They have finaly decided it is a bronchial virus I have. I will end up with something all winter. Always this way if I get sick before Nov 9th. Oh well, such is life.
|
Rennie--Hi see your egglight aglow. Feel better soon. I'vefinally gotten the doctor talked into letting me have the allergy meds that I need all year round.
So far I haven't had any of the "bronchial stuff". Mel- Give Jen a lot of motherly nurturing. Shad--You'd diffinatley would not be happy here. I do most of the work, the boss get's most of the credit. It used to upset me but decided that if I can stay here 6 more years I can leave. It will take something a lot better than this for me to quit. Hello to the rest of the gang. Since 9-22-07 I've lost's 5 pound! I'm back down to 179. Yipee. One of the bosses is here. I' need to close. |
Every time they give me shots for the allergies I get sick lol.
|
Afternoon...I woke with hearing loss in my left ear today. I went to Emerg instead of work...I have a hole in my left ear drum and both ears are infected. I have antibiotics. Bummer....
|
Ouch Holly - that's painful just reading about it. Rest up (yeah, like that will happen). Don't forget to eat some yogurt so the antibiotics don't cause other problems...
Congrats on the weightloss Ceejay :yay: did all that furniture moving have anything to do with it? Bummer on the bronchial issues Rennie. Do you get a flu shot or are you always just slightly on the "something side of something" to be well enough to get one? I get my stabbing next week. Thinking of you Mel. I'm sure you're playing momma hen to Jen. Hope she's feeling better. Ruth - go in the kitchen, sit at the table and start chopping vegetables. This way you can chat with Donna and still each keep to your own work - then she has to come behind you and clean all those peelings and seeds     Next week at this time I will BE ON VACATION :yay: :yay: :yay: I am trying very hard to catch up on all my work. So back to the desk I go. :comp: :write: |
I do get the flu shot and had the phenomena shot a few years ago. It is funny. If I am not sick before Nov 9 I am not sick all winter. If I get sick before Nov 9 I am sick to one degree or another all winter.
Ceejay Forgot to say way to go on the weight loss. Sorry. Holly Oh so sorry to hear that. My son gets really bad ear infections always has. I feel so bad for you. They are so painfull. |
I CAN SAY I READ THE POSTS BUT JUST AM TOO TIREDF TO RESPOND. NO ONE SLEPT GOOD. JEN IS IN SOME KIND OF PAIN FROM HEAD TO TOE. NOTHING TO DO BUT WAIT IT OUT AND USE THE ICE PACKS. THE FIL NOW SAYS JEN IS NOT COVERED TO DRIVE THE CAR...IN FACT NEITHER IS RICHIE :faint: HE IS THE BIGGES GD AZZHOLE I HAVE EVER MET. I TOLD JEN THAT SO LONG AS SHE WILL RECOVER THAT I DON'T GIVE A FLYING FOOK WHAT HAPPENTS TO DAD OR HIS FOOKING CAR. SO AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED THE REST IS THE FIL'S PROBLEM. JOHN SAID THODAY THAT MY EYES AND FACE WILL NEVER HEAL AT THIS RATE  I AM FAIRLY CALM BUT VERY TIRED. JEN WENT FOR A WALK SO AS NOT TO GET TOTALLY LAID UP. I OF COURSE KNOW SHE REALLY WENT FOR CIGGIES. :rollpin: I CAN SEE A FIGHT BETWEEN FAMILIES COMING UP. IT DEPENDS ON THE FIL. THE FIL TOLD US THIS SUMMER IF ANYTHING EVERY HAPPENED TO ANY OF HIS CARS THEY WERE REPLACABLE....AOTHER WORDS SO LONG ASD JEN DID ALL THE ERRANDS WHO CARED. WELL I WILL HAPPILY REMIND HIM OF THAT IF HE DARES TO CALL ME. THIS TIME I AM NOT TAKING ANY SH*T FROM ANY ONE.
