This is the latest SUGAR BUSTERS BIO BOARD where you can learn a little bit more about each of the members on the board. The guideline below is just that, a guideline, if there is any question you don't care to answer, please feel free to delete it. If there is anything you'd like to add, again, feel free to do so.
You can easily CUT, COPY AND PASTE the questionaire, then fill it. To do this you highlight the area you want to copy, right mouse click & hit COPY. Then click on the REPLY BUTTON and you are going to PASTE the questionaire into the reply area by right mouse clicking and hitting PASTE - that should put the questionare into the area, then just fill in the lines and hit SUBMIT REPLY! That's it!!
If you'd like to add a picture into your BIO and are not sure how to do it, you can e-mail me your picture and I'll be more than happy to get loaded onto a site for you
Need to edit or delete something from your BIO, just go to your bio and click on the PEN & PAPER ICON at the top, this will take you to the text of your bio, just change whatever needs to be changed and then hit SUBMIT NOW.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE SUGAR BUSTERS? - It just made so much sense to me, sounded healthy and it was something I hadn't already tried. Boy, did I finally do something right!
ANYTHING ELSE? - I use to be an emotional eater, since starting SB, eating emotionally hasn't happened once. I love this WOE and believe it's the best thing for me. I plan on this being a life change, not something I will stop doing after I reach goal. I thank my lucky stars to have all of you for your friendship and support!

SIGNIFICANCE OF YOUR USER NAME - I LOVE the BEACH and everything about it. My house is decorated in beach decor and my family and I try to go for at least a week 2-3 times a year. Our favorite beach is Clearwater and the Tampa area. I am just a Floridian at heart stuck in the middle of Alabama (where I grew up...moved away from to Houston and came back to because of family issues.)

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE SUGAR BUSTERS? - My doctor recommended it because I was having high blood sugar and I have blood sugar swings.
ANYTHING ELSE? - This board has kept me very motivated and has helped me stay on track.
FAV. EXERCISE -none, but I walk my legs off at work.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE SUGAR BUSTERS? -Needed to loose & had heard about SB from a friend. Had battle with blood clots in both legs, high cholesterol & triglycerides. Decided to try SB & even though my cholesterol is still high, barely within the upper limits of normal, my triglycerides came down from over 400 down to 75.
ANYTHING ELSE? -have gained back 15 of my 38lbs I had lost & need some help & support to get back on it.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE SUGAR BUSTERS? - It sounded reasonable & healthy, and I've found it the easiest for me to live with for life. It's certainly not the fastest losing "diet" I've ever been on, but I can see it lasting.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE S/B? Had gall bladder surgery 2 months ago- Surgeon saw Cirrhosis of Liver which has been caused by Diabetes and Overweight.(Only 8% of diabetics get this - lucky me) Diabetic & Liver Dr both suggested S/B. If I don't lose the weight - I will be facing a liver transplant in 5 yrs.
ANYTHING ELSE- I've been reading S/B for several weeks- and still have lots of questions --I don't have a handle on this "GI" - you will be hearing from me!!!

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE SUGAR BUSTERS? - My grandmother brought SB to my attention a little over a year ago, but at the time, I was still nursing my daughter, so I didn't pick up on it at the time, but knew that it made alot of sense. I was surfing about a week ago, and found this board, and well, the lightbulb went on.
ANYTHING ELSE? - I"ve never messed with the smilies too much before, so I hope I did them right. If not, hopefully someone will give me a quick lesson.

ANYTHING ELSE? I'm insulin depdendent diabetic (since 1992) and now use a pump. I need to get my body in shape first for me, and then to have a baby! I don't want to lose my eyes or kidneys because of my food binges!

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE SUGAR BUSTERS? -I have an aunt who lost a lot of weight on this diet. When looking at this "diet" it appeared to be something I could LIVE with, not just lose the weight and gain it all back (which I've done many, many, many times.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE SUGAR BUSTERS? - my doctor (Internal Medicine doc) suggested it to assist with high cholesterol and gastric reflux problems.
ANYTHING ELSE? I trained for and ran a marathon in January 2000 without really losing weight, probably no more than 10 pounds. My diet consisted of high GI carbs, as I thought I needed them, but not running enough to offset my diet. I didn't run or exercise much after the marathon and continued with poor eating habits, so I gained quite a bit of weight.
This site is an ENORMOUS amount of support for me. My husband even comments that I am in a better mood when I have visited here. He is right. It is good to know that others understand what I am experiencing and the support they can offer is very, very valuable.
