Yay, good doggies!! (And good Schatzi)
Yeah, I have thought of doing a bigger bandaging job on Jetski, but it was doing so well, I didn't think she'd have to have it covered much longer. At the moment I'm thinking that as long as I don't have to change it more than once a day, I'll put up with that. It seems that she doesn't chew it off when there isn't any gauze peeking out from the edges of the tape -- at least, she doesn't unless she is unsupervised/bored for a long period of time. So it's manageable for now.
I just poured half a can of beer into my pot roast and drank the rest. We're going to have tasty pot roast in an hour.
This is what Jet does for fun: sneak by me and swipe a used kleenex out of the trash can and run under the other desk to chew it up. However, when I catch her doing it, she gives it back to me and then she wants a treat for her clever behavior.
DD had a great time in Montreal. I asked her if she got to use her French, and she said "Yeah, I couldn't believe how French Montreal is!"

kids, eh? So anyway, she was one of only a few who had enough French to read the menus and stuff, so she actually did use it.
I went over to the BF's parents' house last night to watch video of the music that Dd's chorale did on Sunday (we have dialup which means it would take 3 days to enjoy an hour long video

). His mom had just found out that BF didn't just drive back to school on Sunday night (he'd been home for the weekend), he went all the way to Boston, got there near midnight, stayed overnight with DD, got up at the crack of dawn and drove back 2 hours for an 8 o'clock class. His mom was not happy with him. I don't think he was going to tell them, but his twin outed him.

We all worry about the amount of driving these kids do, but I really feel like it's up to them what foolish things they do, as long as they're also doing what they're supposed to, classes and work and all. Maybe I'll call DD and give her a hard time just for fun...
DH is planning a trip to Chicago next month -- he has a class action court case that he has been shepherding for several years against the former owner of the local paper mill, and it's finally coming to mediation. The hope is that the company will settle rather than let it draw out any further in the courts, so we may be receiving a little in proceeds from it. Should be interesting. Apparently they will allow his expenses for this, but not for both of us.
Or maybe he didn't ask....
That's all right, who'd want to go from Frozen Maine to Windy Chicago in February anyway?
Oops, got to go check my pot roast. Goodness I'm long winded aren't I? No need to answer that...