OTHER THAN THAT ALL MIS WELL. JUST SITTING AND WATCHING TV AND KEEPING AS CALM AS POSSIBLE :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: SORRY FOR THE RANT BUT I AM PISSED OFF...JOHN SAID BETTER THAN "ON" OF COURSE  THE BOYS WERE GREAT AS USUAL BOTH YESTERDAY AND TODAY. NO ONE LEFT HERE YESTERDAY TILL JIMMY BROUGHT JEN HOME AT JOHN'S REQUEST. THEY ALL CAME IN EARLY THIS MORNING ANF CALLED ME TOO. I TOLD ETHEM THEY ARE MAKING ME FEEL GUILTY THAT I EVER YELL AT THEM...THEY SAID THEY USUALLY DESERVE IT :lol3: SEE YA MANANA. OH....CARLA, JEN WAS ALONE IN THE CAR COMING HOME FROM THEIR FAMILY'S FRIEND WHOM SHE HAD JUST DONE ERRANDS FOR!!! IRONIC HUH??? ROFLMAO |
Melody
Hope she isn't hurt to bad. Won't insurance cover the cost of repairs and such. |
(((((Mel))))) ((((((Jen))))))
I called DH and he came home early to take DS to hockey. I made supper and now need to clean the kitchen. DD has homework and DS does too when he comes home. Both have piano theory homework. I feel exhausted and my ears really hurt. My prescription was $71.00 and I missed a days pay. sigh Frankly, i could sit down and cry. What I need to do is put in a load of wash and clean the darn kitchen. |
Holly
Am so sorry. Sit down and let DH and DS and DD make dinner when everyone gets home. |
SHAD CANNOT GET HERE DUE TO THE OFFICE COMPUTER SAYING THIS SITE IS PORNOGRAPHIC  SO HERE IS HER POST:
It seems that the porn site Fat Chicks must be active again. I haven't had problems like this for a while. But we are now lumped together again as far as the Woodside netnanny program is concerned. So for the time being I can't find out what the chicks are up to. I did get to read Ruthxxx's post through my e-mail notification from 3fatchicks and I think it is a cool idea for Lucy to give her name to a Foundation for Vets for Pets. There are so many suffering animals out there and whose owners may love them but can't afford vets bills. Aids sufferers not withstanding. The Blue Lead Brigade!!!! (Lucy had a blue lead as opposed to Hersheys red one!) Mel, wish I had a $1m that I could just whisk you and Jen away to some clean air and less despair. But alas, the oldest son borrowed the savings yesterday for a deposit in case his bid for a house was accepted. It wasn't but that's another story. I guess the money will come back later this week. It's cool, grey and overcast here in Perth. I'm told I won't be able to stand the heat when it does arrive. This I wait to see. Still being used as a political football, however I've just punted back a reply which will not please the natives, but I'm not about to get pushed around anymore. I've been there, done that and there is nothing more stubborn than a Taurean Bull (born in the Chinese year of the Ox) who has a mindset and doesn't want to deviate. That's the way I will survive this project. I really feel more relaxed today. On the question of being pushed and pulled every which way - can someone tell me why when I suggest it might be time to think of a new car, I have people (mostly male)coming out of the woodwork and telling me what I should get and why I give up the thought of the brand and type I was thinking of because it could not possibly be good for me. Everyone has an agenda it seems. Okay - thats it. I'm off to harass the masses and get something done today - they are making more progress on the building over the road than I am on this project!!! have a fun day everyone. |
Quote:
Oh man - I was wondering if she made a typo and went to FatChicks by accident. :o Actually I've gotten chastisted by the security at work innocently reading a news article on Yahoo where it didn't like one of the words in the article's title. Thanks for keeping us in the loop Mel. |
How's Jen today?
