand hurt her chest her.. and her breathing was still not fabulous .. When the plane came in it appered everyone had got off.. and No John.. Leah lost it.. she was crying with the shaky haevy breathign really really upset.. !0 minutes after everyone had got off this poor ols gentle men that could hardly walk got ioff the plane and the 20 poeple that were stuck behind him got off .. along with John..

We all looked a mess Cameron was upset Leah was crying and i was covered in a bright red rash all over my face.. lol And then he saw her hand.. .. lmao.. yay.. of course its my fault dont you know it.. I thought **** now we are going to argue all the way home.. but i think John sensed i was past it.. and if he started i may just kill him.. lol

Friday i took leah to playgroup while John slept most the day away ..
and yesterday we had agreat day out took the kids to the railway museum.. then to semiphore.. and they went on a beautiful old carousel.. i wish i had taken my camera becuase Leah loved it she smiled and laughed the whole way around.. its was pure magic.. she was so happy it put a tear in my eye, just beautiful.. she told her horsey she'd see him tommorrow as we left lol.. as we left there a light plane flew over head and threw out 2 rolsl of toilet paper.. omg what a scream.. it was so funny.. Cameron made fart noses and toilet Jokes all the way to the park.. (we saw a nice park on the way to the port ) The kids had a play and we went for a walk around the lake.. at the back of the lak is a lookout we went up there and discovered some real horses on the other side .. one camer over for the kids to pet it .. so they were very happy. On the way back to the car Leah said her legs didnt work anymore lol . We had planned to go to harbour town on the way home becuase John wanted some runners but we didnt and Leah fell asleep as we passed it ..

great day great fun.. and leah is manging very well depite heer finger ....

anyway gotta run.. lunch at the inlaws today.. have a great day girls

The fact that I am posting might mean something significant...and it might not.

I'm over 200lb.
I eat sh*t!!
I eat like a pig!
I drink no water.
I hate that I am like this!!

There, that was the first step...I just wonder in which direction it has led me.

Kel, about the meat thing? Being on my own now with the kids I have had to be a bit more careful with the money. At woolies you can get beef meatballs (16 of them) for $4.99. That would do you several meals. Meatballs with some pasta sauce on a bed of spaghetti. I worked it out to be $2.00 a meal for each of us. woohoo. Also now at woolies you can get sizzle steak. Again just $4.99. It is really really thin, but perfect for flipping quickly in the pan and having it with yr veges. Not sure how may pieces are in the pack, about 8 I think. It's eal nice to do a stirfry with also and a thin steak sandwich. Now a chicken breast can be cut in half to do you 2 meals. Or alternatively buy a pack of NOT CRUMBED chicken breast schnitzels. A pack is around $6-$7 and has about 5 pieces. You don't have to have yr meat as the pain part of yr meal, just a side is great. I reality we are supposed to only have 100gm at the most a serve anyhow.

Now Ani about the 1 in 4 Aussies obese and overweight..... In 2003 60% of Australians were overweight. Thats horrible huh? Yet our clothing size standards are getting smaller.

Ok, so now for the slightly-less-excited post.

Lindor, hon, I've just done the exact same thing. I've been back in the forums for only a few pages. And I'm 100kg, eat **** because I've been unemployed, and was generally treating myself like crap. So don't feel alone.

Maybe we could have a good proper chat and work something out together?

*mwah* really glad to see you.

Great to see you back Lindor. Sorry to hear you sounding down though
I'm glad you came back here anyway, I hope that we can help you get back on track.

Amy it sounds like you have had a terrible run! I hope things are nice and calm now.

I hear you all about meat being expensive. Tis true that Vonni says though about a real serving size of meat being small. On weight watchers, one serving of meat is 120g and that = 3 points. I'm trying to rely on veggies to fill me up and have meat purely as my source of protein.

I'm still feeling a bit sick and I neglected my food diary for the last few days of last week but I did manage to go to the gym yesterday and I'm glad that I made the effort even though I didn't feel like it.

Goals for today: 1) Keep my food diary. 2) Stick to my points. 3) Go to the gym tonight.
