HI all. Kel have a UDL for me to. They're great :) Thanks all for good lucks. I passed my exams :) No resits phewww. Still have to get through the rest of the week though with practical assessments and assignments due and a presentation that my group has to do tomorrow.

Great job ani and julia and jaley. :carrot: :carrot: :carrot:

My weigh in was a bit loppy and weirrrrrd. All last week and prior (god knows how many days) George was around and just wouldnt bloomin leave. My eating hasnt been to bad, havent time for calorie king though.. grrrr. But hoping I have kept things in persepective myself.

Anywho back to my weigh in. Weighed in at 600gm down (70.8) but this morning dont know WHY I got on scales but it said 72.3???? Go figure. I did though weigh AFTER my coffee and Brekky.

Gotta fly, have to finish this

Yep Kel, it's a pretty recent (maybe 10 weeks ago?) pic after I had my hair done last time. I would have been about the same weight, as I gained and lost since then!

PerthChick 10-23-2007 06:51 AM

Another good day for me - I've eaten 1400 calories, drunk 2.6L of water and walked for almost 2 hours (not all at once :dizzy:). I'm much happier with today's effort after being a bit naughty yesterday.

Vonni do you weigh yourself at the same time every day? It's always a good idea to keep it consistent, I reckon, otherwise your results can be all over the place.

Gen I was thinking the same thing as Kel - you don't look like you're 90kg from that photo.

Does anyone else have days where they feel fatter than ever, even after losing a heap of weight? That's how I'm feeling at the moment - no rhyme or reason to it - but it happens!

*sigh*

pacman12 10-23-2007 07:31 AM

Absolutely, Ani - and my head totally determines how I behave and eat etc. This week I feel blah, last week I felt great. Because I feel blah, I eat crap and feel even more blah. Vicious circle. Heh.

I can only look at the objective data of my measurements etc and realise it's only in my head when I feel "fatter" even though I've lost weight.

PS: I lose it off my face pretty quickly, so at least my head doesn't look like a bloated beach ball, which it did before I started in Nov last year!

Kel waiting for your kitchen must really suck. I rekon you deserve a vodka or 3 for being so patient!

Vonni, having breakfast before you weighed in again would probably have helped the scales to jump a bit. I try to weigh myself at the same time each week - first thing Monday morning before I've eaten anything and that way the number seems to be a bit more reliable.

I so know what you mean Ani. A couple of weeks ago I was feeling really down in the dumps, fat and frumpy so I got out the tape measure and held it around me at a few of my old measurements. No denying that I've come a long way when I did that and it made me feel much better :)

I walked home from work last night so that was 2 x 40 minute walks for me yesterday :D I've got my gym gear in the car but have realised that I'm pretty sure I forgot to pack a top so I'll probably have to just go home and perhaps go for a walk.

Have a great day everyone :twirly:

pacman12 10-24-2007 03:28 AM

Just go topless. God, Julia, you'll use any excuse not to go to the gym! Haha.. only kidding!!

LittleKiwi 10-24-2007 04:50 PM

Ewwww that would so not be a good look Gen!

I've got my stuff packed today complete with a top so will be hitting the gym after work for sure ;)

Bit of a pain really because I've decided to do an aerobics class but have brought long track pants which are not ideal at all. Oh well, will just have to be extra sweaty.

Today is the birthday of one of my colleagues and she has brought cupcakes for us all and I've decided to have one :T

I forget if I've mentioned it but my work has given us all pedometers and next week we start a 10,000 step challenge. I believe that the way they're going to do it is that it'll be as if we're walking from Invercargill to Auckland and the first person & first office team to get there wins a prize. I'm really looking forward to taking part in that :D

Have a great day everyone :twirly:

Another good day for me yesterday. It was pretty warm in Perth and I ended up drinking 2.7L of water. I ate 1420 calories and walked for an hour.

I had to buy some clothes (as last summer's wardrobe is a bit big for me now) yesterday… how GOOD is the feeling of being able to buy clothes from 'normal' shops - and knowing that the 'Plus Sizes' in department stores are now too big for me :carrot:. Everything I bought was Size 16!!!

OK - planning to achieve good things again today. I'm determined to get below 85kg this week!

:)

hey
put on weight
think it said 88.1kg
beyond caring as long as it never says 90 again
and considering EVERYDAY this week has been takeaway i dont think putting on 400grams is that bad
i have 3/4 of a kitchen - working oven and stove
may even use it
was about to make my vietenemse ricepaper rolls last night and brother in law electrician came and turned off power to make oven work

baby awake i have to go

DRINK MORE WATER (that is me reminding everyone whilst kicking myself in the butt for drinking dietcoke and if none easy reach vodka!)

PerthChick 10-25-2007 04:25 AM

Kel it sounds like your kitchen dramas are almost over - what a relief that will be.

Gen what are you up to? Tell me the Snack chocolate and packet of dinosaurs haven't thrown you from your lofty plans for the week! Just noticed you're happily speculating about topless gym sessions and being rather reticent about what YOU'RE doing :p

I'm having another good day. I plan to splurge a little tonight and have oven-baked fish and chips for dinner, but it should fit within my calorie range (I hope).

:)

I'm not being sneaky, have just been working almost every day this week. Have been a good girl taking my lunches and my water bottle, and had lots of fruit for snacks. Think I will at least not gain weight, which would be a win for this week.

LittleKiwi 10-25-2007 03:59 PM

Oh dear, I've had a slight disaster with a home hair dye kit. The colour is pretty good. Darker than I'm used to but it's quite nice but now I've got stained skin all over the back of my neck! Having short hair this is not good. I've got a scarf wrapped around my neck today while I'm at work but I'm going to a fancy bar tonight for a friend's birthday drinks. What to do?!?!?

A colleague has scrubbed the back of my neck with jif and while it's a bit lighter, it's still there. Oh no :(

On the plus side, I went to the gym last night and did an aerobics class.

Elerine 10-25-2007 04:16 PM

oh dear!! Maybe you could find a nice little floaty scarf? I don't know if this link will stay here, but it's a list of ways to get stain off skin: http://www.associatedcontent.com/art...from_skin.html

I've been behaving lately. Went to the pub last night and drank water all night, only one sneaky beer before I went home. Ate tapas as well, so that wasn't really dinner was it? :p

Ani - it must feel wonderful to be able to shop in 'normal' shops. I've always managed to sqeeze into 16/18, so it's not a problem I've had, but yay! for you. :carrot:

Anyway, best get moving. Have a great day everyone!

LittleKiwi 10-25-2007 04:53 PM

Phew, all sorted now. Popped into a local hair salon and the chicky there got it off using a baby wipe and hairspray!

Never would have thunk :dizzy:

pacman12 10-25-2007 09:08 PM

I was going to say baby wipe, I get if off using the makeup remover wipes.