I am still completely deaf in my left ear. Skipped my meeting this morning. Work 12-8. Should be interesting with the radio on and high dryers going. Need to get the kids up and moving. |
'morning chicks,
Getting cooler and darker in the morning which brings out the mattress monster hugging me in it's grip   Why do people offer so many ideas on cars she asks? :chin: guess we all have our favorites. We've been Toyota fans since 1980. Never had a problem with any of our Toyotas yet we did have lots of service issues with our Chevy and Ford. Will never, EVER buy Ford again. Don't know about across the pond, but here it comes down to the service you get. None of the cars we had were built badly - except perhaps for the Pontiac Grand Prix that DH wanted which was in the shop 36 times in 18 months. The deciding factor comes in on servicing the car - can they fix the things that need doing and in a timely and cost effective manner? Sad to say, our experiences with American made cars it's a big honking    However, if you have been happy with a certain brand, why not stick with it? Actually I'm surprised to hear you considering a car again. Didn't you get one just a few years back? Would think it would almost be smacking brand new since you're hardly home to drive it any more? Nothing much going on in my neck of the woods today. Have to train my replacement on my old job this morning on some troubleshooting that I too care of yesterday. Then it's back to getting those reports out because after all, I AM going on vacation next week and I need some time to plan out of few things for that too. Sieze the day ladies... |
I AM SENDING ((((HUGS))) TO ALL THAT NEED THEM. I MYSELF WILL TRY AND READ POSTS TODAY. I SENT THEM IN AN E-MAIL TO SHAD SO SHE CAN KEEP UP. HER JOB IS GETTING MORE WORK LUMPED ON TOP AND SHE MIGHT HAVE TO WORK THE ENTIRE WEEKEND.
AND MISS HAPPY~ YOU WERE RIGHT ABOUT THE OTHER WEBSITE. HER PC SECURITY IS MIXING IT UP AS YOU READ. YOU ARE JUST TOO DANG SMART WOMAN    JEN IS STIFF AS A BOARD AND IT BEGAN LAST NIGHT TO CREEP UP ON HER. SHE WORE PATCHES AND TOOK DRUGS.....SOMETHING SHE NEVER DOES TOGETHER SO I KNOW HOW SHE MUST BE FEELING. HER AND THE DAD ARE GOING TO TAKE PICS OF THE CAR AND FILE THE REPORT WITH THE INS COMPANY TODAY. I TOLD HER TO KEEP HER YAP SHUT AND LET DADDY DEAREST HANDLE IT. HE LIKES TO BE "THE MAN". THIS WAY THERE WON'T BE ANY MORE ARGUING. I THINK HE IS BACKING DOWN NOW THAT I LET MY OWN VOICE BE HEARD. I NEED TO GET OUT AND GO FOR A RIDE. I MIGHT ASK WILLY TO DROP ME OFF AT THE WATERFRONT WHILST HE TAKES THE BLUEHAIRS FOOD SHOPPING :swim: HAPPY THURSDAY......:moped: |
HELLO HAPPY LUV!!!! I AM WAVING FRANTICALLY IN YOUR DIRECTION  THANKS FOR ALL THE GOOD THOUGHTS : love:
|
Morning All
Geez a girl can't get here in a day or so and has a short novel to read to catch up with everyone! Ruth the pics were so great....love the deer shots. We love to see them and have them in our environment but they can be so hungry consuming all of our beautiful plants..... The fund for Lucy, what a great gesture from your friend. Do amazing how animals touch our lives, now Lucy will continue to make a difference for so many owners and their pets.
Does the fall get more splendid than the full moon the rising morning star and the sun coming up at the same time......... WOW, I wish you all could be sitting here with me this morning having coffee and seeing this amazing site out all of my windows...... Be reminded that the Power & Love which offers us this amazing place to tread...is there for each of us when our needs seem too great.... Breathe!! My thoughts are with all of you today as I read each of your posts and the great thing about his porno site LOL is that we have a great bunch of ladies here to help comfort and understand us ....right where we are today. Wish some of our friends from across the Atlantic would check in with us and report on their journey. We miss you! One speech done last night and it went tooooo long but have some good ideas to shorten it up the next time I give my report. I had a great time in Minnapolis....fun city. I was just too busy to see much of it. Hope your day if filled with a good laugh along the way and your spirits are lifted by a hug or good friend telling your how terrific you are!!!!! Peace, Nae |
Aw! Everybody needs a hug today! Hershey and I will be glad to do it.
