Hey all. Glad to see so many people posting. I've just been out of the loop, but do stop in to see how things are. I've been doing a lot of things son my own without declaring a challenge, but should get my butt back in here to be accountable on a daily basis. I continue the daily log and have added daily "intentional walking." My weight is coming down again, thank God! Well, I'll think of some challenges and check in later. Take care, all!

Hey all. I oopsed yesterday. I forgot to do my abs - I wasn't feeling good after my chiropractic appointment. I made sure I did them today though.

So: Day 20 - daily logging and daily posting
Day 19 - daily abs
Day 17 - daily exercise

I went to Marquette for a law school admission seminar today. I really was excited by it. Now to figure out how to make my application stand out. Only 25% of those who apply get accepted

Have a good night all

Hey all. Shy, thanks. I appreciate it. If it is meant to be, it will be I guess. I hope so.

Well, on a bad note, I did not make it to the gym today, so that challenge will have to start over. On a good note, it is day 21 for daily posting and daily food journaling. Yeah. And day 20 for daily abs. I will start new challenges after that one is finished.

Everyone, have a good night

Once again I've got to make this quick. I finished my 21 days of exercise, but have to start over on the calories. At least I can start over with a clean slate today. I'll post later to state my new challenges.

It's me, crawling back in....
Halloween craziness (I have 3 kids!) kind of threw me off track. I was doing pretty well to. Rats. But I'm back, and here we go again!
No beer, 2 pauses allowed
30 min exercise, 2 pauses allowed
I think thats all for now. I want to do South Beach phase 1, but I have lots of food that would go stale or rotten if I don't eat it. I will limit carbs, especially sugar, and kick up the protien. And eat less in general. I now have 2 months until Hawaii and that is not a lot of time to reach my goal. Especially with the holidays.. oh please, let something click....

Happy Monday!!

Day 13 (Monday)
Workout - Done
Diary Tracking - Done

Day 12 (Sunday)
Workout - Day off (though I did walk my dog for a couple miles anyway, I felt guilty not doing anything!)
Diary Tracking - Done

It's the begining of another CRAZY week & I don't have much time! I weighed in this morning & have dropped a little more, so I'm down 17 pounds now! Woohoo!

Apple - Glad you're back!! I couldn't do the SB diet, apparently I'm not good with reducing my carbs that much. I have issues with low blood sugar and I passed out on day 3 of the diet. So much for that one! Don't give up though, you'll find a way to make it work!

Sorry I don't have time to talk to everyone, but I'm thinking of you all - hope you're having a great day!!

HEy all. Real quick post for me too.

Day 21 - daily abs. That challenge is complete now too. Will be starting new challenges.

I didn't make it to the gym again today, but as I did the bulk of relocating an office and training area, I think that counts. My muscles say it counts anyway

Have a good one all

Talking

Hey ladies, sorry I haven't checked-in in a while. I fell off the wagon with all my challenges completely, so rather than start over I looked at WHY I feel off, made some changes, so far so good. A BIG PART of my problem was not having food at home. I hadn't made time to go grocery shopping.....So I finally went, and I am back to packing my lunch, so the vending machine, 's and staying under the 2000 calorie limit has been ok. Since I'm packing my food again, I am also not buying as much food as before.

Good Luck with everything

Hello Ladies!!

Day 14
Workout - Done
Diary tracking - Done

I hope everyone is doing well today. About this time of the day I feel a little sluggish...I'd like to take a nap every day after lunch! I went to the mall & Sports Authority looking for some aerobic/dance shoes. I want something light that I can actually move around in. I have big feet anyway and the shoes I have seem to enhance that and I keep tripping over my own feet when I'm working out. I couldn't find what I was looking for so I had to order them online. BUT, I was able to get some workout clothes that were on sale in a size smaller & they fit! Woohoo!!

jolly - congrats on completing your challenge!!

Shy - Woman, just how many challenges do you have going!?!

Obie - That was smart of you to re-evaluate your challenges! So, are staying under 2000 calories and away from the vending machine new challenges for you?

Ok...job is calling, gotta go. Have a great day!

