THIN: I am with Rachel! Its yucky and I really don't want to go out. I had hoped it would be dry enough to walk, but I don't think so....so I am heading over to SuperTarget in a few minutes to return a few things then walk around. Then I need to wash the bathroom walls with TSP and get them ready to paint. I feel like crawling back in bed though...I really do! .........but I am going to resist the urge......I AM! .........I REALLY am!.......

Good morning. We have yucky gloomy weather here too. It rained all yesterday and is misty and icky today. I made some good ole oatmeal for breakfast. I'm trying to get used to my DH change in shifts he now gets home at 9 am in the morning. And is starving. Gosh I'm barely up and around by then. Then he's home all day. YUCK!!! He's cutting into my private time. LOL! I walked on the treadmill this morning. The last few minutes were torture. Hope I can make it the week.

Bob- Your breasts sound wonderful Hope its baby time soon....

Monet- Hope you made it to Target and get your walking done. The knee sounds painful and with this damp weather hope it doesn't give you anymore trouble. Or are you snoozing?

Thin- Hope Rachael is enjoying her at home day. Somedays it just feels good to take it easy.... Have a good day with her.

Talitha- Congrads on your loss. Hang in there you're doing great....

Solly- Howdy gal don't let the dreary rain get ya down..

Well off to get busy....

Hey everyone. The day has deteriorated dramatically. Someone ran over my son's cat about an hour ago. He is devastated. He had just let her out, and she was still warm when the neighbor found her in the street. It was pretty gruesome. My son is very tenderhearted, and it breaks my heart to see him so upset about it. He has two others from the same litter...they were all rescued when their mother was killed by a car. This one used to follow us when we went to walk...sometimes as far as a mile and a half! She did have a tendency to run in the street.

I ran errands, and had a meeting, and went to the pottery supply place to look around. I spent too much on tools and such.

It is still raining. And cold. I just don't feel like typing anymore.

Monet- I'm so sorry about the cat. We have a cat that likes to walk too, but he stops at the edge of our property and waits for us to return, then he joins us again.

Bob- Any news from babyland??

The weather coupled with this head cold I have has not helped my exercise this week at all. I'm hoping to get in a walk tomorrow after work if I can manage it.

I slept so so. I may go back to bed for a while. The weather is nicer today, so I will get my walk in. I am not looking forward to seeing James today. I am apprehensive about how he will be. He really gets upset when he loses a pet. It all started when he was pretty young, and his hamster died. He gets very attached to his pets. I feel kind of at a loss, since he has been depressed, and was really coming out of it. Now, I am afraid we will be back to square one.

Is anyone on this board still doing Sugarbusters? Or are most of you WW converts just posting here? Or just posting and not doing....

I am still doing sugarbusters!! ( When my willpower is cooperating!) I have never done ww and I know nothing about counting points. I try to stay with whole nonprocessed foods and watch portion sizes. I don't eat white rice or flour and use agave or splenda for sweetness and only whole grain pasta. I'm trying to incorporate more veggies. Is this what you wanted to know?

Bob-congrats to the new mom! Hope she and the baby are doing well!

Good morning,

I am glad the rain is gone but the temp is supposed to climb up to 80's today. Our deck is almost done, I am so excited to be able to spend sometime out there on the deck

Eating has been good. This morning, I had 1 fried egg, 2 small sausages, 1 ww waffle and 1 cup of soy milk. I know I am such a big eater...lol. Lunch should be leftover brisket, some new potatoes and salad. Dinner will be spaghetti with chinese pork sauce and salad.

Some replies :

MONET : Sorry about your car battery. I fear that will happen to me as well. Infact, I ask my husband the other day if there is a way to know when my battery will die...LOL. I love the cold weather too but today I know the temp should rise to the 80's Monet, I am so sorry about your son's cat. That is so sad Yes, I am still doing SB but not a strict one. I allow myself to eat some red potatoes yesterday but I limit how much I should eat. I don't like ww spaghetti so I eat the Dreamfield's pastas. Overall, I still follow lots of SB guidelines but not to the T.

SOLLY : Sorry about the 2 lbs, I know you will get the numbers down. You have the right attitude

THIN : Yayy...congrats on your lbs loss. That is fantastic! Congrats to Rachael's audition. She is so talented!