Not much going on here except it's raining horribly hard. We have a river running down the road towards the creek, known as the "crick" in these parts. I have to go out to pick up prescription renewals and pop a cheque into the bank in the next town but that'll be "it" until this evening when I have a Fair Board meeting. "Gentle" yoga class was a misnomer! I was afraid I'd be unable to move this morning but it's not too bad. I managed to sleep until 7 which probably helped. Try to gram yourself a bit of peace today. |
Ruth
You bring up a funny argument. I was at my friends house one day in Southern Ohio. The family was arguing is it a " crick " or a " creek " . They are going back and forth. I am the only one there from ohio proper, usually known as " Northern Ohio " lol. They said well, is it crick or creek. I said a crick is something you get in your neck, a creak is something a door does. It is a stream. Jeez. They of course laughed at me. Then I asked, how do you spell creek lol they spell it creak. Like I said it is a stream. |
MY FRIEND'S DOG DIED LAST WEEK AND NOW HER MOM HAS BEEN MOVED TO A NURSING HOME. SEEMS LIKE SADNESS IS EVERYWHERE. WELL JEN IS LAUGHING TODAY BUT IT MUST BE THE CODEINE:rofl: RICHIE DID THE SHOPPING ON FOOT!! POOR SOD. BUT HE NEEDED THE EXERCISE!:running: I MADE RICE, CHICKEN, OLIVES AND VEGGIES FOR JEN AND RICHIE AND SHE ATE LIKE A PIG SO RECOVERY IS GOING VERY WELL!
I READ BACK TWO PAGES: HOLLY~ I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR EAR AND HOPE THEY BOTH FEEL BETTER  LORD...WHAT ELSE THIS MONTH HUH? RENNIE~ SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THE BRONCHIAL SITUATION ALSO! CEEJAY~ I AM SO GLAD TO HEAR YOUR GOOD NEWS ON THE WEIGHTLOSS!! CONGRATULATIONS THIS MONTH...YOU ARE OUR BIGGEST LOSER!!! :cheer: CARLA~ WE SHOULD BE OUTRAGEOUSLY OPTIMISTIC IN OLDE ONTARIO IN OCTOBER!! :cheer: THANKS FOR POPPING IN TOO! HAPPY~ YOU MAKE ME LAUGH!! http://www.perdue.com/tips/seasons.html |
I am doing ok lol. I am vertical and breathing without assistance lol. It could be worse lol. Always look on the bright side. Things could be worse.
|
I stay away for a complete 24 hours and there's a lot to read here.
