Mem-Drinking lots of water will help flush out the water weight.

Sean has a parade in town today at 12:00 then this evening we are going to see the Georgia Ballet A Sleepy Hollow Story. Rachel's teacher will be dancing so it should be fun!

Have a great weekend!

Hey everyone! Its been a lazy Saturday morning here. Espresso in bed, playing with the grandbaby, etc. I just finished lunch- a NSA yogurt, some oatmeal, and a spoonful of peanut butter. I have to head out in a few minutes to meet a bride who is using the church for her wedding. The caterer, and cake person, as well as her planner are going to be there.

MEM: Yum! Greek! (I grew up in the Chicago area...) Thin is right. Drink plenty of water. That will help flush the sodium out and the water weight. When you eat foods that seem too salty, immediately start drinking extra water. Initially, you may see a gain, but it will all flush out again if you get plenty of fluids.

THIN: Enjoy the ballet! And the parade! It sure was a pretty day for a parade, though kind of chilly, huh?

Happy Birthday Dear Techwife! Happy Birthday to You. Hope you have a great day.

Sorry I've been lost. Our heater went out and there was no heat in the computer room for part of the week. It was freezeing in this room and I just couldn't stand to be in here. The heater guy came yesterday and it was just a loose wire. So we're all fixed and its toasty in here. I haven't been doing well. And I swear tomorrow I start back on the TM walking. I haven't done the best I could and I'm so mad at myself. Got to think of something for lunch. I need to up my water too. Guess I'll go finish the laundry and get busy around here. Happy Day all....

Thanks for the birthday well-wishes! I had a GREAT day! We stayed home and raked leaves. Sounds bad, but I love raking leaves with the family...Junior racing full-steam ahead through the piles, Kyle hiding in the piles, Derek and I taking turns motoring aorund on the mower mulching things up. It was sunny and a bit cold, but a great November day. It was also Matthew McConaughey's birthday, I might add.

I ate like a pig because Derek bought me a 3 cup food processor. It's so cute and just the right size for mashing banana for banana bread or onions, celery and mushrooms for stuffing in a small chicken for dinner. Derek offered to take us out to Red Lobster for dinner, but I opted for staying in and cooking with my new toy. It was GREAT! I took a rain check on the Red Lobster, though.

Anyhow...on top of the food processer, I got a new bottle of Wind Song (my daughter thought I said Wind Sock over the phone...I said, "Yes, I want a bottle of Wind Sock perfume ) and a Peyton Manning game jersey.

Okay..gotta run!!

Happy Sunday all. Been busy this morning. Folding laundry, straightening up and things like that. Did walk on my TM. And have a big jug of water beside me. Its time I quit messing around and get with the program. LOL. A new year is just ahead and I'm fat as ever. I had a nice bowl of oatmeal for breakfast. I think I might make a double batch of bean soup and Steve could take part of it for his lunch at work. I need to get busy and make some soups this week. I found a good sounding recipe for broccli cheese soup over at South Beach website and want to try it. Well off I go to make the black bean soup.
