Hello Everbody!! Gosh, it seems so quiet here lately-- everyone must be busy doing Summer activities.
Well, I was pretty happy yesterday when I got on the scales and lost 2 more pounds this week!! YAY!!
I just want to get out of the 160's so bad!! Maybe this week it will happen!
Cal-- Great pictures and Ashley is really a cutie!! I'll bet that was a wonderful trip! My older brother used to live over on Kodiak and they enjoyed it. Their daughter had gym class the last class of the day and when she walked home from school her hair would be froze when she got home. And that was in the Spring!! But they liked it.
Virgo-- Glad your reunon went well. It sounds like you did a lot of work to make it all come in to play. I llok forward to hearing more about it.
Webb City, MO is in the southwest corner of MO. It is just across the Kansas line. The closest city is Joplin. All my family live in Webb City except for my older brother and he lives in Carterville. I know it kind of sounds like a Mayberry!!! But I really like it back there and hope to sell our home soon so we can get back there.
We had the grandkids until Tuesday night so I was pretty "grandma'd" out!! But enjoyed having them with us. Here is a picture of the two of them. Jade is 11 and TJ is 9. They were starting to get a little restless after 5 days of being here. All their friends live down in Colorado Springs. But TJ kept busy catching "Mountain grasshoppers" to take home with him
I think he ended up having 45 of them!!
I know Mom was so happy!! Jade did a lot on her math workbook. She wants to be ready for the 6th grade when it starts.