STange things today. I keep hearing a phone ring. Happy--I'm convinced that Toyota's are the best. The Chevrolet comes in second. Mel--Glad Jen's feeling better. Tell Shad tht if she goes back to Brisbane to be careful. I heard on the local radio station that a guy is not only stealing purses he's stealing underwear as well. Holly--Hope the ear feels better today. I've been there done that. It sure is no picnic. Reenie--Feel better soon. Have been in the mood to clean today. It sure did need it. I still need to finish the kitchen. Have a good day. |
POSTING AGAIN FOR OUR SHADDIE WHO CAN'T GET HERE JUST YET:
"Yesterday has to have been the day from ****, Meeting first up in the morning - I thought to discuss how the new PMFE (Plant Maintenance Front End) in the new system will display and work, but no, it is for the business to decide what order they want the columns in. Great - that's 20 QRG's which will have to be redone. Won't take long will it? The two that have to be completely redone will take around 4 or 5 hours. But it's the ripples that take the time. You've changed things so that means all process flows will need to change, all screen dumps will need to change, any powerpoint presentation that shows some of the work flow process will need to change. Any screendumps in the powerpoint that display that screen will have to change. When will you get the changes into the system so we can start? Oh probably not till next week. Aaaaaarrrrggggghhhhhhh. So then I came back and broke the news to my manager. I managed to start with 'Have you taken your valium today and permission to go insane Ma'am? Then my computer decided to spit the dummy and it has had to be rebuilt. You guys are still on the porn list so here I am, taking advantage of Mel's good nature again. I did ask the (No) Help desk this morning what they had done to Net Nanny and they didn't know - nothing! But then again, the left hand does not tell the right hand what gives around here, otherwise the left hand might know more than the right hand does. Happy - I try to buy a new car every 2 or 3 years. This one is coming up 4 at Christmas. Believe it or not. There is so little resale value for a used car here, that unless you sell them young, you are going to have to find a heap of money to buy the next one. I'm not going with GM this time because I didn't get all the bits that I thought I was going to get for my money last time. Strangely, you can get a Honda or Mazda with all the gizmos as standard for around the same price as a Holden lacking the gizmos. And no it is not brand new anymore - the son just rang to say that someone sideswiped it in the supermarket car park. Goodo. Mel - please give Antoinette my regards and tell her I am thinking of her. Love and hugs to all of you. I'd better go and get up my team for something or other. It's going to be one of those days. I'll use an internet cafe over the weekend to catch up with you all. Don't yet know if I am coming in to work or not due to lack of co-operation and not being able to do much work at the moment. SHAD" |
I am feeling much better until I go to bed and then everything clogs up lol. Other than that doing better everyday. Thanks for all the concern.
I happen to love my caddie. Haven't really driven anything else in years. Yes when they break, just had to spend about 500 for a new air mix door motor so I have heat this winter, it does cost a bunch to fix but since they don't break down much doesn't really cost much in upkeep. A friend just had the same thing happen on her not a caddie lol last year and it cost her just as much to have it fixed. The last one i had, all i did to the thing in 11 years except for breaks and oil changes was a new set of fuel injectors. Can't beat that with a stick :) Sorry Shad still can't get in. Ceejay I have days like that just clean and clean. |
Back from vacation.
Took 3 days to pull out of "re-entry Depression." It is wonderful to stop worrying about budgets, food plans, laundry, dishes, etc. etc. I am a lazy one, for sure. In the midst of said Depression I was considering lap-band surgery (or some sort of major amputation.... whatever it wold take)... but DD persuaded me that there were too many complications etc etc and so I've signed up for WW. I have two lesbian friends who both lost more than 50# with WW. I'd like to lose 150 pounds... but don't really want to switch teams. :D Does that mean I'm not committed enough? I've been painting today... and show when there's anything interesting! HA! It is pretty hard to paint AND eat. Best to all. |
Painter
HA HA about changing teams. I hope you do well using WW. I have heard a lot of people that have done well on that program. Anytime one considers surgery it is important to look at the risks involved. Good idea what you and your DD did just that. We are here to give support so please let us know how you are doing. |
Good morning chicks,
Painter, I didn't realize that WW works better if you're a lesbian - no wonder I'm not quite getting the results I wanted :lol3: Good to have you back with us again. Thanks for the recipe link Mel. Some of those things look quite good. And quick to fix too - always a plus. Poor Shad - I know exactly what she is talking about - I would be banging my head in frustration. Of course why hurt yourself over someone else's stupidity? I feel for you sister... I guess the security teams must have had a conference because yesterday I noticed that many of the advertisements on websites were blocked. Not that I regret seeing ads I wouldn't pay attention to anyway, just means that they are tightening up security on what you can see on the Internet at work. I stood up from the couch last night and got a blaze of light in one eye. It started me - like a sudden, unexpected bolt of lightning. Except it wasn't outside - it was in my eye. I now have a rather large, annoying floater in my right eye and I see flashes of white light in an arc in the eye. Guess I'll be trotting to the eye doctor this weekend. I looked it up on the internet and while it said sometimes this happens because of age, if it happens suddenly get it checked out because it could be a torn retina. Great just what I (don't) need. If I had the time this morning I would set us up on a new thread just to be done with September. Was it Spain, or the singing or just the phase of the moon that made this such a bad month for us? Tomorrow marks 35 years ago that I met DH. Can't believe disco was that long ago  Happy Friday ladies. |
Happy ~ Look I'm waving at you, Egg-lit One.