Hey all. Just a quickie

Here are the challenges I will be starting tomorrow. All will be level 3.

1) Follow my menu

2) Daily workouts (Maybe I can get it right this time!)

3) 3 sets of abs daily at home.

4) Daily posting

I was going to do a no soda challenge, but that just isn't happening. Wish me luck all. My law school applications are almost finished and ready to submit. Also, because I had a bad case of wantnewcaritis, I am seeing if I can roll the last bit of car payment in on a new baby SUV. If it is meant to be . . .

Have a good night!

Good Afternoon! Wow, you guys are quiet today!

Day 14
Workout - Done!
Diary Tracking - Done!

I'm down another pound...woohoo! STILL waiting for Turbo Jam to arrive at my house...seems like I ordered it months ago! I've been going steady with Kathy Smith's Project You though. I've finally worked through all of the pieces to it. I have to tell you the Upper & Lower body workouts are TOUGH! I'm definitely going to keep those mixed in with my workout, even when I start Turbo Jam. I can't stand it that I'm not able to actually do everything & on some things I have to do the easy version...I just can't have that!! LOL I've gotta be able to get through the challenging version before I move on!

Shy - You go girl! I can barely keep up with what I have!!

jollygirl - You're tackling a lot of challenges too, how's the first day going?
OMG - a new SUV??? I want a new car too, I came close to going out and just doing it a few months ago & talked myself out of it...that's how it became my ultimate weight loss reward! So...do you have a new car now? Good luck with the law school apps., I'm keeping you in my prayers

I hope everyone else is doing well. Have a great day!

Hey all. Day one, all challenges met for the day. The daily abs was a tough one, and I almost skipped it, because my workout was a cardio fusion class tonight. I hurt But, I did them.

And yes all, I did bring home my early Christmas present. It would have been smarter to wait, and maybe make it a reward too, Nikki, but impulse control has never been my strong point. Plus, I do put a lot of miles on my car, so it wasn't a horrible thing.

I love it!!!

Have a great night all.

Ok, I'm back. Just had that urge to take a couple days off and not worry about anything. Still did pretty good on calories though and never stopped exercising!

I'm starting my new challenges today and am only going to work on 2 of my biggest issues. First one is back to counting those calories and the other one is no snacking after dinner.

Jolly - Enjoy the new ride!

Shy - You're doing great with all those challenges! Good job.

Nikki - Wow, another pound. You're just rolling right along! Did you get your TJ yet? If you like to dance, you should like TJ. I decided to order some more Firm workouts for myself. I kept debating what I wanted and then got an email about the Firm having a clearance on VHS workouts and got 9 of them! That should keep me from gettnig bored for a while.

Have a great day all!

Hey Guys!

Day 15
Workout - Done!
Diary Tracking - Done!

Yep, I started TJ this morning! I love it! I'm just glad I was doing it alone because I kept messing up the combinations and must've looked like a spaz! LOL I went to Clinique today and had my colors done - $75 later...I'm walking out with all new stuff! Yikes, didn't mean to spend that - but at least it was actually on all stuff that I needed to replenish (at least that's what I'm telling myself!) I wear make-up every day, but I'm not usually THIS made up, I never wear mascara & they put it on me...now my eyelashes keep sticking together! LOL

So, Jolly...why must you keep me in suspense? What kind of car did you get?? Good for you on getting through your ab challenge, sorry you're hurting though...I guess this is where figuring out that balance comes in.

djstorey - I'm trying to roll right along! With TJ, there's a new meal plan, which is saying I need about 400-500 calories more than I've been taking in. I'm not sure how I feel about that! I think maybe I'll increase a little more since I'm working out harder and adjust later if I need to. Good luck with your new challenges!

Shy: I know, I've said this before...you & your Mountain Dew, it cracks me up. I think of you now when I'm in the store passing the soda section or near a vending machine! LOL

I hope everyone else is doing well! Have a great day...it's almost Friday - woohoo!!

Hey all. The new ride is a 2008 Ford Escape.

Met all challenges for the day. Unfortunately though, I made a bad choice of food porn tonight, which won't help my sleep problems.

Have a good one all.
