Hey ladies
I had a work function last night and while I resisted the food I had 4 glasses of wine and a pint of cider. Oops! :o Feeling slightly under par today but not too bad considering. Challenge for today will be to go to the gym after work. I imagine that I'll be feeling rather like going home to bed by that stage! :twirly: |
Oh dear seems like lots are passing the food and going the grog instead. lol. silly buggas. U gotta eat a little if u don't want to feel yuk. :)
Kel it's crappy when babies are sick hey. Little Ebony is crook at the moment. Has had a head cold for a week and the past few days has moved into her chest. Poor little mights cough and cough don't they? They don't know HOW to get it OUT. My next one up (biological child) turns 7 yrs today. She's out back playing with prezzies and keeping Eb amused. Whoohooo! Did some of my first aid assessment last night. Went great I think. 2 nights left to go. Ani yes how IS your cat? Haven't heard so I am hoping no news is good news? Kylie welcome back in. Hehe it's funny we don't see u forever it seems but u duck on in and have a chat then disappear again for a bit. But glad you are still keeping in touch with us. Oh and was it Kel???? about the M&Ms? Very proud of you :carrot: :carrot: :carrot: . It is so hard isn't it when you are in the habit of something. I'm guessing it's like giving up smoking. You know u shouldnt but you do and when you don't it's such a great feeling. I havent had chips or chocolate since the last time I said. I think it is five days now. Very hard, especially during my work break. But I have been taking a banana. Gotta fly, will post more later. Eb whinging out back, and pest control bloke here in half hour and I am SUPPOSED to have everything out of bottom cupboards and away from skirting. Like is HE gonna pick everything up the baby throws around or hunt for her hiding behind furniture? Vonni |
PS ... AND I am still in PJ's clingy short elmo nighty. Clingy cause I've put weight on since I bought the damn thing. And I am sure it wasn't this short before.

My cat seems to be having a better week, the medication helps control the vomiting.
I, on the other hand, need a slap. Every time I get a new housemate my routines go out the window and I find it hard to stick to my plans. Today's goal is simple - to drink some water! :) |
I'm here, but working 2 jobs at the moment so keeping busy after my several months of leisure when I posted all the time haha.

Hi Chelsea! Welcome in! The girls are veritable fountains of advice, so ask away! (I always do). What's your motivation for losing the 10kg? Do you have any ideas about how you want to lose it? (I mean diet changes/exercise/whatever).

should be me actually............... i put on 500grams this week.... not happy jan! so EVERYONE go and tell me that it is muscle.... okey pokey..... sounds good chelsea hey hey how are you??? it is good tohave a goal like that then you can break it down and make it more manageable 3 months is 12 weeks so less than 1kg a week loss and you have lost 10kg!!! yippee..... weight watchers is awesome and also calorieking.com.au that is what most of us talk about on here as it tells you how many calories u need to eat to lose weight and then has a food diary that is easy to use and puts in perspective how many calories are in what you eat so it is educating yourself for longterm keeping wieght off. the art of maintenance....................... i thought i had it............ damn 500grams to shatter my positive attitude! i went to bodypump, bodystep, body balance and went on at least 3 walks with my dogs this week and was careful at brekky and lunch about what i ate and ate GOOD hungry jacks and not a lot of vietenmense and said NO to pizza last night and cooked dinner so hmm hmph tomorrow is personal training - bring it on, i am going to be the fitest fatty in the world |

I'm doing well at the moment. Had a bit of a binge over the weekend so my weight loss for the past week was only 400g, but a loss is a loss. As long as its going down I'm happy! Only 1.2kg till my first goal! I keep forgetting to pop in here and keep myself honest! Kids on holidays at the moment so if we're not out this seats taken! XX Barb |

Kel, try not to worry too much about having a gain. It's only a small one so don't let it throw you off track. You've been so focussed this week and I'm sure that will show on the scales next week. I really, really, really didn't feel like going to the gym last night so I left my car in town and walked home instead. It was a nice walk and that meant that I had to walk to work this morning so today's exercise is done and dusted too :D I'm getting the finishing touches on my tattoo tomorrow so will have to take a day off exercising tomorrow while it's still tender. :twirly: |
Hey Barb. Even though yr finding it hard to get in here lately you're never far from all our thoughts. It's funny how even though most of us have never officially met every now and then we think ... hmmm... Wonder what such n such is up to? Or ask others if they have seen someone round. I find it hard to get online in holidays to. My 13yr old son is ALWAYS online. But I have banned him for a week because he never gets off when asked. It's always.. "yeah in a minute. They're just sayin seeya" blah blah blah.
BTW Welcome Chelsea. I noticed we r about the same weight.. Race ya.. lol. No only jokin. I'm not in the right 'frame of mind' at the moment to persist stubbornly. I've been on again off again and more off than on the wagon. Kylie, don't worry about thinking of anything to say. I don't as you all know. I just prattle hehe. I confess - I've been fooling myself lately. I've been scavenging for food, so I'm not eating well (the 250g pack of white cooking chocolate bits didn't help). Blew out on a meatball and extra cheese Subway (on white :o ) and bf's bought home snags for tea, with chocolate Vienetta and chips for dessert.
Please, smack me so I can get over this hurdle and back on track. Oh, and could someone give me a lift to the gym? I can't remember where it is. Kylie |

i cant smack u coz i went to fasta pasta for dinner with hubby tonight (that reminds me am supposed to be on date so better go) and tomorrow night going to austrian restaurant and think there might be a little bit of meat with my fat on the pork i have ordered.............. why are you scavengin for food??? why are you not getting water when you are hungry or low joule cordial for taste or if you cant do that a diet softdrink maybe? and have you ever tried raw mushrooms dipped in sweet chilli sauce yummo |