I've had just enough time to read all of this, but no time left to comment! Between internet failures and the realization that since I'm straight this whole WW thing might not work, my day is just reeling.:dizzy: Love to you all! I'll be back in later... Oh and I'd be happy to set up October's thread. I have a few thoughts on my native province :) All I'll say for now is TGIF!!!:carrot: |
CEEJAY~ I HEAR BELLS OF ALL KINDS....AND OTHER STRANGE NOISES. THE DR TELLS ME IT IS THE SINUS CAVITIES DOING IT ALL. I HAVE EVEN GOTTEN OUT OF BED UNTOLD AMOUNTS OF TIMES TO ANSWER THE DOORBELL THINKING IT WAS AN EMERGENCY!! :faint:
RENNIE~ GLAD YOU FEEL BETTER...I HAD A 1968 CADDIE AND LOVED IT BUT I LOVED MY OLD CHEVIES BETTER!!:drive: PAINTER~ I AM GLAD YOU AND DD HAD THE TALK. I KNOW YOU CAN DO THIS. YOU HAVE HELPED THOUSANDS IN YOUR JOB AND YOU CAN DO THIS FOR YOU! :cheer: IF ALL THOSE PEOPLE DESERVED YOU HELP THAN YOU CERTAINLY DO! { NOW I NEED TO CONVINCE MYSELF OF THAT TOO:rofl: } LAST NIGHT JEN AND I HAD A CHAT. I GAVE HER THE MONEY FOR THE CAR TOWING AND SHE IS TO GIVE IT TO THE FIL TODAY WHEN THEY GO TO THE INS COMPANY. TOWING IS NOT COVERED. I ALSO TOLD HER TO OFFER THE $500 DECUCT. THAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE INSURANCE EITHER. SEEMS DAD IS PISSED AT HAVING TO PAY FOR JEN. JOHN WILL LEND ME THE $500 AND I'LL PAY HIM BACK EACH MONTH. IT'S NO BIG DEAL. JEN AND I AGREED IT IS HER RESPONSIBILITY TO PAY THE OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES REGUARDLESS OF HOW MUCH MONEY THE FIL HAS. IT MIGHT BE THEIR CAR BUT IT WAS HER DRIVING. HOPEFULLY THIS WHOLE THING WILL BE SETTLED SHORTLY....BOTH JEN AND I ARE REFUSING TO RIDE THE EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER. AND EVEN THOUGH UPSETTING, WE HAVE REMAINED CALM IN THE FACE OF IT ALL. AFTER ALL IT IS ONLY MONEY. HER BODY IS STILL IN ONE PIECE. :cb: I HAVE DONE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR DAYS NOW BUT I THINK IT WAS A WISE DEDISION CAUSE I FEEL GREAT  HAPPY FRIDAY AND HOPE EVERYONE HAS A WONDERFUL WEEKEND!! :moped:  HELLO SOUTHERN BELLE HAPPY!! |
:yikes: OMG HAPPY!! I SEE YOU REALLY ARE THERE AND YOUR POOR EYE!! I HOPE EVERYTHING GOES WELL AND YES...SEE AN EYE DR RIGHT AWAY TO MAKE SURE. SENDING PRAYERS AND HUGS! YOU REALLY ARE SHORT AND SWEET!