TONI : 3 lbs?? WTG!! It is rather gloomy and misty here as well. I am so glad the rain has stopped. I believe we are supposed to see the sun tomorrow. I understand about your dh taking away your private time...lol. Sometimes I feel that way as well. I love him but I also like my time when I can do anything I want...lol.

BOB : Congrats to you, aunty Bob!!! Hope the mother and baby is doing well

TALITHA : Congrats on your 1.2 lbs loss. That is awesome!!! You did great!!

Time to go...have a good day everyone!

Julia

Hey, guys. Sorry I haven't been posting. Just been bummed lately. Haven't been getting along with hubby, had this procedure done that I still haven't heard anything back yet. I've been just kinda down in the dumps. I need to snap out of it but easier said than done. Missed half the day yesterday because I had to take Boogie and Robby to the doc. They have a nasty virus that is now on day #3. I've been missing work and now Robby and it doesn't take long to get behind on the bills which also adds to me being more bummed. Now that I've complained enough..the good news is that I think I've lost a little bit because my clothes aren't feeling like my arse is about to explode out of them. I'm trying not to weigh as much as I was because I get so obsessed with it and discouraged. So I'm letting my clothes and the mirror be the judge. Also, I'm "allowing" myself to be a little relaxed about the eating. Telling myself to eat this and not eat that was making me sabatoge my efforts. Like the more OP I tried to be, the more it back-fired. This might not make sense to you all but guess I'm just a little weird, lol. Yesterday I was really bad with my eating and today I feel like I'm hungover, but I didn't drink so sugar can really make you feel like crap. I'm back on the wagon today cause I don't want to continue to feel like this. For BF I had an Atkins morning granola bar, yogurt, and a small handful of unsalted peanuts. I still feel hungry and I know it's from all the sugar yesterday. I'll probably eat some more nuts in about an hour. For lunch I made a big chef salad. Not for sure what supper will be. Well , it's starting to pick up in here so better cut this short...check back later.

HEART: Hang in there...men can be a PIA at times, but it is worth it to weather the storms. After 30 years, I am glad I did. I can relate to the $$ issues too...but it will work out. As for the not weighing and not being obsessed with what you eat, yes, I do understand. You are not the only one like that. When I get all focused on what to eat, and not to eat, I come to a screeching halt! When I try to keep good choices on hand and eat when I am truly hungry, it just seems to work better for me. The scale too drives me crazy. Do what works for YOU. If it doesn't work, tweak! I hope Boogie and Robby get well fast. Keep us posted on the results from your procedure. We are praying for you.

Howdy all! Its another gloomy ole day here in Missouri. Sure am missing the sun. Walked on my treadmill. Had my oatmeal and juice for breakfast so I'm all set for the day. Jackson my dog is worrying me to death, he's sure theres a toy up on the shelf for him and won't leave the kitchen. Theres nothing I can do to convince him there isn't anything for him.

Bob- Congrads on being a new Auntie..... He's a nice big boy....

Monet- I'm still on Sugar Busters. Hope your son is better today. But it takes awhile to get over a dear pet.

Thin- Hope you get better sooner. I know how you feel I have this rotten cough and its icky out to make ya want to crawl back in bed.

Julia- Sounds like you're eating good. Your spraggetti sounds so yummy.

Heartmom- Hope everything in your world gets better. I hate when you don't get along with the DH it colors everything.

Better go finish the laundry.... Happy Day...

Has anyone tried any of the new 'Whole Grain Rice a Roni? Travis was begging for it so I got some. I'm worried that it's not really as healthy as it should be but he was so excited.

I'm painting my kitchen cabinets today and they look AWESOME! The color is Swiss Coffee, a rich white and then I will antique the grooves in the doors and drawers. Soooo much better. They are really cheap cabinets but the paint really makes them look nice.

I got up and walked 45 minutes this morning and had fiber one with skim milk for breakfast. We are having Lucas dedicated at church on sunday, so I bought dry beans and ground turke to make chilli for the whole family. I'm making 2 kinds of chili and also my Garbanzo soup. It'll be about 30 people.

Lucas is rolling over. Has been for a week. It makes me so happy and sad at the same time.

Bob- Congrats!!! how was the birth?

Monet- Can't we do both?

Be back later. Screamin' baby....
