Hi all Have read all posts but pushing for time to reply. Have residential this week and leav home 6am get home 6.30pm I have an hour and a half drive each way. Grrr. Oh well worth it in the end.

Jennylee welcome back :). I would think that if low-carb is working for you, then it's worth trying it for a few months and seeing what kind of results you get.
Vonni don't you work too hard now - we need your wit and wisdom in here. And when you get time I want to know what's happening with your weight loss. I've had another good day today. I ate 1360 calories, walked for an hour and drank 2.5L of water. I feel really, really bloated because of TOM so I don't know how I'll go on the scales in the morning - but we'll see. Anyway, I'm stuffed after finally getting out and going for a walk - so it's an early night for me. :) Ani |

Kathy...you sound like you have a lot on your plate (and I am not referring to your diet! :p ) Maybe withdrawing will give you the break you need to catch-up with life? Deal with things one at a time, bit by bit. Looking at everything all together can be very overwhelming. Hang in there. Ani, I think you have done well this week...I have my fingers crossed for a positive weigh-in for you tomorrow :) And I am not taking exercise very seriously just yet - is it obvious? :lol: Maybe once I get a routine sorted out now that travel is going to be a regular thing with my job...and if I can be bothered of course :lol: Speaking of traveling...I really need to pack! Typical me...leave it 'til the last minute! Dietwise...I have been good - maybe too good today - I only ate just over 1000cals? But I did drink 2L of water too. And I took the dogs for a short walk! I will weigh-in tomorrow. I still feel fat right now! So I'll be happy if I can be close to what I was last week. Promises for tomorrow (and the week as I am away): 1) Post my weigh-in tomorrow morning. 2) Drink water! 3) Take care with the roomservice menu! 4) Post again Friday evening and report that I had a good week! 5) Control myself when I get home!!! (unlike last time!) Alright...must pack! |

Sorry I disappeared there for a minute - I took a couple of days off from life this weekend. No email (!) no computer, no work. Just sleeping in, walking on the beach, and catching crabs off the jetty at 3.30am. Oh the life! BAM Back to reality tomorrow though, boohoo. My inbox was about ready to pop when I opened it. This week has been relatively well behaved food wise. Not that flash, but we've had a visitor down from Sydney, so there was muchly dining out and drinking. oops :) Back onto the wagon tomorrow, off to the gym nice and early. Bought some healthy food to get through to pay-day, so we'll be aaal right! Just for the record, I've done the shakes thing too, but I thought that it would be different for me, and that I could keep the weight off. Wrong. I think you girls might remember that actually, that was when I started posting I think. Gen- your house is perdy! I do envy your backyard. I can't wait to have one all of my own. Ani - best of luck with your interview. I'm sure you'll do well. And best of luck with the new housemate too. Lindor - well done for posting, it's always great to see you! I have just done my weigh in this morning and lost 1.5kg, which has made my week! All that treadmill time is paying off. Kathy, I understand the uni stress. I always got coldsores by week 12 of the semester and had my eyes hanging out of my head. Stick with it as it is worth it in the end and don't feel bad about dropping the subjects. You are better off tackling them when you know you have the available time and energy to knock them over. My goals this week: Stay motivated Post regularly Drink plenty of water |
Woo hoo Jayley - congratulations :). Sounds like you're feeling really motivated for this week, and I hope you reach those goals.
I'm happy. Last Monday when I didn't weigh-in I was back up to 86.7kg. Today I'm exactly 85kg - and I'm thrilled with that. Aiming for 84.6kg by next Monday. Lindor, have a good week (or as good as it can be) while you're away! :) Ani |

Kylie, great to hear from you! Jayley...fantastic work! 1.5kg is awesome! ;) I weighed in this morning and I am very surprised that I managed a 600g loss this week! Down to 87.8kg That has put me in a good headspace for the week now :) Good luck to everyone else who is weighing in! Have a good week ladies :) Edit: Ani, just saw your post! I haven't gotten back on track today even though I promised myself. I was going to go to the gym for pump class, but the time for the class came and went again while I was waiting with dd at the doctors. We got there just before 9am and finally saw a doctor just after 11am. It looks like she has ruptured a muscle in her jaw, giving her a dent in her chin, and pushing the muscle up to her mouth, making her lip smaller and her smile lopsided. So now we have an appointment in December for a plastic surgeon. I was going to joke with dh about asking for some boobs while he's fixing kyra he can do me, but dh is rather upset about it all.
I'm looking forward to not studying for the rest of the year, and next year I'll get back into my studies. Tomorrow is low carb day and pump class at 12.30. I'll low carb the rest of the day too. |

Morning ladies!
It was Labour Day here in NZ yesterday and it was so nice to have a long weekend. I went to a bbq on Sunday where despite eating lots of lovely food I still managed to stay within my daily points allowance. Yesterday I walked to the gym, did my weights then walked home again. After my 1.3kg gain last week I was really quite scared that I had messed things up completely but this week I was down 1.5kg and I'm now feeling really great and am determined to stay on track. Walked to work this morning (40 minutes) and will walk home after work providing the weather holds out. Also, I love the fact that it feels like a Monday but is actually Tuesday already :D |

Be proud of me - I went to the movies in Gold Class last night, and instead of having the tasty tasty cheese platter or something like that, I had water with lime. Thats it. How bizarre. Saw The Kingdom, I really liked it. Will be back. |
Gen - what was that about? :o Usually when I have that kind of binge there's something else going on (ie I'm hungry for something but it isn't food). Come on now - I want to see you get below 90kg this week ;)
I can't talk too much though. I went and did an interview yesterday and the people put out all this food for me. I ate more nuts and bbq noodles than I wanted to - but I find those things really hard to resist when they're there in front of me. Still ended up eating around 1650 calories for the day, and drinking 2.2L of water… Kylie how is everything going? You sound like you've been really busy lately. Julia - that's really good news about your weight loss this week. Woo Hoo! OK - I want to try and have a more balanced day today, to make better food choices and get some exercise. I don't know what was up yesterday, I had an insatiable appetite - I was eating all day and night! Could be coming up to TTOTM, I'd have to check the calendar but usually when I have mad choccy cravings it's about a week before that. I blame hormones hehe. Or alternately, I'm trying to sabotage myself getting under 90kg this week. Once or the other..! |

water - thats a good idea.... can u believe my kitchen so disorganised that i have been driven to be right now ddrinking a raspberry udl rather than water that sucks oh well - kitchen so so close and i will be cooking up a storm, but baby soon be crawling so that will be a full on job keeping her out of mischif everyone is going so well and is so motivated...... i did go to the gym yesterday and when jemima wakes up i will go for a walk butit maybe a walk to the doctor as i think she is having ear issues.... wont have kitchen wired up tonight dont think so wont be able to cook anything fancy but will get electric frypan out andmaybe do vietenmese ricepaper rolls or something but have no carrot.... i guess i can buy some carrots at the shops near the doctor..... hmmmm please tell me ricepaper rolls are healthy kitchen drawer fronts have turned up been made upside down.... can you believe it........ yes it is all about me and my kitchen - wo is me - heheheehe it will be all over soon ani i am so please you stayed 85kg!!! here here to not weighing in when you knew it would demotivate! wonder when my baby will wake up - there has been all sorts of drilling and she has not yet.... what a good girl..... butnow i am bored but dont want to bring all my dirty washing past tradesmen to ddo a load of washing oh well ill just grab another vodka..... |