MADCAT~ YOU SAID WHAT I WAS GOING TO!!! I WAS GONNA SAY TO PAINTER THAT I 'M GLAD I DIDN'T WASTE ALL MY HARD EARNED MY MONEY ON WW THEN IF I'M STRAIGHT!   SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR WOES AND MISS YOU. WE THINK OF YOU OFTEN! |
Ps To Madcat....be My Guest For Setting Up October!!
|
Quickie but time for a giggle at the WW story. If it weren't for sex, I would have been a lesbian!
My dear friend Shirleyanne is en route right now to visit for the weekend. I really need this after a rollercoaster week. We've been friends for fifty years! We'll spend the weekend talking, sipping tea, quilting and crying over dear departed dogs - there are a lot in 50 years! Gotta dash to the liquor store and also pick some raspberries to decorate thte peach crisp dessert. |
Melody
Wolf bought a used Malabo because he has to drive so far to work. I have to admit the little car has a nice ride and it looks nice too. We thought about getting me one because of the cost. |
Home from work, paid the balance of the stinkin sewer bill, retrieved children, took a nap, put some pork chops in the oven and currently vegging right here. Kids are playing so well. Enjoyable. Shocking but decidedly nice.
Local Fair tonight with the kids. Hoping for some pep in my step. Ears are about the same. Work was insanely busy. I made enough tips to pay the sitter. :D Very tired. First hockey game of the season tomorrow morning and then to the farm ( in laws) for dinner. I do get to sleep in til 9am tho. :D Plan on vegging until I need to finish up supper. |
Holly
Hope you start feeling better. Sorry you are so busy. Enjoy dinner and the kids being good. |
The month gets worse. Crikey, roll on October.
Holly - sorry to hear about the ears. I hope the antibiotics work for you. It's no fun being partly deaf, especially when you work with people whom you need to talk to and interact. Happy - get that eye seen to NOW! Mel - I am going to ring you next week. It won't be for long but I need to discuss something apart from our pornographic instincts. I'll let you know closer to the day. Ruth- enjoy that friend. My friend in AZ has been my friend since i was 16 and I have another friend who started school with me aged 5. I love them to death. Peach crisp - ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh  me too, me too. I'd even work up an appetite for that. Rennie - hope you feel better soon. I usually get a cold about every April. It's near enough the only thing that ever goes wrong with me. Touch wood. Madcat - glad you dropped in. I have found a place for you to stay when you visit Perth  It's called the Mad Cat Backpackers. :lol3: Ceejay - thanks for the heads up on Toyota. I've sorta looked at them, but the smaller cars - which are basically what I need - always look chunky and squat. I'm a real devil for sleek lines and the long, lean, low look. I know they are really good. Everyone seems to love their Toyotas. Painter - good to see you with us. Please don't turn us all Lesbian - we would have to move over to the Alternachicks thread - can you imagine what net nanny would do with that. :o  Still can't get in from work. Will have to find a work around somewhere. Talk to the phone company again etc. etc. etc. Work continues to grind along. I must have whinged enough since they have changed the screens for me. I am going in really early tomorrow to work in peace for a few hours. Monday is a public holiday, but I'll be there - can't keep me away! Someone asked what the big attraction was - I said Brisbane. Anyway that's the story for the moment. This computer is making some very funny noises - I have my doubts about it lasting the day - and the keyboard is crap as well. Not to worry, it's not a huge problem - I'll not be back here for some time. I think I am the only one here who speaks English as a first language anyway. Okay - time to go looking for some new shoes. See ya! |
So many troubles, both physical and in the work arena about this thread! I hope you ladies are remembering to breathe. Take care of that anxiety, get answers where ever possible. Be good to yourselves. :p

LOVEYA!:moped: |
Melody
Hope you have a great day. Housework is done, laundry is for tonight when I sit and watch tv. Today am going to go shopping and get myself an outfit. I can't stand my clothes falling off me anymore. :) will check out goodwill and see what I can find first. No reason to spend a lot of money on something that isn't going to fit me in a few weeks :) |
